What is Web 3.0?
Wolfram (2010) stated that Web 3.0 is where the computer, rather than humans, generate new information. This is supported by Morris (2011) that integration of data is the basic foundation of Web 3.0, and by using metadata (a term used to describe data within data, which provides information about a item's content) imbedded in Websites, data can be converted into useful information, and be located, evaluated, stored or delivered by software programs designed to collect information based on the users’ interaction with the Web (known as Intelligent Agents (IA’s)).
Web 3.0 will be the future of technology and helps us to build communication and sources of information. The technology is aware of your doings because of the provided data and this data will be processed according to the needs of the user. The web is now curious about what information you want to gather and it will use it for you to locate similar characteristics and posts online. The use of the collected data will help the user to link similar data and retrieve user’s specific needs relevantly. Here in web 3.0, you will not have a hard time finding what you want to find even if your search is not exact, it will still produce possible searches that can be related to what limited knowledge you have.

Feature of Web 3.0
According to expert.ai blog, the feature of Web 3.0 are semantic web, artificial intelligence, 3D graphics, connectivity, and ubiquity. I will explain the uses of these features and what are the possible outcomes of future.
1. Semantic Web - The web 3.0 uses semantic web in order for them to provide data and information. The technology will process the provided data based on its own understanding. It improves the generating and sharing data as well as the way of providing services to the users. The search and the analyzation of the data is not about the way how it interprets or presented by the use of keyboards and numbers.
2. Artificial Intelligence - The interlinking data is now processed by web 3.0 and it is now possible for the computer to think and understand information like how humans think and move. Because of the improvement and increase of intelligence, the web can now access and harvest information that is based and relevant to the user’s interaction during the web experience.
3. 3D Graphics - Web 3.0 provides 3D experience and dimensional representation of geometric data. It is now possible for the users to access and locate the 3D visual of the different applications and servers. It is commonly used in websites and services such as video games, canvas, etc.
4. Connectivity - Users can now access different possible and relevant information. With the web 3.0, more opportunities and servers are now openly available because of the improvement and evolution of connectivity to another level.
5. Ubiquity - Contents here in web 3.0 can access by multiple applications that are connected to the web. The free services can access by different users using their free data and information that the user will provide.

Latest Trends
Convergence – Technological advancements of smartphones, LTE, cloud technologies, etc. It improves different uses of technology and provides greater uses of it such as viewing experiences and features.
Social Media - It is a web-based platform that enables us to connect and interact with one another. With the use of web 3.0, we can now easily search something and the advertisements and possible feeds in the future will be based and connected to what we searched. For example, TikTok became the fastest growing application or social media during 2020 and your feed is based on your behavior while using the application. It uses algorithm for you to have fun and watch videos according to what your preferences are as well as your liked videos.
Mobile Technologies - Mobile phones and applications are in demand now because of its convenience when it comes to using it inside and outside the house or other establishments. We do have millions of applications that can download here that uses web 3.0. The examples of applications are Grab services and Online shopping apps.

Online Safety, Security, Ethics, and Etiquettes.
Browser Hijacking -  occurs when unwanted software on an internet browser alters the activity of the browser. Internet browsers serve as the "window" to the internet, and people use them to search for information and either view it or interact with it. (us.norton.com)
Identity Theft -  are terms used to refer to all types of crime in which someone wrongfully obtains and uses another person's personal data in some way that involves fraud or deception, typically for economic gain. (justice.gov)
Malware -  are terms used to refer to all types of crime in which someone wrongfully obtains and uses another person's personal data in some way that involves fraud or deception, typically for economic gain. (csoonline.com)
Pharming -  a portmanteau of the words "phishing" and "farming", is a type of cybercrime very similar to phishing, where a website's traffic is manipulated and confidential information is stolen. (kaspersky.com)
Phishing -  is a method of trying to gather personal information using deceptive e-mails and websites. Here's what you need to know about this venerable, but increasingly sophisticated, form of cyber attack. (csoonline.com)
Spam - is any kind of unwanted, unsolicited digital communication, often an email, that gets sent out in bulk. Spam is a huge waste of time and resources. (malwarebytes.com)
Spyware -  can capture information like Web browsing habits, e-mail messages, usernames and passwords, and credit card information. If left unchecked, the software can transmit this data to another person's computer over the Internet. (techterms.com)
Trojan -  is a type of malware that is often disguised as legitimate software. Trojans can be employed by cyber-thieves and hackers trying to gain access to users' systems.  (kaspersky.com)
INSIGHTS: Many bad things can happen once we enter the world of the web. We do access a lot of sites as well as services and we’re unaware that we’re giving our confidential information to other people. Just like the ones mentioned above, those are the things that can happen to us when we’re not careful about accessing online services. We must examine what is and what should not be done online to prevent such incidents and protect our identity. Always remember not to just trust other people or technologies online especially if we don’t have enough knowledge and information about what services or applications we will use. Learn to look at preferred and reliable online sites and services.
