Celebrating my week-long birthday

Getting another year in my life was never that hard. But how I will live for another year given to me according to God's plans, I think that's another story.

I just realized that when you get a year older, it's not about the past years that were added that you should be just thankful for, it's also about thanking for the one year that you will have to love, to share, to celebrate.

This year, I have a very different celebration of my birthday with so many firsts. 

First long travel with the family.

  First meeting the Puey clan.

First time to see the historical houses.

  First time to celebrate the birthday with breakfast with two gorgeous ladies at home.

First time to receive flowers on my birthday.

First time to go night swimming on my birthday. 

First time to break 2 glasses in a bar. hahaha!

  First time to bring and share gifts and foods to the kids at Pedia Ward 9 of Philippine General Hospital.

  First time to pay P3,000 +++ for a dinner.

With all of these first times, I am very much overwhelmed on how God has blessed me and excited for the new chapter of my life. 

I don't what my tomorrow holds, but I know one thing, I have a living God who knows the best thing for me.

Lord Strengthen Me Against the Enemies

Ephesians 6:12 (NIV) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

If someone is angry at you, fighting or persecuting you, remember that they are just use by Satan to put you down.

Bad things, problems and sickness are not from God. John 10:10 (NIV) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

But God allows bad things, problems and sickness to happen to us, because through these he shows his power, protection and cure.

Weapons against the enemies: 1. God's Word Ephesians 6:17 (NIV) Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Satan fights near and hand to hand. Satan is not omnipotent, not omniscient, not omnipresent.

Praise When we praise, God us present

Obedience Obey God to be able to know and do his will.

Faith To avoid traps, walk closely with God

Prayer and fasting Fasting gives you deeper time and more focused with God.

Remember that the devil attacks those who love God. The greater your commitment to God the more the devil will threaten you.

If now we are not living in abundance, the devil maybe robbing you. Or maybe we are not aligned in God's will.

Conclusion: Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. [11] Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.

Becoming What God Wants Me to Be

Colossians 1:16 (NIV) For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

Proverbs 19:21 (NIV) 16:25 Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

Being successful and fulfilling God's purpose are not at all the same issues.

You werent put on earth to make an earthly legacy but to build an eternal legacy. Remember David!

Where ever God puts you, be faithful.

Purpose of God

Worship= you were planned for God's pleasure It is not part of your life but it is your life Worship is for the Lord It is like a battle you have to fight for it

Fellowship- you were formed for God's family Genesis 2:18 (NIV) The Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

Discipleship- you were created to become like Christ Romans 8:29 (NIV) For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

Ministry- you were shaped for serving God 🍎🍊🍉🍓🍅🍆 Psalm 139:14 (NIV) I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

You are the way you are because you were made for a specific ministry.

1 Peter 4:10 (NIV) Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

You just need to ask God to help you to work in his ministry

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV) "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. [9] "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

We are made to show tthis world that we are changed by God.

Mission- you were made for a mission

Your ministry is your service to Christians, your mission is your service to non- Christians

Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV) Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Don't be afraid if you don't know how to teach or share His words, God promised that if you just make yourself available, he will do the rest.

Isang Sulat ng Lalaki Tungkol sa Babae

Isang napakahusay na sulat. Kung sino ka man, saludo ako sa iyo.

"Ang mga babae, madaldal/mabunganga." Oo, wala talagang tigil ang bibig nila sa pag-rachada sa kakasalita. Lalo na sa tuwing pinapaalala nila sayo na oras na para inumin ang iyong gamot, kapag nagtatanung sila kung kumain ka na ba, kapag ginising ka nila sa umaga upang hindi ma-late at sa mga pagkakataon na nag-aalala sila sayo at tinatanung kung nasaan ka na at bakit hindi ka pa umuuwi. Walang duda, madaldal nga. Hayaan mo na, balang araw, siguro magbabago din sila. Tipong maririnig mo lang ee "Oo", "Hinde" at "Pwede". Para kayong naglalaro ng Pinoy Henyo. Romantic siguro ng buhay nyo nun.

Nakaka-inis ba? Ok lang yan, malay mo next time, hindi na siya ganun. Tipong i-aasa na lang niya sa Facebook ang iyong kaarawan. Tapos tamang post na lang sa wall mo ng "hapi bday".

"Ang mga babae, emosyonal." They cry about movies. They get teary with a romantic novel. They blush and gasp upon seeing a picture of a cute dog or a cuddly baby. Bakit ba ganun sila? Buti na lang tayo hindi. Kinikimkim lang naten lahat ng emosyon sa loob hanggang sa sumabog at atakihin sa puso o di naman kaya ee magpapakalasing tapos magwawala at maghahamon ng wrestling. Di ba mas logical un? Madalas pa mag-imagine na ikakasal kayo sa simbahan. Lagi nag a-iloveyou, imissyou, take care at mwah mwah sa text. Asar ka na ba at nacocornyhan? Ayos lang yan. Darating din siguro ang time na titigil siya at isesend ang mga un sa iba.

Women are probably the greatest gift to men, from God, beside beer and sizzling sisig. At para sken, women deserve all advantages, lalo na sa pag-ibig. Sana lahat ng babae ay maging masaya ang lovelife. Sana, walang babaeng heart-broken, kasi, tayong mga lalake, we're meant to pursue them and it's okay if we fail from time to time. It's the way nature intended it. Gaya ng isang leon sa usa o pag-ikot ng earth sa paligid ng araw. Mas okay kung tayo na lang ung masasaktan. Ee sila? Isipin mo, nagkakaroon sila ng "dalaw" at nababaliw kada buwan, nabubuntis at nahihirapan ng 9 months, at pinaka matindi sa lahat, kailangan pa nilang panatilihing makinis at walang buhok ang kanilang mga kili-kili. Ano ba namang pasayahin sila at gawing "scar-free" ang kanilang buhay pag-ibig.

And if you are with a great gal, do everything to make her happy. Don't ever break her heart. Wag kang magpa-uto sa mga statistics, na nagsasabing, mas marami ang babae sa lalake, kaya okay lang mang-chiks. Ano pa bang gusto mo? Hindi pa ba sapat na minahal ka niya sa kabila ng iyong pagiging engot at kawalan ng Romantic DNA sa katawan? Malaki man ang papolasyon nila sa mundo, napaka-liit ng tsansang makakilala ka ulet ng katulad niya na magtya-tyaga sayo.

Tandaan, pansamantala ka mang maakit ng naglalakihang pulang high-heels o maaarteng makintab na sandals, mas masarap pa ring umuwe sa nag-iisang tsinelas ng buhay mo. ♥

Today I feared of getting out of my comfort zone. I feared of doing the thing that I'm good at. I feared the people that might tell I'm not capable of this thing. I feared that I will fail. Today I feared because I know I am weak, I am not enough and I once failed. But yes, I know at the same time that I have my God with me who is stronger, more than enough and who is always a winner.
