Story Time:
I’ve been helping a friend of mine navigate this whole “new crush” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a RIDE. This girl? Absolute goddess. The kind of woman who walks into a room and suddenly the whole atmosphere shifts. You know, the type that makes people forget words and start sweating for no reason. And yet… here we are.
Her crush? He’s… well, let’s just say he’s nowhere near her level in any way, shape, or form. And yes i don't mean it in just the physical aspects but personality and nature wise as well. But guess who’s walking around acting like he's doing her a favor? Yeah, him. This guy has the audacity to have an attitude like he's some kind of prize, and it honestly baffles me. But, fine, whatever. What really gets under my skin is the way he’s been behaving lately. We’re at the point where it’s obvious he’s ghosting us, and she has been nothing but an absolute delight through all of this.
But here's the kicker - ghosting. Is this really necessary? Like, why? If you’re not feeling it, just say it. Why are we still playing these childish games? Why is it so hard for people to be direct? It’s just so disrespectful, honestly. People act like ghosting is some kind of “soft” rejection, but it’s just cruel. All it does is play with someone’s emotions and leave them questioning their worth.
And let’s be real, it’s not even about “keeping things casual.” Ghosting is a cowardly move, plain and simple. The people who do this? I’ve noticed they’re often the ones who can't handle their own insecurities and have zero regard for how their actions affect someone else. It’s all about protecting their fragile ego while leaving someone else to pick up the emotional pieces. And you know what? I’m over it. It's 2025, grow the fuck up. If you don’t want to be with someone, just say it and move on. Don’t make it a damn mind game.
It makes me furious, not just for her, but for anyone who has to deal with this BS. It’s not just about being “too good for him,” it’s about basic decency. And apparently, that’s too much to ask.
Modern day dating sucks!

Hey there,
So, I’m new to Tumblr, and I’m sure you’re wondering why I chose the name Iksha.
Well, to be honest, it’s a bit of a personal thing. It’s a rearranged version of my name, with some letters jumbled around. It might seem random, but for me, it represents clarity and vision, both literal and metaphorical.
I’m not exactly sold on the whole Tumblr thing yet, but my brother convinced me to give it a shot, so here I am. I guess I’m just looking for a space to think, reflect, and make sense of the fragments of my thoughts.
I’m here to focus on what’s important, block out the noise, and hopefully find some clarity along the way. So, let’s see how this goes.
