My awesome husband totally earned the “Totally Awesome Life-Changer” badge! A couple years ago I made him sign up for the bone marrow donor registry and he was recently called as a match for someone battling blood cancer. Season 4 Episode 15 - Veterans Day

Confession Time: I had never seen this episode before. This was my first time watching it, so I was pretty excited to see it…and it delivered. It was a solid, solid Hey Arnold! episode that features guns and blood and Nazis (with the frowny faces replacing the swastikas, very clever) and poignancy and warmth and humor and all the good things that the really solid episodes of Hey Arnold! have.

That being said, they did drive directly into DC. This was in an age where a GPS was a luxury and paper maps ruled. I have the former on my phone and even then, I avoid driving in DC like the plague, especially down by the Mall and the monuments. RIP Grandpa’s sanity trying to get out of town.

Next comes *the* episode: Helga on the Couch. Because of the scale of what I’m planning and with the holidays coming up as I write this post in mid-December, the actual entry for the episode will be in a month. During that time, I’m going to run, in plot order, all of those extra drawings from Helga on the Couch I did early on. So enjoy the reruns and I’ll see you with new content in a month!
