Enter the town of STATIC…

ONE DAY it just appeared, a town full of characters who, at one time, could only be seen through a television screen. Unsure of what to do, the characters began to divide into different communities, each with their own ideas of how to run their new home which they decided to call Static.

The thing is, people are becoming violent and isolated. Some friends and families have been separated and pinned against each other. Will the fire sizzle out or will Static be thrown into a full blown war? Will you stand and fight for your new home or throw it all away for your old life?       

                          Only you can decide your fate. 

Through the Static is a semi-literate, closed group, slice of life, KRP that accepts any FCs of Asian descent.

Sora’s eyebrows shot up. She had to be kidding. LUV’s Kiko was one of the prettiest idols in the industry according to the trainee. “Unnie! Thank you but I am not if I am compare to you. I don’t think anyone compare to you.”

kiko was, admittedly, a little thrown by the sudden compliment and she shook her head, small hands coming up to cover her suddenly red cheeks. “you’re the pretty one here, not me.”

“Shit!” Sora called out in English as she watched the small bunny figurine fall to the floor of their dorm. The dust on the wood rose slightly as it broke into three separate pieces. The trainee looked up at her newest roommate before dropping to her knees to inspect the issue at hand. “Unnie! This is Minhee’s. She will be sad it’s broken...” Sora didn’t really see who hit the shelf, maybe they both did, but that didn’t matter right now. She knew their other roommate wouldn’t be angry but surely she wouldn’t be stoked to have her things broken.

She was swaying lightly as the slow song played, she really wanted to dance to it, dance to it with someone, but instead stood by the edge. But it was probably safer on the edge anyways. “Elizabeth?” Zoey had to question a little taken back for a moment at the other costume until she realized just what the other was. She was amazed, it was such a good idea.” Ah, I’m having a great time!” She sips on her drink before speaking again, “You’re the girl from Kim possible right? that was such a good show.”

“Yeah. Only like half the people here know who this is though. Oh, well. You know, costumes is not expensive when you ship from China to Korea instead of China to Canada? I’m lucky.” Zoey and Elizabeth didn’t really hang out at Halloween as kids so it was kind of nice to see the other girl all dressed up for the occasion.

he’s not a big fan of parties, especially not parties of this level, but he can’t deny that it was an experience he wanted to miss out on every year. being able to sit along side his idols, aka heaven, moon kibum & choi hoseok, in such a casual environment was like an early birthday present to him. looking over to the person who sat beside him, he gave a small smile at the sight of a fellow trainee. ❛ yeah… but it’s okay. they played two heaven songs earlier so i’m not complaining much. ❜ his expression changed to confusion at her last words, his head tilting slightly just to emphasize it. did she not know what a vampire is? ❛ not specifically a character, just a vampire. nothing too big. i like your shego costume, though. ❜

“Ah, thank you. Not a lot of people know what I am. I think it is not as known here as in the west.” She smiled at the other politely. “Your costume is good though. It does not take time to put together and you can dance in it and look good and stuff. You’re lucky that Heaven is at parties with you, you know. Very many fans would not get the close and personal that you do get.”

“Sunbae!” That’s what she was now. Fun, huh? “You look so cool. I love Batgirl. How is you? How is Princess going?” The trainee spoke with a smile on her face. She didn’t want to be bitter. She didn’t want to be bitter. She wasn’t in that group. Their loss. Sora wouldn’t have fainted like Byeol or had a scandal like Euna...Whatever. Selfish thoughts.

“You okay?” Sora raised an eyebrow at the girl next to her. She looked a little sick. Maybe it was the loud music or maybe she had too much to drink or maybe she was just tired. The trainee tapped her shoulder lightly with a black gloved finger. “You look off a little. Do you want some water? I can get water.”

Elizabeth leaned against a pillar and admired the chandelier above. A slow song played through the blaring speakers and the lights tinted a magenta hue. Time to be a wallflower. After a minute or so, Sora noticed her old friend Zoey standing just feet away. She made her way over with a smile on her lips, painted black, almost unrecognizable. “Zoey-ah! You look very cute in the costume. It is you very. Are you enjoying yourself so far?”

definition: Sora’s time in corporal punishment 

She hadn’t even heard about the fight. Why the hell did she have to be here? Unfortunately, it was inevitable and there was no way out of it...

      A collection of groans fills the room as they are shouted at. Still, no one refuses to fall to the floor of the smooth, hard tiles which line the Galaxy floor. Instructors that usually had kind faces stared down at the trainees and leaned against the walls, arms crossed. 

      Sora sucked in a breath as the cold tiles make contact with her knees. What a bad day to be wearing a skirt. She hadn’t walked into the room with any friends so she wasn’t sitting next to anyone she knew well. This was something of a blessing since she wasn’t distracted. Other trainees who were close sometimes whispered at each other only to be scolded. Particular people were called out for knowing about the fight and not saying anything. Sora was thankful that she was not among them.

     One hour was a long time to be taken out of a busy schedule. Elizabeth Bae knew she’d have to make time pass. What could she do though? The trainee tried looking at those around her and writing little biographies for them in her head. Kwon Yeji. Little sister of Queen member Risa. Really pretty but kind of weird...fake maybe? She didn’t know her well enough to tell. Bae Minhee. Roommate. Only roommate since Eunah and Hana left. Adopted like her. Lee Minjae. He had EXTRA to work on didn’t he? Sucks for him...She was bored now. 

     What did Sora do when she was bored or passing time? She’d listen to music or sing. She obviously couldn’t do any of that here. So maybe she could just sing in her head? A few songs to pass the time. Maybe she could come up with little music videos for them. 

    One hour passed just as Elizabeth was playing Boombayah in her mind. She secretly was pretending she was in it too. Maybe she’d been lip-synching, no one seemed to notice. The trainees all got up. Sora was shocked at how numb her legs felt. She began to make small talk with the girl beside her about how much the whole thing sucked. Just fitting in as usual. She didn’t even know the girl.
