A Little/Middle/Sub PSA

All subs are different, because all people are different. Just like all kiddos are different, in the cg/l community, all littles/middles are different. Sure, some of us are small or dainty, some like glitter, rainbows, unicorns, tutus, tiaras, everything pink and soft, easy bake ovens, and have a million stuffies. And that’s super! But I also don’t see enough representation of those who would rather have legos or a chemistry set, who are big (chubby, fat, tall, whatever), who don’t have perfect skin, that have just one special stuffie, or like catching bugs, or run around with dirt under our nails and bruises on our legs, or want daddy/mommy to tell them about the planets one more time before bed so they can dream about the stars. I want to see more of us 💕

Storyville - Defying the Cutting Season

Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) has been illegal in Tanzania since 1998. But every year thousands of families still plan to have their daughters cut, an ordeal that could cost them their lives. The ‘Cutting Season’ takes place during the December school holidays.

During this time hundreds of girls are saved from FGM by the police, the government and the work of the Safe House. It is run by Rhobi Samwelly, who was herself a victim of FGM, and now, not only does she valiantly run the safe house but she also works with the local police to rescue and protect girls at risk while arresting the parents and cutters.

But they have a tough and dangerous job and old customs die hard. Men believe that girls must be cut to reduce promiscuity and cut girls command twice the bride price in cows as uncut girls. Girls like Rosie, just 12 years old, have had to make the most difficult choices of their young lives - run away from home, not knowing if they will ever see their families again, or submit to female genital mutilation and child marriage.

These brave and courageous young girls are fighting against a tradition that goes back thousands of years. They are standing up for their human rights and fighting for change in their community.

The Safe House is the one safe place they can escape to.

Crucial Updates (November 3, 10:16 PM US Mountain Time)

A lot has transpired today - especially within the last hour or so. While we received good news, there is some...worrisome news, so I need everyone to closely pay attention to this update and future ones; like even closer than you have been because we’re approaching another incline.

I’ll begin with the good news:

Starship Ent. released an official statement discussing the situations at hand. I’ve made two posts - one an update about the post, itself, that can be found here, and the other explaining what the letter meant here.

Campaigns are underway and I’ve made posts about them here.

In addition, we’ve added a new campaign created by @thoughtsfromaclutteredbrain titled Bunnies for Wonho. The (very lovely) posters containing all of the information you need to know are right here:

Now, we’re going into some...not lovely news, so please try your best to not get discouraged, okay? We’ve already overcome the impossible; this can be a simple feat.

In regards to recent events, Shownu’s name is still trending on major Korean sites and this information is coming straight from K-MBB, themselves.

From my understanding, if we do not clear the searches, things will worsen not just for Shownu, but MX as a whole. If this gets too out of hand, Starship could possibly end up backing out of everything, opting to send Shownu into the military early, and then the fate of MX could be up in the air.

I promise I’m not trying to alarm anyone or make anyone worried, but this is serious, so we need to clear the searches.

These are the instructions that I have seen:

Ultimately, what this means is if you click on the trends that are below his name and stay on them for 30 seconds before going onto another one, it will boost their trend higher and higher until his name is completely drowned out of the trending searches. As you can see in the screenshot, if you relay this information, please avoid spelling out N*ver and his name.

I have been kindly asked if I can make a tutorial on how to navigate the site, so while I don’t understand Korean as fluently as I’d like to, I will try my best. I will create it and post it sometime tomorrow, but in the meantime, please try to clear them as best as you can.
