Raiden

As soon as he noticed, he came up to you almost without hesitation.

"Can I sit next to you? Or do you want to be alone?"

You mumbled something along the lines of "I wouldn't mind if you stayed".

His hugs were always so warm. Raiden always stroked your back and hair, kissed your forehead gently and just listened in silence.

"Everything will definitely get better"

Those words finally broke the silence as soon as your tears stopped flowing.

"You think so..?"

"Of course, my darling. I am so proud of you, because you won't to give up, you really think about that, but everytime i see how you're moving on." He looked at you warmly.

Raiden brought you a warm blanket and laid down next to you so that you would feel protected and surrounded by warmth and care.

He cares. He is always here for you. He will always protect you.

Liu Kang

For a long time, you avoided his presence when you had almost no strength to hold back the tears and the most destructive feeling inside.

He was well aware of this, but Liu Kang respected your choice and understood perfectly well that he would only be able to help if you yourself wanted to trust him.

You were afraid of his reaction. You knew he wouldn't do anything wrong, he would never allow himself to do that. But still, it was scary to think about how God would comfort you. It would be very awkward to cry in front of Liu Kang.

And it only took raising your head and meet his eyes.

"Do you want to talk?"

"Maybe"

He will deny your claims of being a complete disappointment and the worst thing he could have created because you did not live up to expectations.

He was very shy about not starting with what was on his tongue or abruptly losing the essence of the conversation. But now he understood how critical the situation was, so he just exhaled and gathered his thoughts.

"You don't have to be strong. You don't have to constantly try to make people proud of you and make them love you. I accept and love you for who you are. You don't have to work or train with me every morning. I want you to be happy. And I'll never turn my back on you anyway."

He started joking around and acting cocky just to calm you down and make you laugh, but as soon as he stopped your eyes filled up with tears. It's probably at times like this that you realize you've chosen the right person. A man who really won't turn away at a crucial moment.

He held you in his arms for a few more hours, kissing your cheeks and wiping away your tears. Later, he brought you warm tea and didn't leave your side for a minute. Just to make you feel safe.

Smoke

He was very scared when he realized that you started crying right in his arms. At first, he thought he had hurt you somehow, but it turned out that you just didn't want to go on anymore, keep trying and just act like everything was fine.

"You're not a joke at all, Y/N! Please don't think so badly of yourself."

His heart was bleeding and he was so sorry that he hadn't noticed your condition earlier, hadn't talked to you and assured you that you were doing great.

He could barely hold back the tears himself, so as not to so as not to make you worry about him in addition to anything else. But Smoke focused on what was happening right now and promised himself that now was the time to just talk.

"I want to take care of you and support you. Don't be afraid to share all your feelings with me. I don't want you to go through this alone. I know it's hard, but I'll always be by your side."

His embrace didn't feel cold. It was so accepting and comforting that you didn't even notice how you fell asleep. Gratitude and love warmed your heart, and warm kisses on your temple only confirmed this.

He'll look at you more than once and ask how you're feeling. Smoke will kiss you on the forehead every time you talk about your day and smile. He will make sure that you drink nice tea and watch the sunset together.

Kuai Liang

A cold night was approaching. You didn't want to go home in such a broken state. Nothing was going well at all that day. Your injured arm still hurt a lot, and you didn't know how to tell Kuai Lian about it. You just wanted to disappear for a couple of days, come to your senses and come back again. But that's real life, fortunately or unfortunately.

In fact, you really wanted to drown in the arms of a man you think about often enough to be scolded for being inattentive.

You just wanna cry on his shoulder, say everything that had accumulated that day. Follow every movement of his hands and every word while he was explaining when and how to change bandages.

"You'll freeze"

The calm but intense voice overshadowed the sound of the fireflies.

Scorpion sat down next to you and silently looked at you. He's patiently waiting for an answer why you didn't come home three hours ago.

"I'm sorry"

"It's all good.. I was worried, but I'm glad you're okay"

As soon as you exhaled, tears started rolling down harder and harder. You didn't have to wait long for hugs. and the warmest support too.

"Days don't always turn out the way we want them to. And I'm really sorry that your arm is injured. But there won't be anything good without sacrifices. And you're doing great, even if you don't ask for my help."

You were ashamed about preferring to cope on your own, without seeking help from Scorpion. It was terribly sad to realize that he notices everything perfectly, he doesn't mind that, but he just waits patiently for you to realize that you are ready.

Johnny Cage

You were really tired, so you just ignored Johnny and went straight to the bedroom. He, of course, worriedly followed you.

"Babe, did something happen?"

Sometimes you just wanted to let go of almost everything in the world just to let yourself be completely happy. You really wanted to spend more time with Johnny. He gets very bored and worried because sometimes the work gets so serious that you have to work for days. He knows that about it and still remains unhappy, because he has so much money!!!! He has everything in the world, but it still turns out that you choose a job over him.

"Forgive me.."

Tears well up, but the lump in your throat still won't go away. It becomes increasingly embarrassing because you're just afraid to completely trust yourself and move on. Of course, you discussed it, and every time you saw Johnny's upset but understanding face, you immediately felt awful.

You used to cry quietly in the kitchen while he was sleeping peacefully, but now you no longer have the strength to restrain yourself, to run away somewhere. For the first time, you just wanted to face your fears and to understand yourself more.

Realizing that you were completely broken, Johnny just laid down next to you. You immediately found yourself in his arms.

"Let me buy you a star so you know how much I love you. And forgive me for putting so much pressure on you about the job. I just see how bad you feel and there's nothing I can do about it. I really want you to be happy, my love."

You hated your job too, but you wanted to make a surprise for Johnny, so you tried to be cheerful, to be strong, but you felt exhausted in these days. But you're almost done, and then you'll quit right away, and maybe will find a less stressful job.

"Everything will definitely get better. do as you like and as you feel. I will always support you in everything. And, Y/N, you're not alone. I know I'm not always serious, but I care about you. and I will never stop doing that."

It's amazing how calm it always is in his arms. He gently stroked your shoulder and tried to quickly remember a joke so that you would laugh or even just smile.

Sub-Zero

There was nobody home. You let out a sigh of relief because you don't have to explain anything to Bi-Han. The light remained off. Things were abandoned. You didn't want to talk or even cry, you just wanted to zone out for just a moment and sink into oblivion.

Frankly, you already expected to find yourself in this tired state, because in the last month everything was falling out of your hands, you were disappointed in people, and Bi-Han canceled training, so you had to do it yourself.

You've never complained, and you knew perfectly well that this month is pretty tough for everyone right now. At least Sub-Zero would come home, make you your favorite sandwiches, and hug you without saying a word when he sees the tiredness on your face. You never expect anything from anyone. Maybe it's a minus or a plus, but it was still easier to live that way. Especially with Bi-Han, who was quite cold towards almost everyone.

You heard quiet footsteps and then saw Bi-Han himself who was standing in the doorway. He wasn't surprised at all when he found you in a dark bedroom. He laid down beside you in silence. He took your hand and kissed it gently.

It started raining outside and the room got colder, but who cares?

"I hope you remember that you are the most beautiful. You fought like a goddess today. I almost lost to Thomas."

You shook your head disapprovingly and turned on face him. You got so close that you two were almost touching noses. One solitary tear rolled down your cheek, which Sub-Zero immediately wiped away.

"І just wanted you to know that... It's okay not to bе fine... I'll always be there for you, even if I come home late or cancel our trainings all the time. I am really sorry, I wish I could spend more time with you."

His hands stroked your cheeks and you weren't cold at all. You smiled lightly and whispered how tired you were, but how much you loved him. You knew that the bad things were ending and everything was going to get better. In the meantime, you need to gain strength and just believe.

"Thank you."
