levi was human after all ( right ? ) so there would be that little hint of r e g r e t, of sadness for being so mean to nico for almost no reason at all. at his answer, though, no matter how many TIME nico was going to say it didn’t m a t t e r, levi knew that it did —- actually, he didn’t know, but he figured and apparently, whatever he figured was truth. ❛ RIGHT. ❜ he said, tiny smile appearing as he just stood there, knowing that if he kept his attitude, the other was going to be pissy, but a d m i t t i n g what really happened would be horrible for him !!! even though there wasn’t a clear reason as to why. but standing there, LOOKING at him noticing how p i s s e d off he sounds, levi had a quick decision to make and unfortunately for him, it was at his cost. ❛ —- —- alright, fine ! i’m just being an ASSHOLE to you, okay ? it happened, we did that and it shouldn’t be awkward or talked about cause it was just a thing. and that’s why i d i d n ’ t just admit it. ❜
in all honestly, he wasn't sure what he was even e x p e c t i n g levi to say in response ; the conversation had taken a course that wasn't in nico's favor and despite his usual brash and downright STUBBORN demeanor, he was willing to let it go. only for the sake of not continuously e m b a r r a s s i n g himself ! it was rather humiliating standing there ; speaking about something whilst the other acted as if nothing had ever happened. did he wish it never happened ? --- the brunette's wondering as broad shoulders roll into a fabricated display of nonchalance ; even though this topic was getting underneath his skin ! ❛ don't you think you made it more a w k w a r d by pretending it NEVER even happened ? --- ... anyway, like i said, it doesn't matter. ❜ but it D O E S ; so much so it has nico unlike himself in every sense. it was in his nature to be WITTY, to go along with situations like this and find nothing but h u m o r in them --- so why was this one was so different ?
