Hey guys! So as some of you many know, nominations for the @phanficawards has been open for most of the year now, and voting officially beings November 1! 

Since I haven’t before, I wanted to take the moment to thank everyone who has nominated me in the many categories I’ve found myself to be in, and to also make the rest of you aware of those nominations in case you want to vote for me! I would be honored to win any award, but if I’m being honest, I’m even more honored just to be nominated, so thank you to everyone who loves my writing so much, and who have supported me while I’ve been in this fandom <3

Dan’s held plenty of people’s hands in his life, but holding Phil’s never fails to feel new and make his heart flip over ridiculously in his chest.

Dan had no idea what to do with his hands when they first met. He was just standing there, wringing them back and forth, and he’s really thankful Phil seemed to know what he was doing and grabbed onto his hand, twining their fingers up together like he’d been doing it forever. Phil was so confident and sure and Dan was so shy and cautious and he’s thankful that Phil took his hand because if he hadn’t, Dan’s not sure he would’ve ever gotten up the nerve to do it himself.

They’ve been holding hands for years now, but Dan still gets that fluttery feeling sometimes when Phil absentmindedly reaches out for him. Phil’s one of those people who plays with your fingers, he tugs on Dan’s pinkies and rubs his thumb over the top of Dan’s when they’re sitting in the backseat of a long car ride. He does a thing with his fingertips that Dan’s never really fully understood, but he doesn’t mind. He’ll walk his fingers down Dan’s leg, arm, stomach, whatever part of him is available when he’s bored. He tiptoes across Dan’s skin, featherlight and gentle, and it makes goosebumps pop up and a shiver run down the small of Dan’s back.

Phil’s touch is so delicate, the tips of his fingers make Dan crumble, and Dan’s amazed that, even after all this time, Phil manages to make him feel so shy, but so new and good all over again.
