Author’s Notes: Part 2/2. Prompt ideas are always welcome. Hope you enjoy! I, like @kwaj115 and @loyalshrimp, have been listening to At Last. I swear, it was a coincidence!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Luna, my love. We have to get to the airport.”
“Okayyyyy....I’m going I swear.”
“You’re not even moving.”
“In my mind I’m moving.”
“I’m about to tickle you.”
“I’m going!” Luna finally mobilized. She checked her bags and smiled gratefully at Ina. “You are the best wife- I mean spouse- I mean-”
Ina chucked. “I know what you meant. And yes, I am truly the best.”
Soon, Ina thought. Soon I’ll be the luckiest fiancee and then wife in the world.
~
Luna and Ina got to the airport with two hours to spare. They wandered around souvenir stores laughing and trying to guess how overpriced little trinkets were.
“New York City to Paris boarding now,” they heard over the intercom.
Ina grabbed Luna’s hand and they walked to the boarding station.
“Are you ready?”
“As I’ll ever be. I’m always ready to go on a new adventure with you.”
~
Ina was seriously appalled at how much this girl could sleep. Not even two hours in the flight, Luna was curled up on Ina’s shoulder, sleeping like a baby.
In return, Ina laid her head on Luna, whispering soft proclamations of love. “One day, I’ll find the courage and make you my wife. I’ll love you until the sun gives out.” Soon she too started dozing off. Little did she know that Luna wasn’t completely asleep.
~
The plane landed and of course, Ina had to wake Luna up. This time, however, Luna was quite eager. “Where are we going, Ms. Travel Agent?”
“Let’s put our bags down in the hotel and then we’ll go to our first thing scheduled.”
The two hailed a taxi, dropped off their belongings and Ina took Luna to a romantic, cozy restaurant right next to the Seine for dinner.
They returned to the hotel, laughing after admittedly being a bit buzzed from the many champagne glasses they’d had.
They spent two weeks in Paris, starting their day off early in museums to beat the crowds, picking up sandwiches from the boulangerie and later dining in Michelin-starred restaurants for dinner. Then they’d walk down the Seine until they saw the lit up Eiffel Tower and returned to the hotel. Ina felt as if she could never grow tired of Luna. Everything she did made her smile or laugh.
On their last day, Luna wore her black dress and led Ina down the Seine, but she stopped at the Pont des Arts.
“Lu-?”
“I know you were pretty adamant about planning the whole trip and stuff, but I wanted to bring you here. I want you to know that what I feel for you isn’t fleeting. You should know that I think we’re endgame.”
“Are you pro-”
“I’m not. I just want you to know that I’ll love you until the world explodes because of climate change and nothing will ever change how I feel about you. Even our foreseeable end of humanity.”
Ina laughed heartily.
“So, I got us this when I found out we were going to Paris.” Luna pulled out a carabiner. “I know it’s not a lock like the other ones on this bridge, but at least we’ll know this is ours. Plus the added bonus of it being a carabiner.”
Ina rolled her eyes in feigned annoyance. “I love it. And I love you. More than anything in this world that is just being destroyed by the second.” Ina felt the small ring box shake in her pocket, begging for her to finally do the deed. She slowly leaned down.
But something overtook Ina. The nerves rattled her core and she pretended to tie her shoe laces.
The voices in her head screamed. You flake!
Ina got up and led Luna back to their hotel. When Luna went to shower, Ina quickly texted Lilian.
Ina: Lil.
Lilian: DID YOU DO IT?
Ina: I was about just about to. It was just perfect. We were right on a bridge over the Seine, she had just told me we were endgame. And then I don’t know what happened. I just couldn’t.
Lilian: OH COME ON.
Ina: I pretended that I needed to tie my shoe laces.
Lilian: Right when I thought this story couldn’t get worse...
Ina: I know. Frankly, I’m disappointed in myself.
Lilian: All I’m saying is don’t let this one go Ina. She’s way out of your league...
Ina: I know. I’m summoning the courage necessary. I swear, in the next week I’ll have a fiancee.
Lilian: When I see the rock on her finger, I’ll finally believe you.
~
The two flew back to New York, happier than ever.
“Babe?”
“Yes?”
“I’m hungry.”
Ina knew just where to take Luna. She rerouted the taxi to their favorite little diner. The jukebox was playing a slow love song (of course, the universe was just aligned perfectly) and after they ordered, Ina brought Luna to her feet.
“Dance with me.”
The music slowed and Ina sang along. “For you are mine at last.”
She spun Luna around and brought her close, so that Luna was nuzzled around her.
“You know I love you, right?” Ina whispered in Luna’s ear.
Ina sucked in a breath. Here we go. This was it. Just asking the love of her life to marry her. No biggie.
“Order 40?” someone in the kitchen called out.
Damn it. Too slow, Ina. You. Absolute. Idiot. Lilian would be laughing her pants off now.
Lilian’s words echoed in Ina’s head as the waiter laid their food on the table. She’s head over heels in love with you as you are with her. Come on, Kingsley. Just do it already!
The couple ate their food - Luna faster than Ina - and Luna proceeded to take out a quarter for the jukebox. Ina finally joined her, slow dancing to the beat.
When the song ended, Ina smiled sweetly at Luna.
Luna severely carb-loaded and admittedly, Ina was saying so many words that Luna zoned her out. She caught the last line “That in black ink my love may still shine bright” as she tuned her back in.
“Ina, you know I love you, especially when you recite poetry, but I just think Shakespeare is SO pretentious. You’re not British and you’re not old. Well, relatively speaking to modern age I guess. You could be old in some-”
“My love, shh.”
Ina took a deep breath and leaned down.
“Grandma, have you fallen and can’t get up? Oh crap wait...” Luna gasped.
Ina smiled up at Luna.
“Luna, from the moment I saw you, I knew you were the one for me. It isn’t just your infectious laugh, or that look you give when you’re confused, or the smile you give me when I come home. It’s also the way you take care of me when I’m being stubborn and want to go to work even if I’m as sick as a dog, the way you always manage to cheer me up when I’m feeling down, the way you listen to my long, never-ending stories...It’s you, babe. And it’s always been you. And it’ll always be you.”
At this point, Luna was in tears, both surprised Ina had actually proposed and overcome with emotion.
“Will you do me the honor and marry me?”
“How is it that you always seem to say more words than needed,” Luna teased.
Ina grunted. “Will you marry me?”
“Yes. I’d like nothing more.”
Ina got up and wrapped Luna in a tight embrace as the fellow diners cheered for them. Luna wiped Ina’s tears with one hand and smiled at her while Ina put the ring on her finger. Damn, what a rock!
“I love you. More than anything in this world and nothing will ever change that,” Luna sighed against her fiancee.
“I love you too. Let’s get out of here, my wonderful fiancee.”
“After you, fiancee.”
Ina left a generous amount on the table and hurried into the night with Luna. They reached their apartment and Ina FaceTimed Lilian. She pointed the camera straight at Luna, who flashed her ring.
“AHHHHHH! I was going to be upset for calling me this late but AHHHH! You finally did it, Kingsley.”
“I did. I guess I have some wedding planning to do.”
“I’m so happy for you both.”
“Thanks Lil. I’ll let you go back to bed, but I wanted to prove that I’d have a fiancee by the end of the week.”
“Fine, Ina. Just took you a whole trip to Paris and all but CONGRATS! Love you both!”
Ina hung up on Lilian and grabbed two glasses and a bottle of champagne. She got closer to Luna and pressed a kiss to her cheek. In her embrace, Luna soon fell asleep and Ina carried her to bed. She kissed her forehead and whispered
“Luna, I love you more than the moon and sun combined. I’ll work hard every day to make sure you know how loved you are.”
Soon, Ina too fell asleep clutching her fiancee.

Ina Kingsley x MC: Falling in Love with You
Summary: Raven and Ina spend New Year’s Eve together.
Warnings: Fluff, a sprinkle of angst

Author’s Notes: Happy New Year! I wasn’t thinking about writing a fic for New Year’s but I thought about the song Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley. @loyalshrimp gave me a song, At Last by Etta James, I really loved the song so I wanted to add it to the fic. I JUST HAD TO WRITE IT Y’ALL- It’s rushed, I’m sorry but I hope y’all enjoy it!
Times Square was buzzing with many people on New Year’s Eve. Ina and Raven hold on tight to each other’s hands, avoiding all the strangers rushing around. They showed each other their favourite food places. Both Raven and Ina discover hidden treasures, trying different types of food with each other. As they explore more of Times Square’s wonders, they find many couples gathered and dancing with their partners to At Last by Etta James.
“I love this song!” Ina exclaimed, pulling Raven into the crowd and swaying with her. Hands on her hips and Raven’s arms on her shoulders, they stared into each other’s eyes until the song came to an end. Ina’s face lit up as she turned to look around at the other couples cheering while Raven was still admiring her.
You smiled, you smiled
Oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine...
At Last
As they move their way through the crowd, Raven finally found her car and raced to it with Ina behind, she was wary of rushing with snow and ice in hidden places.
“I really wanna show you a place that I go to when I need some time to myself and to feel relaxed.”
They continue the long drive as Ina looks out the window, admiring the secret location that is untouched. Raven parks the car near the edge of the hill, overlooking the city.
“Voila!”
“Raven, this is beautiful! How did you find this place?”
“A birdie told me!”
Ina raised an eyebrow at Raven.
“No, I’m serious! I saw a bird and looked pretty cool so I followed it.”
Ina continued to stare at her with a bewildered look.
“Whaat?! It was a cute bird and I wanted to take a picture! Don’t look at me like th- OOO A RABBIT!”
Ina chuckles and shakes her head. They both moved out of the car to admire the scenery. The soft glow of the city below reflecting on Ina’s face. Raven prepared the car as she was distracted. Setting out the blankets over the folded backseats in and the moonroof gave a clear view of the beautiful sky above.
“Okay then! Welcome to our warm, makeshift bed!”
Ina laughs quietly before following Raven into the car and getting comfortable. They stared up at the sky, enjoying each other’s presence and holding on tight in the heated car.
“Thank you for an amazing year with me.”
Ina nuzzles into Raven’s neck, humming.
“Thank you for an amazing year with ME.”
Raven snickers, shaking her head.
“I don’t know what I would’ve done without you. It’s been a while since I’ve felt…free..happy..and loved.”
She sat up to look down on Raven.
“You mean so much to me, Raven. I thought I could never believe in love anymore. My ex always made me believe that I wasn’t worth it. She blamed me for her cheating on me. But then you came along and you made me believe in love again, no matter how hard I tried to resist having feelings for you.”
Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
“I feel safe and comfortable with you. I can be who I am around you and face no judgment. I don’t feel like an outcast.”
Darling, so it goes
Raven was moving towards her, her eyes never leaving Ina’s.
“I am so grateful that you came into my life. You gave me hope, letting me see the world from a different perspective.”
Some things are meant to be
She whispers the next part to Ina.
“You showed me that there is more to life than just existing.”
An alarm rang before Raven caught her lips, locking them. She saw the gleam of a variety of colors from the fireworks on Raven’s face.
Take my hand,
“Happy new year, baby.”
“Happy new year, Rae.”
They settled down and watched the fireworks from above. Exchanging kisses, excited to spend the new year together.
Take my whole life, too
For I can't help falling in love with you
For I can't help falling in love with you

Summary: Ina and Luna hit several milestones!

Author’s Notes: Part 1/2. I’m back (for now) and I’ve realized how much I’ve missed writing. Prompt ideas are always welcome. Hope you enjoy!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Luna Garcia," Columbia University's dean announced in a booming voice.
Ina was a few years older now, but that just furthered her ineptitude with technology. She scrambled for her phone, trying to get the camera app open.
Crap, crap, crap. Come on!! she thought. Luckily, Luna had just gotten on the stage. She shook the dean's hand, proudly showcasing her med school diploma. It had been a hard few years, but she had done it. Ina stood up, beaming with pride, snapping several photos.
That's my Luna, she smiled to herself. Finally, she sat down as the next graduate was called.
~
When the ceremony finished, Ina found Luna.
"Come here," Ina smiled at Luna. Luna ran up to her lover, wrapping her arms around her.
"Ouch," Ina said, rubbing the back of her neck.
"Ah sorry, babe. Was it the diploma?" she asked.
"Mhm. It's okay though. I'm so proud of you," Ina said, resting her forehead on Luna's.
"I couldn't have done it without you. You were my rock when I felt like I couldn't do it anymore," Luna replied.
"You're amazing. More than you know," Ina grinned. "Okay, your parents are trying to pretend they’re not staring. I'm gonna go to the bathroom to give you guys some space."
"No, stay with me, Ina," Luna pleaded. "You know how they are."
Ina laughed. "Nosy?"
"I know, I know," Luna said. "But they absolutely adore you. More than me, probably."
Ina was hard not to love. And despite initial reluctancy, the Garcias welcomed Ina into their family.
And yes, the Garcias had their issues, but Ina loved them too. It had been a long time since she had any sort of parental figure.
Ina chuckled and grabbed Luna’s hand. “Ignacio. Elena. ¿Cómo están?”
“Estamos bien. Orgullosos,” Ignacio, Luna’s father, replied. “¿Y tú?
“Estoy muy contenta. Bueno, yo diría que nosotras estamos contentas,” Ina glanced up at Luna who was passionately talking to her mom Elena. Luna happened to glance up at Ina - attempting to do it discreetly as she was talking about her - but Ina met her eyes and smiled, one that Luna returned.
“What are we talking about over here?” Ina asked.
“You of course,” Luna made her way over to Ina once again and rested her head on Ina’s shoulder.
“I was just telling your father how happy we’ve been since we moved in together.”
“I have to admit that we were a bit worried when you guys decided to move in together. It’s a big commitment,” Elena began.
Luna visibly shuddered at the word ‘commitment.’ However, she’d come a long way. Ina had taught her how to love again without the fear of betrayal.
“It’s a big step forward, but I’ve been having the time of my life,” Ina admitted. “Especially on the days when Luna comes home after school exhausted and we just curl up in bed together reading a book.”
Ignacio raised his eyebrow. “In bed together?” Ina visibly blushed in embarrassment.
“Papi.”
“I’m just messing with you, Luna. Pero Ina, you treat my daughter right, eh?”
“Always, sir.”
“Good. Elena and I want to go to some touristy places while we’re here. Let’s meet up later though, okay?”
“Perfect.”
The two couples went their separate ways. Luna and Ina walked hand-in-hand, but Luna was quick with the questions.
“Ina, where are we off to now?”
“We’re going home, my love. Indulge me for a bit please.”
Ina and Luna arrived at home to find many celebratory balloons and a cake bigger than her face.
“Ina, did you do all of this for me?”
“Only the best for you. However, your gift is right here.”
“A map?” Luna questioned as she noticed the huge map adorning their living room wall.
“Sort of. Let’s play a game. Take this,” Ina said as she handed Luna a blindfold.
“Ooo, kinky!”
“Hush you.”
Luna was directed right in front of the map and given a Nerf gun.
“These have the little suction cup things and wherever the bullet lands, that’s our next vacation spot.”
Luna breathed in carefully and fired at the map.
Ina laughed a bit as she could see where Luna had landed on. She lifted the blindfold from Luna’s eyes and cradled her in her arms.
Paris.
The two chuckled. The universe had a funny way of messing with lovers. Of course Luna had landed in the city of love. It was just fitting.
“Are you really taking me to Paris?” Luna radiated with happiness.
“I’m booking the flights as soon as I stop hugging you.”
~
“Are you sure you-” Luna began.
“Luna Garcia. Trust me for once.”
“Hey- I do trust you! I just like planning trips.”
“We’ve lived together for a while now and spend every waking second together. I know what you like when traveling because you and I like the same things - it’s why we get along so well.”
Luna wrapped her arms around Ina who was sitting at their coffee table, biting the ends of her glasses.
“You know, you’re the most attractive travel agent I’ve ever seen,” she breathed in her ear.
Ina set her glasses down on the table and pressed a kiss on Luna’s cheek.
“Flattery gets you no where, my love. I promise, I’ve got this.” Ina closed her laptop. “Or maybe...it gets you tickles!”
Suddenly, Ina sprang up and attempted to grab Luna, but Luna had already beaten her to it. The two faced off on opposite sides of the coffee table, staring each other down.
“You know, you move pretty fast for an old-”
“Hey-” Ina jumped onto the coffee table and grabbed Luna’s shoulders. She slid on the table until her legs wrapped around Luna. “Who are you calling old, hm?” she teased and began tickling Luna.
“Inaaaaaa!” Ina stopped and gently kissed Luna’s lips. “Pack your bags, we’re going to Paris tomorrow!”
“Tomorrow? Look at you and your new-found spontaneity.”
“Are old people spontaneous? No, didn’t think so. I’m not old,” Ina pouted.
Luna combusted at seeing her Ina pout. “You are the most adorable person I have ever met.” She led Ina into the hallway to their bedroom and jumped into Ina’s arms ready for a night of cuddles.
~
“Luna.”
Luna responded only with a grumble.
“Luna Garcia. I am this close to waking you with a pillow.”
Again, Luna muttered something incoherent.
Ina ripped out one of the many pillows Luna hogged and lightly tapped her with it.
“Babe...five more minutes please.”
“That’s what you said five minutes ago.”
“Your point being?”
“My point being our flight leaves in just hours and you have not packed one single bag.”
“I trust you. I know you’ll bring everything I need.”
“Like...”
“All I need is you.”
Ina’s heart melted at the only half-awake woman’s comments.
“Fine. How do you always do that?”
“Do what?”
“Say things that make me fall in love over and over again while managing to get yourself out of chores.”
“It’s all about the spoken word, baby! Now, good night.”
Ina quietly grabbed Luna’s favorite outfits from their closet. She came across a black satin slip dress and decided to bring it. It was hard to forget the first time she’d seen Luna wear it and she also remembered how long her mouth had gone agape. Sometimes, she felt like Luna didn’t know how mesmerizing she was.
Ina packed Luna’s things and checked to see if she was still sleeping. Sure enough, Luna was lightly snoring. She’d lost a lot of sleep in med school and finally was catching up.
Certain that Luna was asleep, Ina quietly pried the top cabinet drawer open to find the small red velvet box hidden amongst her many anthropology books. She opened inside and was blinded by the diamonds of the engagement ring and felt a shiver through her body.
She’d talked to Luna about marriage and the two were on the same page. But still, Ina worried. Every time she thought of proposing, nerves would come over her, stilling her mind and her knees that she couldn’t bend down to get on one knee.
A phone ringing brought Ina out of her thoughts and she picked up when she saw Lilian’s name. “Lil?”
“Ina! Are you guys in the city of love yet? Have you done it yet?”
“I’m just about to wake Luna up to go to the airport. And no, I haven’t.”
“Aww, come on. You know what she’s going to say. That girl’s head over heels in love with you as you are with her.”
“I know, Lil. That doesn’t make me any less nervous though.”
“When the time is right, do it. Maybe I’ll be a grandma by then though.”
“This is my cue to hang up on you. Goodbye, Lil.”
“Love you, you big scaredy-”

Ina Kingsley x MC: First Christmas
Summary: Flashes of Raven and Ina’s first Christmas then along with a new member!
Warnings: Fluff, a sprinkle of angst
Tags: @kulaykape @ikingsley @domakir @sheepmomther-personal @itsoverihavethehighground @barnibumblr @kaitlynliaofanxx @loyalshrimp @livvynka @alleycat97 @fundamentalromantic @blaine-hayes @rhonda-sayeed @vonda-b-real @clarafontaine237 @hallowdiamond
Author’s Notes: Not sure if it makes sense but Merry Christmas! It’s rushed, I’m sorry but I hope y’all enjoy it!
The campus was empty. Raven had a gift bag for the professor in one hand and a bag of all the marked papers in the other hand. Reaching Ina’s office, Raven knocked on the door and entered after she heard a mumbled ‘come in’ through the door. She looked around the office, appalled, at the overflowing gifts covering the area.
“Yeesh, I’m sorry professor but my gift isn’t much.”
Ina let out a chuckle, shaking her head.
“Raven, I always love your gifts. They mean a lot to me.”
“Aww, you simp.”
Ina rolled her eyes before handing her a gift bag and focusing back on her work.
“Is this for me?”
“No! I have yours neatly packed. This is what Micheal gave me, take a look.”
Raven reached into the bag, eyes widened, when she pulled out a lingerie set.
“Well, uhm. Last time I checked, I don’t think that’s your bra size.”
Ina huffed, finishing up an email and turning her full attention to Raven.
“I have two things and a question for you.”
Raven handed her the bag of marked papers and the gift bag.
“Aww Raven, you’re so sweet! Now, I don’t have to mark over the break. Your gift is beautiful.”
“You haven’t even seen it-”
“Still.”
She got up to embrace Raven, where she instantly melted in the older woman’s arms.
“So what was your question?”
She felt the younger woman stiffen and pull away, looking anywhere but her.
“Well, I haven’t really enjoyed Christmas. I celebrate it because of my family but I stopped after my mom passed. I wanted to ask if you would like to spend it with me this year?”
She looked up to see a pensive look on the professor’s face before she stumbled on her words.
“You don’t have to! I mean, I’m sure you might have plans with your sister and niece! I can just book a flight ticket back home-”
“I would love that.”
Raven stood there, flabbergasted. She felt a twinge in her chest until it smoothened out when she felt Ina’s arms around her.
“I’d love to spend Christmas with you. Yes, Lillian and Charlotte would be coming over but it’d be nice if you can join us.”
“I mean, I don’t want to intrude on anything-”
“You’re not.”
“Thank you.”
They stand there, holding each other. Raven’s chin resting on top of Ina’s head as they sway in the middle of the office. Reluctantly, Raven pulls away from the comforting hold.
“I have to go give some gifts to Tal, he’s going back home. I’ll see you later?”
“For sure, I’ll let you know.”
*****
Raven buzzed around finishing up errands before receiving Ina’s text with a place and time. As she walked with Tal towards the departure gate, he spoke up.
“How do you feel?”
Raven turned to him, surprised.
“What are you talking about? I’m good!”
He raised an eyebrow.
“Mhm, I’m proud of you.”
“What? I didn’t even do anything.”
Tal sighed, taking a glance at her.
“When your mother passed, you started to resent Christmas. You would feel obligated to be happy and participate with us during holiday events. You would lock yourself in your room, refusing to eat or drink anything Christmas-related. The only time you do anything Christmas-related is by getting gifts for our family. You know, mom was happy when you mentioned that you decided to ask Ina if she would like to celebrate with you.”
Raven continued walking, thinking back on all those moments. They finally reached the gate, they gave each other a bear hug before Tal started walking away.
She thought over his words before she left for home to get ready.
*****
She took a deep breath before she knocked on Ina’s door. Presents in hand, taking deep breaths to calm her racing heart. The door opened to reveal Lillian. Lillian looked at her with no reaction on her face which caused Raven to panic.
“H-hi, I’m Raven. Sorry, am I late?”
Lillian started to laugh before she opened the door wider to let her in.
“Ina, your girlfriend is easy to intimidate!”
Ina embraced Raven before letting her pass her gifts to Charlotte and Lillian. An eager Charlotte thanks Raven and holds her tight before she bounds off towards the living room.
*****
The night went on smoothly, Lillian and Ina chatting as they make hot chocolate while Raven jokes with Charlotte on what movie should play next.
“Hmm, she’s cute.”
Ina snorts, rolling her eyes.
“Yes, that’s a known fact.”
“I’m glad you’re happy, sis.”
Ina looks over the kitchen island towards the giggling pair.
“I’m happy too.”
*****
All 4 of them were enjoying their night, Lillian doing a little bit of her interrogation on Raven with Ina scolding her. Raven got to know the Kingsleys a bit better, feeling safe and at home with them. As mother and daughter continue watching Shrek the Halls, Ina and Raven sneak away to another room in the apartment.
“I wanna watch Shrek with them!”
Ina pulled out a mistletoe and hung it over their heads.
“Oh- Well! I have no choice but to kiss you, I guess.”
Ina leaned in and kissed Raven, enfolding Raven in her arms.
**Time Skip**
They pulled apart, resting their foreheads against each other. They heard loud laughter coming from outside and walked out to be met with a babble from baby Alana.
“Aww, look at her cute grabby motions!” Charlotte exclaimed.
Raven looked around at her new family, Kingsleys and Wardins mixed. She felt safe and happy, Raven felt that hope to celebrate Christmas again with her loved ones. She no longer felt that hole in her heart as it was filled up with love.

Ina x MC: Proud 🏳️‍🌈
Ina x MC: Proud 🏳️‍🌈
Summary: Ina and Luna celebrate pride.
Warnings: Fluff! And slightly jealous Ina.

Let me know if you want to be added or taken off the tag list.
Author’s Notes: I haven’t been writing as often as I used to, but I realized how much I’ve missed it. A bit late, but happy pride everyone.
Dedicating this fic to all the wonderful people I’ve met here, especially those that I’ve been simping over Ina with. Thank you all.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“And why exactly have you done my makeup so that I look like unicorn barf?” Ina questioned as she gawked at herself in the mirror. Ina’s cheeks were decorated with a thick rainbow and sparkles all over.
“It is most certainly NOT barf! I am deeply hurt,” Luna feigned offense. “But to answer your question, we’re going to a Pride parade!”
“Ah,” Ina slowly nodded. “I see you’ve brought out the cuffed jeans once again.”
Luna smiled at Ina as she rolled up her jeans. “What kind of bi are you if you don’t cuff your jeans and make bad puns.”
“An intellectual bisexual,” Ina responded wittily. “Hey! That rhymed.”
“Nerd. But name one bi that doesn’t fit those stereotypes.”
Ina racked her brain and sighed. “Don’t say it-”
“That’s what I thought. It’s quite accurate.”
Ina huffed but sported an amused smile. She had never actually gone to a Pride parade before, despite being very, very gay. She often watched through her window and vowed to go the following year, but alas, her work always took precedence.
“Can I at least do your makeup?” Ina gestured towards the chair in front of their bedroom mirror.
“Of course, honey. Do your worst.”
Ina first grabbed the purple, drawing a thin line down the middle of Luna’s cheeks.
“Oh. I see,” Luna said as she realized what Ina had been attempting to draw.
“Umm,” Ina began awkwardly. “What’s on top-”
“The sheer amount of responses I have to that...”
Ina rolled her eyes. “But seriously, is it blue or pink?”
“I don’t know honestly. Look it up, babe,”
“Seriously? You, the living stereotype of bi culture doesn’t know if blue or pink is at the top of the flag?” Ina teased.
“All I know is that purple is in the middle.”
“And that you’re a chaotic bi.”
“That too.”
The two laughed at and with each other until Ina figured out Luna’s makeup. They made their way down the street hand-in-hand, just to join right in the middle of the parade.
“This is nice. I wish I had attended before.”
Luna stopped in her tracks and whirled around quickly. “Wait- You’ve never been to a Pride parade before?”
“Never really had the time, I suppose.”
“But...but you’re gay! Gays always find the time, especially to be dramatic. After all, what is Pride if not dramatic?”
“I know, you’re the one that taught me that.”
“Oh hush. You’re dramatic too.”
“Give me one example.”
“Babe, I could name more than 3 right off the top of my head.”
Ina raised her eyebrows in question. “Go on then.”
“The one where the supermarket didn’t have those chips you like to binge and you whimpered all throughout the store. Then you made us search every grocery store on the way back home until you found them. The one where you made a tiny typo when misspelling ‘anthropological’ on one of your papers and ranted about how it would cost you your career. And from there on out, you make me proof-read all your papers. The one where they delivered the wrong color bike for Charlotte and you cried because you thought she’d hate you forever, but really she was just happy to get a bike. The one where-”
“I get it! Okay. Maybe I am a tad bit dramatic.”
Luna held up two fingers close to each other. “Just a tad.”
“As fun as that conversation was, why don’t we stop and get some drinks.”
“You and your old-fashioned cocktails,” Luna shook her head. “I’m gonna go to our favorite Thai place across the street. Do you want your regular?”
“Yes please. No snow-”
Ina was cut off by Luna’s hysterical laughter. “Luna...” she grumbled.
“You’re so bloody predictable, but I know. No snow peas.”
“Thank you. I’ll be over there, you know, drinking my usual, being predictable and such.”
“I’ll meet you there,” Luna said as the two went their separate ways.
Luna was fully turned around when she heard her name. She whirled around, smiling from ear-to-ear as she recognized her girlfriend’s welcoming voice. She saw Ina checking her out and smirked. Her skin-tight jeans and crop top made Ina go red. Once Ina finally met her eyes, Ina mouthed “Damn, Lu.”
Somehow, her smile widened even further and a rosy blush crept onto her cheeks. This damn woman could fluster her from a mile away. Luna gave Ina a small nod and pointed finger guns at her. Ina’s eye roll did not go unnoticed, but she returned Luna’s wide smile. With that, they parted.
Luna entered the Thai establishment where she was greeted with a warm welcome. Luna and Ina were both busy women and takeout was the most convenient. The two loved the hole-in-the-wall, family restaurant that knew their orders by heart. The restaurant was recently taken over by the founder’s son and daughter-in-law and they had a small toddler-age daughter.
“LUNA!!!” screeched the deafening voice of a child. Ellie clambered over to Luna and wrapped her tiny hands around Luna’s legs.
“Hi, Ellie!” Luna said excitedly, matching Ellie’s energy. “What have you been up to?”
“Soccer camp!”
“That’s awesome! Do you score a lot of goals?”
“Yeah! I kick it in super hard and it hits the net and we win!”
“You’re gonna be a soccer star! Great job. Give me a high five!”
Luna put up her hand and Ellie giggled.
“Luna! Good to see you.”
“Hey!” Luna waved at the couple. “Can I get a chicken satay with that super spicy chili sauce and Ina’s regular with no-”
“Snow peas.”
Again, Luna laughed at the hilarity of Ina’s pickiness. “Yep, she’s quite adamant about it.”
Luna played with Ellie as her order was being prepared. It was these short but meaningful interactions with little kids that fueled her love for medicine. She wanted to make a difference in their young lives. She wanted to help fight disease, find cures and keep kids happy.
Luna grabbed her takeout and found Ina sitting alone at the bar across the street. She had a pensive, reflective look on her face that Luna easily recognized as the same one she had first seen Ina with all those years ago.
“Hi.”
Ina turned around, slightly startled after being in the zone. Her heart melted as Luna gave her a quick peck on the forehead.
“Do you want to go back out there?”
Luna nodded and grabbed Ina’s hand, motioning her to leave and follow the seemingly endless parade.
Ina got off the barstool quickly. “Hold on, I’m gonna use the bathroom.”
Luna plopped herself on a bar stool, her eyes wandering around the establishment. She pulled out her phone and turned to the selfie camera, wanting to see if her makeup had lasted. She smiled at herself, happy that her bisexual flag was still intact along with all the glitter that accompanied it. Ina had really outdone herself on the makeup.
Just as she was putting her phone back, a young woman around her age tapped her shoulder. Like Luna, it was evident that she had just come from the parade. She wore a tie dye t-shirt and jean shorts that allowed her to sport the rainbow paint that adorned her legs. If that didn’t give it away, she had a rainbow flag draped across her shoulders as if it were a blanket.
“I won’t waste my bad, punny pickup lines on you, so I’ll be straight-forward. What’s your name?” she asked.
“Luna. And for the record, nothing about me is straight.”
The mysterious girl laughed a little too hard at the joke as she flashed her pearly white teeth. Was she flirting with her? Luna was extremely sociable, but when it came to if someone was flirting with her, she could never tell. She’d need it laid out bluntly to discover that someone was coming onto her.
“I’m Bianca. Nice to meet you.”
Someone behind Bianca cleared their throat. “Is it? Is it really?”
Bianca turned around and cowered while looking sheepishly at Ina green with jealousy, her arms crossed and staring intensely at her.
“Uh...”
“She,” Ina said as she waltzed over to Luna. “She’s with me.” She then wrapped her arms around Luna’s waist.
“Oh...uh...sorry,” Bianca said and she fumbled away back onto the street.
“You know she was hitting on you right?”
“But...I just told her my name.”
“Oh, Lu,” Ina chuckled. “I love you, but sometimes this is quite hilarious.”
Luna grumbled incoherently at Ina’s teasing.
“You know you’re mine right?” Ina whispered in Luna’s ear in the most sultry voice she could muster.
“Ina...”
Ina traced her finger around Luna’s jawline and placed a few gentle kisses along it.
“And did I tell you how beautiful you look today?”
Luna blushed again. “You say that every day.”
“And I’ll say it every day forever.”
“How do you always do that to me?”
“Do what exactly, my love?”
“Get your head out of the gutter,” Luna laughed. “Make me swoon over and over again.”
“I just say cheesy things with my very smouldery voice in your ear. Gets you every time.”
“Ina...you know damn well that I’m a sucker to that voice.”
“Come on, let’s get out of here.”
Luna followed Ina out of the bar and onto the overpacked streets. The two marched down with the crowd, taking funny pictures at all angles. At some point, Luna picked up a mini rainbow flag and waved it around as if it were her most prized possession.
They were just outside a small store where a rainbow flag hung proudly and Luna saw a few more inside the store.
“Hold on, I’m gonna get you something.”
“Lu, I don’t need anything. Just be here with me.”
But Luna had already wandered inside the store. She bought the flag and met Ina at the entrance.
“Close your eyes.”
Ina did as she was told and Luna wrapped the flag around her.
“Ta-da!”
Instantly, the two were brought closer together and Ina smirked. “Thank you. I’m going to hang this in the living room,” she whispered against her and Luna looked up to meet Ina’s lips. They melted together, slowly feeling that the world was disappearing around them. Luna could feel Ina smiling against her lips as she finally pulled away to catch her breath.
“That was...”
“Wonderful,” Ina concluded. “Thank you for taking me here, Luna. I see I’ve been missing out on a lot.”
Ina wasn’t the only one having a great time. The lively ambience of not only the parade, but the street and city could be felt by every New Yorker. Pride always brought out a spontaneous, lively energy that reverberated throughout the community. No one could truly feel weighed down when the streets were flocked with people celebrating themselves. It was quite the scene to watch and partake in.
Ina stepped onto the pavement, wanting to absorb her surroundings. The vast amount of flags being flown was all-consuming. Not only rainbow ones, but those that represented so many more of the community. Almost every person that passed by had some sort of colorful decor, either on their clothing or plastered on by paint or makeup. Cheers echoed throughout the city’s back alleys, them too hearing the cries of happiness, joy and pride.
This is all she had ever wanted.
The love, acceptance and support of other people that not only acknowledged who she was, but embraced and cherished it. And what better way to spend it than with Luna.
“Ina?” Luna asked, her voice full of concern as she looked up to see Ina’s glazed eyes. “Are you-”
“Overwhelmed. But in the best way possible,” Ina said as she quickly dabbed at her eyes. “All my life I’ve been looking for a home. People who accept for who I am, even with my many, many flaws. People who don’t judge me on who I love, but rather my character and personality. And this Luna, this is who I am. I’m unapologetically attracted to women-”
“I know.”
With that, Ina let out a quiet laugh and shook her head. “There’s one woman in particular actually,”
“Really? Do tell, Doctor,” Luna smirked.
“Well she’s really smart. She loves kids and wants to be a doctor-”
“Pediatric neurosurgeon.”
“Excuse me. Yes, a pediatric neurosurgeon. She’s extremely witty and kind and funny and incredibly good looking. What more could a woman want?”
Luna grinned and stood on her tippy toes to reach Ina. Just as she leaned in, her stomach grumbled ferociously.
“Great. Way to ruin the moment, stomach.”
“Come on, let’s go home and eat,” Ina chuckled.
The two walked hand-in-hand until reaching the apartment. Sometimes Ina would stop in her tracks just to admire her girlfriend. While everyone else blended into the lively crowd, Luna always stood out to her, amplifying Ina’s very own love and happiness. Just by flipping her long, dark hair, Luna caught the attention of all the people nearby. It was in these moments where physical affection meant the world to Ina. She could show others that Luna was her girl and hers only.
“God, I’m starving,” Luna said as she sat her meal down on the dining room table.
The two sat across from each other, laughing endlessly about their adventures earlier that day.
“Swap?”
Luna nodded her head and she and Ina traded meals.
“God, how do you eat this! It’s burning!” Ina poured herself a glass of milk as she had discovered the spicy peanut sauce that accompanied Luna’s chicken satay. Ina’s spice tolerance was by far lower than Luna’s.
“I like the spice of life!”
Ina let out a quick breath, but Luna could still see a faint smile on her face. “You and your horrible puns. But I wouldn’t trade them for anything. I love you, Luna.”

@kwaj115 ignore this bc we all love your writing 🥰🥰 (even when you give us sad angst)
I do not like Your style of writing and you're not posting frequently. So who can I watch to read their fics?
Okay, first of all, I'm not posting frequently cuz I don't have time for that. Life gets in the way of writing and my writing style is delicious (u obvs just have bad taste). I just took up writing for fun. Second of all, bold of you to assume I give a fuck. If you don't like my style of writing, don't read it. Pretty simple. I don't know what you mean by who can I watch to read their fics. You can just search up the pairing you want to read and there will be a lot of writers that pop up.

Let me know if you want to be added or removed from the taglist.
Author’s Notes: I’m sorry! Yes, I know. I’m making everyone cry and I’m sorry about that. Or am I?- But anyways, don’t worry y’all. I’ll make it up to you with some fluff and smut after. I’m sorry, it’s hella long.
When Tal, Raven’s cousin, popped up to help Raven pack some of her stuff to take to his place, he and Callie shared a look. Callie didn’t say a word, knowing that Raven was too stubborn to change her mind.
Raven muttered thank you to Tal when he led her to the shower. They haven’t spoken since she was picked up. Tal starts to remember the last time Raven was so affected. He didn’t know what triggered Raven to act this way and why she was closing herself off. What made her relive the past?
*Beginning of Flashback*
“Yo Raven! What’s up dude?! I didn’t see you at football practice this morning.”
He placed a hand on Raven’s shoulder but quickly removed it when he saw her wince and clench her jaw.
“What happened?”
“Nothing. I’m fine, Tal.”
“I see bruises on your arms-“
Raven pulls her sleeves down, quickly checking herself over before levelling Tal with a glare.
“Let it go, Tal.”
Near the end of school, Raven got a call from her mother saying that she would have to spend the night with Jesse since she won’t be home for the rest of the day. Jesse was her cousin who was 3 years older than her. When Jesse picks Raven and Tal up from school, she notices the bruises near the back of Raven’s neck. Sharing a look with Tal, they decided not to bombard her with questions.
Dropping Tal off, Jesse was hesitant to ask Raven about the marks. Raven, sensing Jesse’s hesitation, speaks up.
“Go on, ask. I know you’re dying to say something about it.”
Jesse starts to drive, choosing her words wisely.
“Did you get into a fight at school or outside?”
Raven scoffs, taking a glance before she looks out the window.
“Yes, I did get into a fight but it was with my dad.”
It took every bit of Jesse’s willpower not to step on the brake in the middle of the road.
“What do you mean?”
Jesse knew what Raven was talking about. She hasn’t witnessed the bad temper of her father, Joshua, but she had an idea that Raven’s father was hurting her mother, Chandra, since they got together.
When Chandra announced to her father that she was dating Joshua, he was hesitant. He started to research Joshua and found that he was manipulative. He immediately tried to convince Chandra to break up with him but she refused to acknowledge the signs of how toxic Joshua is. By the time Chandra came to her senses, the damage was done. Raven was dragged into their problems and she faced the consequences.
“Papa got mad that I came home late. Mama yelled at him for locking me outside in the cold rain. He was going to hurt her so I jumped in and did my best to protect her.”
Jesse was speechless. She didn’t know what else to say.
“It’s fine, Jesse. You got a lot of stuff on your plate with medical school. Don’t worry about me.”
Jesse nearly swerved.
“Raven, whether I’m busy or not, I’m still here for you. You’re being hurt. Of course, I’ll worry about you.”
“Yeah, well, worrying is gonna be extra stress for you. It’s not going to change my situation.”
*End of Flashback*
Over the next few days, Raven barely ate unless Tal forced her to. Callie would either personally ask Ina for the missed classwork or the few classmates that respected Raven would share their notes and what she missed. Ina worried about Raven. Did she do something wrong? Did Raven not want to continue their relationship anymore?
When Raven walked into class, she sat near the back to avoid any interactions. Ina tried to encourage Raven to participate in class by asking her a question related to the question. At least she paid attention in class, Ina thought.
Raven managed to leave class without Ina blocking her, she nearly got caught. Raven broke down in Tal’s guest room, sitting on the cold floor. She was scared to tell Ina that she was in love with the woman.
“Raven...?”
She looked up to see Tal standing in the doorway. Raven wiped away any evidence of tears but it was too late, he already saw her. She sighed and waved for him to come in. He sat on the floor in front of Raven, waiting for her to speak. She tried to speak, only for it to come out as a whisper.
“I’m in love with Ina.”
Tal was shocked but managed to control his reaction. He heard from Raven about how she met Ina but the next day, she was her professor. His heart shattered when he saw the calm Raven he knew of start to break down in front of him.
“I shouldn’t be in love with her. She is so beautiful and intelligent. She could have anyone she wanted! I don’t want to burden her with me and my stupid problems. I’m thinking about transferring to a different school.”
Tal quickly pulled her into a hug, letting her cry into his chest. Moments passed, Raven’s sobs started to fade.
“I know you feel that way but in grandpa’s will, you have to finish your studies at Belvoire in order to get your inheritance.”
“I know but I don’t think I can handle it. I’m sorry, Tal. I need to be alone.”
He understood the request and got up to go on a walk outside. Raven stepped into the shower, fully clothed. She didn’t care. She fell to her knees, crying out. Pain shot through her. Pain that she should’ve felt years ago. Her thoughts threatened her.
“Look at you. So pathetic. Stupid of you to think you can avoid this feeling forever.”
“NO!”
Raven hit the floor of the shower as she spoke to herself.
“I can’t hurt her too! I don’t want to lose her! She deserves more than a worthless piece of shit like me!”
She screamed, not caring if anyone heard her. Letting the scorching water burn her but not feeling the pain.
With a hoarse voice, she tried to control her sobs.
“Mama… I’m sorry…”
*Beginning of Flashback*
Before she stepped into her home, she heard shouting.
“Go to hell, Joshua! Fuck! I should’ve listened to my father! I ignored the signs and Raven is paying for my consequences!”
“I don’t give a fuck!”
“Yeah, how could you? When you had a family on the side?! I was so blinded by my love that I didn’t notice this!”
Her father entered the living room with a bottle in hand with her mother following him. Raven was frozen, her body was unable to move.
“Then leave if you’re so bothered about it.”
“Leave, huh? Let me remind you of something. This house is under my name and it will soon be under Raven’s name.”
Her father paused, looking up with wide eyes.
“No..”
“Yes.”
She looked up and saw Raven but before she could say anything, her father lunged.
“You bitch!”
He tackled her to the floor. His hands immediately went to her neck, cutting off her airflow. Raven jumped into action, tackling him to the ground and jabbing a punch to his throat. She rolls off of him as he wheezes for air, grasping at his throat.
“Mama!”
Her mother attempted to get up but managed with Raven’s help. Her father gripped the table nearby and stood, speaking with his strained voice.
“You little shit! I’m gonna kill you!”
Raven stood her ground, standing in front of her mother.
“Mama, go.”
“No, absolutely not.”
Raven levelled her father with a glare as he looked around for something to hit her with. He gave up and threw a punch but was deflected by Raven. She tripped him and he fell with a heavy thump onto the floor. Raven tried to push her mother to move but she refused to. As she tried to convince her mother to leave, her father grabbed an empty beer bottle and slammed it over Raven’s head. Raven falls to her knees, gripping her head. She can feel the glass shards digging into her neck and shoulders. Her mother tries to help her but he slaps her, causing her to lose her balance and hit her head on the corner of the table. Raven can see from the corner of her eyes that her mother was struggling to keep her eyes open. She quickly crawls towards her, not paying attention to the burning of the carpet against her knees. Her father sighs and runs his hand through his messy hair.
“Fuck! People just love to piss me off, don’t they?!”
Raven tries to shake her mother to keep her eyes open and grabs her phone in her pocket. Through the blur of her tears, she called the ambulance and gave the address. Before she can state the problem, the phone was kicked out of her hand and she was grabbed by her collar.
“It can’t be under your name if you’re dead!”
Before he could stab her with the broken remains of the glass bottle, Raven pulled her head forward and smashed it into his nose. He let her go and held his bloody nose, swearing loudly. Raven pushed him back, making him knock over a lamp. Raven felt rage, all she saw was white. She kicked his crotch which made him yell out in pain, holding his crotch and nose. Raven ran to her mother, checking on her.
“Mama, wake up please!”
Her mother’s eyes flutter open and she instantly frowns, reaching up to wipe away the tears on her face with a weak hand.
“I’m sorry, Mama. I broke my promise.”
“No, I’m sorry for dragging you into this.”
Raven couldn’t hear anything, she was pulled away from her mother by the paramedics while the officers restrained her father.
**At the hospital*
The doctor spoke with her uncle, half-listening to what he said about Raven.
“She is stable…. glass shards are removed….”
But tuned in when her mother was mentioned, looking up with wide eyes.
“She is in critical condition. She’s taken a major hit to her head and doesn’t have long. You may visit her one at a time until…”
Raven shot out of her assigned bed, regretting the excruciating pain that shoots to her head. Her aunt fusses over her, holding her up as Raven tries to find her balance.
“I need to see her.”
Her family shared worried glances at each other before her uncle finally nodded. Raven limped as fast as she could towards her mother’s room. Her heart broke when she saw tubes attached to her mother and her head wrapped in bandages.
“Mama…”
Her mother’s eyes flutter open, softening when she sees Raven. Waving her over with a frail hand, Raven walked towards her, tentatively. When she sat at the end of the bed, her mother rested her hand against Raven’s face, she leaned into the touch and held her hand there.
“I know I don’t have long and I’m sorry to leave-“
“No. You’re not going anywhere. You’re staying with me.”
“Raven, let me speak.”
Her mother gestured over to her belongings, instructing her to retrieve her necklace. Raven hands the necklace to her, delicately. Instead of taking it, she curled Raven’s hand into a gentle fist and placed her hand on top. Her mother’s eyes started to water, tears escaping.
“This was passed down for generations in our family. I wanted to give you this when you were older but I guess we need to do this now.”
She continued even when Raven tried to interrupt her.
“I want you..to give this to someone you truly love. I trust that you will make a better choice. Better than the choice I’ve made. But the best thing out of this marriage was you.”
Raven’s eyes teared up but she failed to hold any tears from falling.
“Mama, please don’t leave me.”
“I’m sorry…”
She slowly started to lose unconsciousness, struggling to keep her eyes open.
“I love you, Rae.”
“I love you too, Mama”
Her world crumbled when she saw her mother’s eyes close shut. Everything goes by as a blur, the incessant beeping from the monitors and the doctors pulling her away.
*End of Flashback*
Raven got out of the shower, shaking as she walked mindlessly to her room, creating paths of water behind her. She delicately got a jewelry box out of her duffel bag and opened it, her mother’s necklace placed neatly, untouched.

Ina x MC: A Visit from Aunt Flo
Summary: Raven and Ina get their period at the same time.
Warnings: None, just fluff, pouting Ina
Tag: @kulaykape @ikingsley @domakir @sheepmomther-personal @itsoverihavethehighground @barnibumblr @kaitlynliaofanxx @loyalshrimp @livvynka @alleycat97 @alccaddsccup @fundamentalromantic @blaine-hayes @rhonda-sayeed
Author’s Notes: I have to make it up to @kaitlynliaofanxx with fluff for all the angst I was making. I am too lazy to run away and make a new identity.
Ina woke up with a sharp, stabbing pain in her stomach causing her to groan. She tried to ignore the pain and go back to sleep but her eyes shot open. She nearly fell off the bed and ran to the bathroom.
“Great..”
She took out the box of pads while grumbling through the pain and trudged her way back to bed. She saw Raven on the opposite side of the bed and rolled over to hug her, only for Raven to fall out of bed, moving away from her.
“Raven! Are you okay? What’s wrong?”
Raven felt all sweaty and looked at Ina with wide eyes.
“Sorry, I got my period in the middle of the night. You know I sweat like crazy.”
Ina pouted, feeling hurt.
“Raven, I don’t care if you’re sweaty, just let me hug you!”
Ina made grabby motions which made Raven pause to admire how adorable Ina is when she acts like a child.
“I don’t know, Ina. I don’t want you to get all sweaty...”
“Come onnn! Please! It hurts.”
Raven remembered how painful Ina’s cramps can be whereas she didn’t feel pain at all, just the occasional pokes at the starting of her cycle. She looked at the time and realized that it was just past 9am and that they didn’t have work for the day. Raven climbed into bed, moving Ina that her back was to her chest. Raven wrapped an arm around her waist and drew circles on her stomach.
“Okay, you stay here. I’m gonna go make us breakfast.”
Raven started to get up from bed causing Ina to pull her back down and climb on top of her.
“No.” The sound of Ina’s voice was mumbled into Raven’s chest.
“You need to take care of yourself, Raven. You can’t be moving around.”
Raven looked down to see a pouting Ina, grabbing onto her shirt to keep her from moving. She held back a laugh before gently moving Ina off of her.
“Ina, I’m fine. I don’t feel any pain so I’m good.”
Ina whined and shoved her face back into the pillow, grumbling. Raven let out a laugh and walked into the kitchen, wondering about what she should make. A few seconds later, she could hear pattering on the floor and felt a pair of arms, along with a blanket, wrap around her.
“Ina, I’m sweaty. No hugs from behind.”
“I thought you like it from the back.”
Raven’s jaw dropped and she stutters, turning red easily.
“I forgot that you turn red easily on your period.” Ina smirks and waddles to the couch.
Raven comes back with a decent breakfast.
“Hey! How come you get coffee and I get tea?!”
“Drinking tea will help relieve some of the pain.”
Ina huffs but she continues to eat her breakfast.
“I wanna watch a movie now!”
Raven shouldn’t be shocked that Ina was acting like a child but it always catches her off guard since Ina is always so calm and composed. Raven took the dishes, grabbing some of Ina’s favourite snacks along with chocolate, and came back to a little bundle wrapped up in the thick blanket. Raven shakes the snack and Ina pokes her head out when she hears the ruffling noise. She throws it at her face when she sees Ina poke her head out. Ina huffs before throwing her a tiny glare with a pout.
“Since you brought me chocolate and Doritos, I’m gonna forgive you. You’ll get your punishment later.”
“Yeah, yeah. Come on, let’s go.”
Ina opens her arms, still clutching the blanket in her grip. Raven sighs and bends for Ina to climb onto her back for a piggy back. When they got to their bed, Raven drops Ina on top of it like a sack of potatoes.
“Hey, watch it!”
“Sorry, your Highness.”
Raven grabbed her laptop before they started looking for a movie. Ina spoke up, grabbing the laptop from her.
“Can we watch Wall-E?!”
Raven snickered and nodded. They got into a comfortable position with their snacks as the movie began to play. As the movie played, Raven started to shuffle around, trying to get out of Ina’s tight hold and turn on a fan nearby. Ina got frustrated and paused the movie.
“What are you doing?”
“I just need to on the fan, I’m sweating pretty heavily with all the blankets you have wrapped around us plus your body heat.”
Ina’s bottom lip started to tremble.
“Do you not love me anymore?”
“What-“
“Is it because I’m getting too boring for you?”
“No-“
“Raven, why would you do this to me?!”
Raven quickly switched the fan on before running to hold Ina’s face in her hands.
“Ina, no. I love you and only you. There is no one else and there will never be anyone else. Okay? Do you understand?”
Ina nodded her head, hesitantly. The movement made Raven lean forward and she peppered kisses all over Ina’s face, taking her time on the scar underneath her bottom lip. They continued the movie with Ina clinging to Raven. As the movie came to the end, with the robots confessing their feelings, Raven heard a sniffle. She saw Ina crying, the tears soaking into her shirt.
“They finally got together.. Eva realized her feelings for Wall-E..”
Raven rubbed small circles, looking forward with no expression. She slowly held her hand up and did her best robot impression.
“Waaaallll-EEEE”
Ina sputters and lets out a small laugh before linking her hand with Raven’s. She looked and at the same time, Raven drops her act and gives her kiss. Ina sighs softly before falling back into Raven’s chest. They held each other for a couple of moments in silence until Raven heard soft snores coming from the other figure. She places her laptop on the floor before moving Ina onto her back and slips away, quietly. Raven returns with a heating pad to Ina laying like a starfish in the middle of the bed. She grabs her phone and snaps a picture before gently placing the heating pad onto Ina’s stomach. Raven manages to move Ina’s limbs out of the way without bothering her, after many tries.
Ina wakes up a few hours later. She sees the sunset setting and looks to her side that had a sleeping Raven with an arm wrapped around her waist. Ina grazed her fingers over the heating pad, that has begun to cool down, laying on her stomach. She smirks and whispers to herself.
“Now, this is wife material right here.”

daniel is a treasure 🥰🥰
Can you post the fic you talked about where it's mostly about Alicia and Daniel? 🥺🥺 Pretty plz?
I'm sure theres a lot of people who love Daniel as much as I do 😭❤️
Just for you, anon.
Ina x MC- Daniel's Adventure
"How are you feeling, mi amor?" Ina sat down on the edge of the bed next to Alicia, planting a kiss on her forehead to feel her temperature. "You don't have a fever at least..."
Alicia opened her eyes slowly. She had woken up that day with a massive headache, and now, at 6pm, she wasn't any better.
"I'm not feeling very good. I still have the headache." She said, wrapping her arms around Ina's waist and snuggling closer to her.
"Do you want to eat something?" Ina asked, giving Alicia several little kisses on the top of her head while she stroke her hair gently. "Maybe your chocolate muffins? I can go to the store and buy some, if you want."
"Please?" She replied, looking at Ina with puppy eyes. "But don't take too long."
Ina let out a small chuckle.
"I promise I'll be back soon."
"Mommy? How are you?"
A small head poked out of the door and Daniel entered the room followed by Dug. He walked towards his mothers and climbed on the bed, crawling to them.
"Hello there, little warrior." Alicia greeted him, lifting her arm to give her son a fist bump.
"Mommy isn't feeling very well, Daniel. I'm going out to buy something. Will you take care of her while I'm gone?" Ina asked.
"Yes! Me and Dug will help Mommy!" The kid said enthusiastically.
With one last kiss on Alicia's forehead, Ina left the room and the house to go to the store, leaving her son and wife alone in the bedroom.
"How can we help you, Mommy?" Daniel asked, sitting on his knees.
"I'm a little thirsty..."
"I'll get you some water!" He said, already getting down off the bed to go to the kitchen.
"And could you bring me some medicine too? It's in the bathroom. In the cabinet next to the mirror. The left one."
"Left?" He asked innocently, tilting his head to the side.
"...Do you know where the toothbrush is?"
"Yes!" He replied with a little jump and his usual big smile.
"Well, next to the toothbrush there's a small box with an orange line. Bring me that, please."
"Okay!" Daniel said saluting like a soldier "Let's go, sergeant Dug!"
And with that, he ran out of the room with the dog following close behind, towards the bathroom first, humming Sonic's opening song.
Once he got there, he encountered a little obstacle, he was too short to reach the cabinet. Daniel lifted his hand to brush a nonexistent beard on his chin, just like his grandfather always did when he was deep in thought.
"Hmmm. We have a problem, sergeant Dug. How do we get up there?"
He took a quick look around and started to search the cabinets under the sink.
"Hmm... This? No... Maybe this? Nope... Huh? What is this?"
He got distracted by a weird item he found there. It was a metallic, black object with a cable attached to it. A hair dryer. He investigated every part of it with curiosity.
"Oh, I know! This is what Mama and Mommy use when they want to brush their hair! Aahh!"
He accidentally turned it on when the item was aiming at his face. Hot air blowed his hair with force while he tried to find the off button to turn it off.
"Oh, no! I didn't want to brush my hair!" He said, running a hand through his head to fix his hair the way he likes it before leaving the object back on its place.
At that moment, Dug appeared through the door with a little chair in his mouth. While Daniel was occupied with the hair dryer, the dog had gone out to find the solution to the problem.
"Ah, yes! Thank you Dug!"
With the chair, the little boy stood on his tiptoes and was able to reach the cabinet and take the medicine. Now, with the small box on his hand, he headed to the kitchen to get some water for his mother. Using the same method he used in the bathroom, he moved one of the dining chairs to take a glass and reach the sink.
"...What's 'left'?" He wondered while the glass was filling and got distracted again. "I like it! It sounds like cand- Oh, no, the water!" The glass was almost full. A little more and it would have spilled everywhere. "Phew! Almost!"
With both things in hand, Daniel returned to the bedroom with Alicia. He stood proud next to the bed, offering the glass of water to his mother.
"Here it is, Mommy!" He said, but Alicia didn't answer. "Mommy? Mommy!" He yelled.
"Hmm!? What!? What happened!?" Daniel's voice woke Alicia up, who had fallen asleep while the boy was on his adventure.
"Here's your water, Mommy! And... Hey!"
Alicia took the glass suddenly from his son's hand and swallowed every drop of water in one go.
"Can you bring more?"
"More water!?" Daniel asked dramatically.
"Please?" She smiled at him and Daniel saluted again.
"Yes, Captain! I'll come back soon, Mommy!"
...
Ten minutes later, the door of the house opened and Ina came back from the store. She left the bag on the kitchen counter and went straight to the bedroom.
"Daniel? Alicia? I'm back, how are you-"
She stopped in her tracks when she went into her bedroom and saw her wife, son and dog sleeping peacefully on the bed. Daniel was cuddled up to his mother's side, his head resting on Alicia's shoulder with her arm wrapped around him. With a tender smile on her face, Ina approached carefully to not wake them up and placed a light kiss first on Alicia's forehead, and then on Daniel's.
"Sleep well, my angels." She whispered before getting out of the room to let them rest.
The end.

Author’s Notes: Another installment of Ina and Luna’s future series.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Inaaaaaa,” Luna whined.
“Yes?” Ina replied to Luna after quietly whispering into the taxi driver’s ear.
“Where are we going?”
“You’ll see. I promise you’ll like it.”
“So for our dating anniversary, you get to decide on the place without even consulting me? Talk about a power imbalance,” Luna said playfully.
This goddamn woman. Sometimes Ina thought Luna liked teasing her more than she loved her.
“Fine,” Ina huffed. “Do you want to know where we’re going?”
“No! I like the surprise.”
Maddening. Infuriating. Yet after everything, she was still wrapped around her finger.
“You’re something else, aren’t you Lu?”
“I pride myself in being ‘something else.’ You still love me.”
“That, I do.”
A semblance of silence took over the taxi, a first after a whole car ride of playful banter between the women. Instead, the busy outside cacophony took over...a truck horn here, a driver cursing out a pedestrian there...
“We’re here,” the taxi driver announced.
Ina quickly thanked him and left a generous tip on the app. No one deliberately signed up for meddling in the business of a couple in love. Luna reached for the cab door, but was promptly stopped by Ina.
“Nuh-uh. Wait a second.”
Ina hopped out of the car and rushed to the other side of the cab to open Luna’s door. Despite being cursed at by drivers behind her as she held up traffic, she maintained her calm. There were bigger, more important things than a little traffic holdup, especially today.
“You know, you don’t need to be all formal and chivalrous and whatnot,” Luna said as she took Ina’s hand to get out of the car.
“Believe it or not, that was not my intention. I actually am here to cover your eyes before you see your destination.”
Ina felt Luna roll her eyes.
“Always with the ulterior motives, huh?” Luna jested.
This time, it was Ina’s turn to play coy. “Maybe, but you love me regardless.”
“I do.”
The two walked a few hundred feet, Ina behind Luna to shield the world from her. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for that woman. Ina vowed to protect her at all costs, cherish her, appreciate her, love her endlessly...It’d only been a year since Ina finally had asked her officially to be with her, but somehow, Ina knew. Ina knew that this was the woman of her dreams, someone she would happily spend the rest of her life with. However, they hadn’t had the marriage conversation yet. Hell, they hadn’t even moved in together yet. She knew Luna wanted to get married, but that would be one day. Sometime in the distant future. Luna was considerably younger than Ina, and Ina accepted the fact that she may have to wait several years to pop the question. She’d figured that she’d wait decades to tie the knot if it had come to that.
“Okay. We’re here,” Ina said, uncovering Luna’s eyes.
“Ina, you did not.”
“I did.”
“I’ve been wanting to do laser tag forever!”
“Well, I had run out of excuses. I figured it was time for me to try it by now.”
Ina took Luna’s hand and led her into the laser tag arena. God, this was so childish, she thought.
“What exactly is that face?” Luna said slyly, smirking up at Ina.
“What? This gorgeous face you fell in love with?” Ina countered.
“It’s a ‘wow Luna, I can’t believe I’m doing this’ face.”
“Well, I wouldn’t say I would’ve come here on my own will.”
“Just keep an open mind. Maybe you’ll like it, who knows?”
“I will. I promise.”
Soon, the two were placed into a larger group. They decided to be on opposite teams just so one could have bragging rights. After a few minutes of Luna’s trash-talking, they were separated into their respective teams. Luna smirked over at Ina as the doors opened to the terrain. Game on.
~
The siren blared over the speakers system, indicating the start of the battle. Ina was situated near the back of the arena, her back crouched against the wall. She knew Luna - she would definitely come looking for her. Luna was too competitive for her own good and she’d be lured to find Ina quickly.
Sure enough, two minutes into the round, Luna lurked near the back where Ina was hiding. She thought she was being discrete, silently searching for partner. Just as she reached the back wall, her vest lit up and an alarm went off.
Crap!
She slowly turned around, only to find Ina smirking at her.
“Gotcha. See you later,” Ina winked at Luna as she slipped back into the darkness.
I’m gonna get her, Luna vowed.
The game progressed with both teams neck and neck in score. A minute flashed on the countdown. Ina then spotted Luna. Just as she was raising her laser gun, Luna put her finger on the trigger.
“Wait!”
And somehow, despite the room full of people, Luna and Ina felt like the only people in the world.
“Truce?” Luna called out.
“Truce.” The countdown slowly approached the thirty second mark and Luna made her way to Ina. She wrapped an arm around Luna, gently kissing her temple.
“Good game,” Ina began to whisper softly into her ear. “I totally got you at the beginning though.”
5...4...3...
Luna wrapped Ina in her arms placing a small kiss in her forehead.
2...1....
Suddenly, she pulled away. At once, Ina’s vest lit up. She looked around, expecting some stranger to have hit her, but was met by Luna’s gaze.
“You...” she grumbled.
“And I totally got you at the end. Oh look who won!” Luna smirked and pointed at the scoreboard. Luna’s sly shot had boosted her own team 100 points higher than Ina’s.
Ina grumbled again in response. “I suppose, but I think it’s rather symbolic.”
And symbolic it was. They were situated in a room full of obstacles, yet somehow fate, destiny, the universe or some higher, inexplicable being had brought them together. It represented that they’d always find each other somehow, and in the end, it would always be them against the world.
Luna quietly reflected on Ina’s words, understanding how their relationship had come to fruition. They slipped out of the laser tag arena and Luna looped her slender arm around Ina’s.
“It’s my turn to give you your anniversary present,” Luna said.
She dragged Ina across New York City, walking past their favorite places...Times Square, the Natural History Museum, Central Park...Ina lingered at each site, remembering dates they had gone on. All of those small, but wonderful moments had led up to this.
“Okay so we’ve only talked about this a little bit but I think we’re ready for it,” Luna turned back to Ina as she walked backwards. She promptly stopped in front of a small building and held her hands out in presentation.
“Here we are!”
“Your apartment?”
“Yeah! Hold out your hands.”
Ina put her hands out as if she were accepting something when she saw Luna go frozen.
Physically Luna was frozen, but her thoughts moved a mile a minute. Yes, she loved Ina. Yes, she had been the one that took her back to her apartment. Yes, she’d stop at nothing until she was happy. But oh god. Commitment was staring her point blank in the face. Moving in together was a huge milestone.
Their relationship was good - the best Luna had ever been in. But her past relationships kept coming to mind. All the fights, all the deceptions, all the mistrust. Luna was unafraid of most things, but she did fear commitment.
“I-” she began.
Ina’s intuition kicked in and redirected her away from the entrance, leaning against the building.
“Hey. We don’t have to if you don’t want to. I’m ready for the next step in this relationship, but it’s our relationship and we need to both agree on its pace. I’m okay with waiting.”
“Thank you. It’s just all this stuff is new to me. I’ve never been in a relationship this serious and I’ve never gotten this far. I was just a hormonal kid in my past relationships - all I cared about was having fun,” she admitted. “And Ina...I’m scared. I trust and love you with all of my heart, but I’m still scared. I’m scared you’ll find a part of me you don’t like and you’ll want out. I’m scared you fell in love with someone who you think is me, but isn’t truly me.”
Luna looked up with tears in her eyes. These were the kind of conversations the two held curled up together in bed, admitting things they’d never even attempted to say aloud before. They built their relationship on love, but also on trust. They’d taken everything with caution. It was these intimate moments that carved their relationship into the one it was today.
“Do you understand what-”
“I know exactly what you mean,” Ina said as she wiped tears away from Luna’s eyes. “For a long time I only focused on my career. My love life always came second. I always wanted to be that youngster at a convention full of well-seasoned anthropologists. At least, that’s what I told myself. I blocked out the very possibility that the true reason I didn’t want a love life may be because of my parents. People who are supposed to love you unconditionally didn’t love Lilian and I like they should’ve. I was so afraid of yet another betrayal. But then I found you. And everything’s just clicked. I don’t have to pretend to be anyone I’m not with you. And I love you for many reasons, but that may be the most prominent.”
And after hearing a sweet and soft declaration of love from Luna, Ina met her girlfriend’s lips. It was then and there that Luna truly understood how much Ina cared for her. That Ina was different from the young, immature men and women from her past. That she’d finally found someone good. Someone who appreciated her. Someone who comforted her. Someone who protected her at all costs.
“I’m ready.”
“Are you sure? Seriously Luna, this is a big deal. I understand if you want to wait more.”
“I’m sure. For a while now, I’ve dreaded having to come back to my own apartment alone after spending the day at yours. I want this with you. I admit I’m a bit afraid, but that feeling is no where near the feeling that I want to live with you.”
Luna dropped a pair of keys in Ina’s hands as the two rode the elevator up to Luna’s apartment.
“I’m worried, Luna.”
“What’s on your mind?”
“You don’t expect me to live in this shack, right?”
“It is NOT a shack. It is my lovely one-bedroom apartment which is what I could afford in this ungodly costly city after my Belvoire graduation.” Luna giggled as she perched her chin on Ina’s shoulder. “No, silly. It was symbolic. We’re definitely moving into your place.”
“Good. Let’s start packing this place up.”
