part two to Stranded !! This is the introduction post to readers new life, so if you have any blurbs you wanna see, shoot me an ask!
It had only been a few days since they brought you to their home planet. Of course, the others vehemently denied, but with the mother’s influence and explanation, they became… tolerant of your presence.
Of course, being brought onto a new planet where you were unfamiliar with the culture, people, and area (as well as the fact no one seemed too pleased with you), you were pretty stressed.
The mother, who you came to know as Ga'taya, could tell. You learned fast that they had very sensitive noses, and could practically smell your every thought. Okay maybe that was an exaggeration, but it truly felt like it. Atleast she was kind enough to remain by your side, easing most of your troubles… for the most part.
One thing you did come to enjoy was being able to take care of her son, the little thing was pretty cute. He had little nubs where his tusks had yet to grow in, his bright gold eyes peering up at you. You assumed the father wasn’t in the picture, mainly because of the absence of any other person in her abode.
Yet, you took care of her child, letting her have more time to do other things. Currently, you sat outside, legs crossed, watching the baby roll about on the ground. The soft chittering was almost soothing, warming your heart. Yautja babies weren’t too hard to take care of… of course until he got random bursts of energy. For a baby, he sure could swing those little fists.
A shadow casted over you, your head lifting from its lowered state to peer up at the person above you. “Ga’taya.” You greeted, a small smile rising onto your lips. You learned to smile with a closed mouth here, as showing your teeth made the poor woman cringe a little. You figured it was because… well… Xenomorphs had the same set of teeth as humans, obviously. It was probably just a little uncanny for them.
“Ooman.” She spoke, crouching down to your level. Despite this, she still towered over you, built like a boulder. Scary. “Bha’ta behaved?” She questioned, her fingers moving to the collar around your neck to turn it on once more. It was a translator, easier for her to talk to you through this way— human languages had too many sounds she struggled to replicate.
“Yeah, he’s been fixated on rolling around in the dirt for the past few minutes.” You spoke with a small laugh, trying not to squirm as her large hands practically engulfed your neck. “Good.” The translator sounded as she spoke in her language.
She stood, gesturing for you to follow. You climbed to your feet, crouching back down to pick up little Bha’ta. “He’s much larger than human babies.” You mumbled, leaning the babies body onto your shoulder for support. Ga’taya let out a rumble at this— her version of a laugh. “Go put him in his bed.”
You nodded, beelining for the babys cradle. You gently set him down, patting the top of his head. Thankfully, he didn’t fuss like usual, instead flopping over. “All settled.” You called out, turning to face her. Your body jumped slightly to be met immediately with her torso, the scales glistening up close.
“Good. I take you to bathe.” You could hardly make a noise as her hand settled between your shoulder blades, lightly pushing you. You knew she didnt mean any harm or to be forceful— this just helped you keep up with her long stride.
Thankfully, she only guided you to another part of the house. Part of you worried it’d be like some bath house— you didn’t like being around other Yautjas. I mean, it was awkward, knowing no one around you really liked you being there.
Ga’taya let go of your back, gesturing to the large tub in the floor, filled with steaming water. She was very… casual with the way she removed her loin cloth. You almost choked on your saliva, averting your gaze down to your tank top.
“You know, for humans this would be considered taboo.” You mumbled, pulling the shirt over your head, hesitant to strip down.
“You humans are odd. Are you scared of a little skin?” She chortled, climbing into the tub. You pushed your embarrassment to the back of your head, stripping down. You kicked aside your clothes, stepping into the tub. The water was hot for you, but you knew it was lukewarm for Ga’taya, meaning she was looking out for you, even over her own comfort. “Thank you.”
She watched you with curious eyes, scanning over your form. She was very… large and intimidating, and you weren’t used to this sort of stuff anyways. What did Yautja even talk about—? Hell, they probably didn’t even like small talk. “It’s no issue. You take care of Bha’ta. I take care of you.” She spoke her words carefully, making sure to speak formally so that the translator worked properly. You could always tell the difference from her inflection.
“You saved my life in a way, I do owe you.” You spoke, glancing down at the bubbling water.
“I did not save you. I took you.” She corrected, knowing that she could have dropped you off at Earth, or left you on that planet. She chose to keep you.
“If you knew how humans lived, you’d understand what I mean.” You chuckled, leaning back. There was a certain… sadness to your words that you recognized all too well. “I would’ve lived my entire life working for a company who couldn’t care if I died. If I had returned from my mission, i’d be in crippling life debt to them— lost assets. At least with you, I mean something.” You spoke, your voice fading off at the end. That sounded… cheesier and more intimate than you meant… god— you were a fool.
“I suppose I am generous. Could have kept you as a pet.” She teased, her words soothing your awkwardness. Although it was the robotic translator around your neck that spoke to you, you focused on the sounds that came from her throat, deep and soothing. Her language was… different, but it did sound nice.
“Would’ve been better than my old job.” You joked softly, your hand lightly swaying through the water to watch it ripple.
The silence was long and comfortable, before she finally rose. “Clean up well, human. I take you somewhere tomorrow.” She spoke, climbing out of the tub. You watched her dry off, leaving the room— and her small amount of clothes behind.
heres the second little blurb!! I plan on continuing this series for atleast a little longer, but please send asks of fun stuff to write as fillers between fic updates!! ♥️♥️♥️

Stranded
hello, here with a little concept story / short little idea!! hopefully you all enjoy it as i enjoyed the idea of it hehe. It’s not too long as i’m not really the best at writing longer fics, but id be down to do more oneshots about it in the future!
imagine this, being a scientist sent with military operatives to a foreign planet in search of alien specimens to bring back to study. Of course, things go awry when you realized that there was not only xenomorphs, but a smarter alien species as well. Specifically ones who liked to hunt.
Now imagine this, being a yautja mother, finally returning to the hunt after a period of downtime due to having recently given birth. Little did you know, your very young child had snuck aboard the ship. And by the time you found out it was too late, and that little toddler had gone waddling off somewhere on the planet. That leaves you with one livid yautja mother and two scared shitless yautja males (her hunting partners).
You had seen only brief glimpses of the alien that took out your team. Tall, long heads, completely black with long tails as well. Didnt help that you found out they had acidic blood due to your teammate having been splashed with it.
Of course, being the only scientist on the mission, you weren’t well equipped to defend yourself. So when you had the chance, you fled. Found a safe room and locked yourself inside for a moment to recollect yourself.
Thats when you heard it, a soft… chittering, a sound of distress. You crawled over to the cabinet, your hand slowly reaching out to pop it open. Inside, a small creature, alien— of course. It was small, skin resembled that of reptiles, and four small tusks growing in on its little mandibles.
You had never wanted to be a parent— terrified at the thought. But this creature seemed to evoke a parental instinct in you that most human babies didnt quite do.
“H-Hey, you’re alright little guy—“ You spoke, your voice soft and low, reaching out your hand cautiously. You used the same rules that you do when you approach a cat. Keep your voice low and gentle, reach out your hand with the back of it facing upwards, make yourself seem small, and wait— do not approach.
Surely enough, the small creature came crawling out of the cupboard and latched its small hand onto the fabric of your pants. Shit— dealing with a xenomorph was already bad enough, but now you had a baby to protect as well.
“Okay little bud— i’m gonna get you back to your parents, lets just get you somewhere safe.” You slung off your backpack, emptying out most of the contents. You unzipped the bag, hoping the creature would get the memo— unfortunately you didnt exactly have a baby carrier on you. Thankfully, it seemed smart enough to crawl inside. You zipped up the bag just enough to where it wouldnt fall out, but had plenty of air. Slinging it onto your shoulders wasnt an issue— the child was heavy, but nothing too restricting.
Grabbing your gun, you pushed yourself to your feet shakily. Thankfully, as far as you were aware, there was only one xenomorph to take care of. Your teammates had atleast done some work— and you knew bullets could take these things out. You just had to maintain distance, and be cautious. The damn things were sneaky.
You pressed your ear against the door, listening for a moment. When you were sure it was clear, you opened the door, stepping out. You had to get back to your ship— that was your main priority. However, you couldn’t let your coworkers see the alien baby— you couldn’t risk the child falling into the hands of weyland-yutani officials. God knows what they’d do to it.
Breathing out a sigh, you pushed onwards, your objective shifting from finding your ship to finding any trace of this aliens parents. A ship, a person, a skeleton, anything. Just so you knew what you’d have to do next.
Traversing the halls was the most scared you’ve ever been in your whole damn life. Knowing that creature was out there somewhere— you’d honestly rather take your chances with a bear or something that was atleast familiar. However, you really didn’t have a choice anymore— it wasn’t about you.
The halls almost seemed dead silent, the occasional creaks of the building setting you off. It was atleast somewhat familiar, following the same structural rules that all human colony buildings do. Maybe if you were to get outside it’d be better— there wouldn’t be any hiding places for you or that damned creature.
Weaving your way through the halls, you made your way to the exit. There werent any corpses around— you realized. Only the occasional smear of blood, old and new. Swallowing thickly, you finally pressed the button to open the door to the exit, the noise making you flinch— on high alert.
From here, you felt safer to rush— jogging ahead to get in a clear area. Your ship was a while away— faster to reach by car but not impossible to run to. Glancing around at your surroundings, there was no sign of any other living beings besides your crew having been here. No ship, no ruckus, nothing out of the ordinary.
If there was one thing you loved about being a human right now— god damn would it be your peripheral vision. You saw something move from the corner of your eye, and sure, it could be your eyes playing tricks on you from fear— but you couldn’t risk being wrong.
You raised your gun, steadying your breathing, but thats when you heard it. Clicking, the sound activating an instant connection to the chittering sound you heard before. You instantly put the gun in safety, raising your hands. “Wait—!” You called out, your breathing unsteady. “I know you’re there— I am no threat, just please— come out.”
You knew you were taking a great risk here— it could be a noise produced by a xenomorph, something to trick you. However, you felt your shoulders relax when you saw a form appear in front of you— some sort of cloaking device.
They were covered in a mix of things, human blood, a neon green substance you assumed to be their blood, and the blades on their arm were partially melted, seemingly from an acidic substance— xenomorph blood.
“I found—“ You choked slightly on your words, your mouth still dry from fear. “I found someone— I think uhm—“ You continued to fumble as you slugged the backpack off your shoulders, gently placing it on the ground. Unzipping it, you reached in to carefully pick up the child, lifting him into the air.
In a matter of seconds— it felt like, you saw two more figures uncloak. Your fight or flight kicked in as the largest one approached. (Unfortunately you had the third option, freeze). The alien grabbed the small child from your stiff hands, immediately clutching the child close, purring deeply.
Her attention split to you for a second, your expression being that of a neglected pup— frightened and small. “You come with us.” The voice sputtered out, robotic and a mix of voices. It wasnt hard to piece together that whatever translator they had was splicing together voices or audios to create sentences. “W-Wait, but I have to get back to my crew—“ you protested, alarmed at the… strangely nice but scary gesture.
The robotic voice answered quickly, the monotone inflection didn’t help to soothe you. “Dead. We killed. You come with us.”
It was hard to let that sink in, especially in a short time. However you were glad you weren’t much fond of the crew— mainly military-employed, egotistical, assholes. Not like you had much of a choice here. What would your bosses do if you came back, empty handed? You spent resources on an expedition with no true reward, and the rest of the crew dead. You’d be a fool to think that capitalism would view you kindly. They’d consider you a waste. Demote or kill you, maybe a lifetime of debt as punishment. “O…Okay, I’ll come with.”
The mother puffed out her chest, a hopefully positive response. As she turned around to lead you off, she did seem confident with your answer, likely glad you atleast weren’t a fool. Wherever they took you, you atleast had a long story ahead of you.

Yautja Introduction
-Ath’aun edition

-Ath’aun has a decent build for a Yautja, being 7’4 (within average range) and on the meatier side
-He is built for hotter temperatures, and has made game on volcanic planets due to finding the setting appealing
-His body is a dark, charcoal grey, but when it gets to his neck/belly/inner arms, it fades into a charred orangeish/red color
-His patterns along his body almost look like tiger stripes, dark (barely visible once it fades into the grey part of his skin)
-He has longer tendrils/hair than most, so when he’s hunting it is tied up in a specific way where it doesnt hurt and its out of his way
-Despite his volcanic appearance, he has black scleras with silverish eyes (kinda scary to look at ngl,,, reminding me of those halloween contacts)
-He favors going for larger prey, so he doesnt actually hunt humans often, rarely goes out of his way to even encounter them
-He is blooded / has been for a long while but he is nowhere near an elders status
the first of my yautja ocs! I wanted to make an introductory post so people can pick their faves / request content for them later on as I continue to write hehe

A Kindness You Can't Afford.
Starboy Series.
I II
Content Warning: Gender neutral reader, use of slurs.
Reminder: Don't like? Don't read!
Proofread? Yes.
T'ring!
The pealing of the deceptively dainty bell assaults your ears as you enter the corner shop. The electrical buzzing of the florescent lights playing in the background like a shitty musical number. You blink hard as you slam the toe of your boots down on the mat in front of the door, shaking off the snow clinging to them.
You walk with a purpose towards the fridge aisle at the back, your gaze and walk automatic as you weave past a group of old men, ranging from their thirties to fifties, huddled around the beer crates.
Capturing the faintest whispers of their conversation as you stroll past.
"—No, you can't say retard anymore."
"Why not?"
"It offends the mentally challenged. Y'see 'retard' has more of 'em disabled tones to 'em. And there's no disability in the world that explains why he's so stupid. Jus'... hmm..."
"Bad breeding?"
"Inbreeding!"
The group of men howl with laughter, their voices filling the entire shop as some grip their bellies and turn red in the face.
You tune most of it out as you pause and linger in the frozen meat section. Eyeing the differences in proportions, price, expiry date, and, of course, meat type.
Your gaze traces along the larger proportions, only to look at the price and divert your attention elsewhere.
You must have been standing there for quite some time before you're pulled out of your thoughts by a weary yet kind voice.
"What're you looking for, honey?" A short and stout lady stands on your right, adjusting her rectangle framed glasses as she tilts her head towards the fridge and squints. Her body aged and wrinkled, yet her hair was still a vibrant auburn. A woman who had a lived a good life.
Mrs. Davidson, you recall. She was good friends with your grandparents. And she's been looking out for you ever since.
Whether you want her to or not.
"Just meat." You shrug, not committing yourself to the conversation. The weight of your two jackets bulking up most of your figure, leaving you impenetrable. Unapproachable.
You've always been like this.
"What kind of meat?" Mrs. Davidson probes, her smile crinkling her eyes as she gives you a patient look. "Is it for Cocoa?"
"No," You shake your head. You would've been out of the shop before this conversation even started if you were picking something out for your dog. Cocoa was the only woman you could shop for, really... her tastes already well established. "I'm feeding a..."
A what, genius? A space alien? A skinwalker? E.T.?
You're already regretting even entering this shop. The only reason you did was because Mrs. Davidson would always give you a discount.
"... a bear." You finish, kicking yourself mentally at the absurdity of it. You risk a glance out of the corner of your eye at the shorter woman.
She only nods slowly, her head angling to the side slightly, squinting as if she was trying to make sense of it all.
"Is that what broke your door a few days ago?"
Right. Of course Carl told her.
The night your... space alien? You need a better name for him... the night your door was broken, you called Carl in a frantic panic in the early hours of the morning. Carl, being your grandfather's best friend, had hiked all the way up to the isolated cabin while it was still dark. He had helped nail a slab of plywood to your broken windowscreen to keep the frost from creeping in.
Or something else.
And of course, Carl told his... girlfriend about it.
It was so weird to call old people girlfriend and boyfriend. It felt too juvenile for their big age... but here you were.
".. Yeah." You replied after a brief pause, too subtle for her to catch on. "I'm hoping that if I give it some food, it'll stop trying to go after Cocoa. I think it's injured."
Mrs. Davidson gives you a pitying look, shaking her head softly. She must have sympathised with how terrifying a bear breaking in must have been. She's always going on about how you're too isolated up there.
How anything could happen.
How long it would take for anyone to notice.
"Honey, don't feed it... it will come back." She warned, turning her body over to the side to walk back to the counter, parting with some final wisdom bestowed on you: "Leave it to the land. That's what it knows."
You remain staring at the selection of meat, barely acknowledging the fact that she left. And barely acknowledging the arrival of someone new.
"Beaver." A deep yet boisterous voice informs from beside you, one of the old men who were talking earlier. The oldest of the bunch, around fifty-four, still in good shape despite his plump figure. You remember meeting him a few years ago in a pub. John, you think. "If you want to try and trap it, a fresh beaver carcass is the way to go. I've got a few bear traps in the truck as well. You want me to lend you some?"
Right.
The sensible decision.
Having traps to defend yourself.
"... sounds good." You nod as you turn ever so slightly to face him. He laughs as he grips your shoulder, shaking you as a friendly gesture of camaraderie. Regardless your muscles tense.
"I've got some pals who can help me get that beaver for 'ya." His hand drops, giving you enough time to subtly take a step back. Reclaiming your personal space. "It's real odd, though... bears don't usually come out around this time of year... something must'a scared it."
... you're inclined to agree.
"I'll drop by in a few days. Set the traps for 'ya!" He laughs as he pats you on the back, leaving you to only nod as he walks away.
John and his crew were avid hunters. Loved the sport more than anything. The last time you were at the pub, John had talked your ear off about how many animals he's hunted down. Bragging about all the trophies he has hanging on his walls at home.
He even had a few moose heads hanging around in that very pub.
Accomplished, he was often referred to as.
He's always trying to get you to join him on one of his hunts...
You decline every time. Hunting down deer holds no interest to you.
But each time you give him that answer, he only smiles and utters in a determined tone:
"One day, I'll catch a big one."
A big what? You can only speculate.
A headache is already beginning to form thanks to the florescent lighting, the buzz only hammering that headache further. You glance towards a cart nearby, eyeing the bright orange reduced stickers.
...
You hope E.T. likes chicken.
.
.
.
A low sigh groans from your throat as you step into your home. The trek back up the mountain was always ridiculous. Thankfully, Cocoa could carry the shopping bags on that little sledge of hers. You unbuckle her clasp, setting her free while you gather your bags and take them inside. Making a few trips to get them all in.
You always had to stock up in bulk to avoid going down to the town so often.
You bend down to take the last bundle of bags indoors, and you glance over to your dog to see her standing in front of you. Facing the forest in alert. Your heart plummeted.
There's no sound.
It's dead silent.
No birds.
No wildlife.
Not even wind.
"Inside, girl." You utter as calmly as possible, practically dragging Cocoa by the scruff of her neck as she growls at seemingly nothing.
You walk back towards your front door, stepping on the porch, slamming your toes down on the wood to shake off the snow, before stepping indoors. You're methodical in your approach. Not going slow, but you aren't rushing to get indoors either.
You were told by both your grandmother and grandfather...
Don't run.
Running will only make you prey.
Running will only encourage them to chase.
You hear it.
A low series of clicks.
You try your best not to slam the door shut when you hear it.
The second you're inside, you dump the bags at your feet to spin around and lock the door. You rattle the handle once-- twice. It's locked.
Your forehead nearly kisses the door as you slump over in relief. A breath you didn't know you were holding escapes you. Your hands trembling.
Cocoa nudges her head into your thigh, like she's trying to console you. The corners of your lips upturn as you ruffle her head with your hands.
You lean down and grab the plastic bags, the weight leaving indents in your arms as you tred towards your kitchen. Passing the open living room, your eyes glued to the piece of plywood nailed over the sliding glass door.
You've never felt more unsafe.
The chicken is the final thing you grab after unloading the groceries stocked up... the cheap plastic sticking to your palms unpleasantly. You peel your hand free, flicking the appendage by your wrist as you place it near a spare dog food bowl.
Would blue-eyes want it cooked? Or would he only eat it raw?
You hate being so unsure about something.
No amount of Googling would solve your dilemma, that's for sure...
You pinch the plastic between your teeth, pulling back as you tear the packaging open. The smell of raw chicken hitting you like a slap in the face.
It's a pungent smell. Enough to make your nose crinkle in disgust.
But it's someone else's dinner.
You cut the chicken up into thick slices, easier for consumption as you dump it in the dog bowl. Cocoa sits by your legs, silently begging for scraps. You set aside a boneless leg to cook for her later.
Going back outside after hearing something was simply a stupid idea. So, you grabbed a spare plank from when Carl came over.
As you approach the door, all you feel is this anxiety swirling up in your gut, knotting up your stomach and stealing air from your lungs. Almost as if your instincts are screaming at you that the danger is right behind that door.
You should listen to it.
Humans seem to be the only animals who head towards danger instead of avoiding it.
The door swings open, and your eyes squint as if you're bracing for something.
There's nothing there.
You go to step out on your porch, but you think better of it.
You crouch down slowly, placing the dog bowl on the floor and using the wooden plank to push it out towards the very edge of your porch. You pull the plank back, setting it upright next to your door as you slowly rise to your feet.
There's nothing there. You keep reminding yourself.
For some odd reason, the air seems warmer.
You poke your head further out of the door, squinting to see if there's anything near the treeline. The air only seems to be getting warmer the closer you get.
You hear that clicking again. It's closer this time. Almost right on top of you.
You slam the door shut.
The handle rattles, once-- twice.

Regardless of what fandom you’re in I feel like using tags properly is something everybody should try and abide by, just out of respect for the other people consuming content in that fandom. On that note, please stop tagging your Predator universe x OC fics with the “yautja x reader” tag, thanks.

Tukie: "Why am I missing half my armor? Why am I half naked?…And what is this?" [points at the drawing]
Tukie: "Why are you sitting on top of me? Did we fight? Did I lose? Are you challenging me?”
Magnus: "Well… one could see it as a challenge! Hehe."
"I started drawing you, but then I thought it’d be funny if you were in a battle stance thinking about me."
"See? I even drew big thinking bubble!"
[Tukie narrows his eyes]
Tukie: "Ooman… why would I do that?"
Tukie (thinking): She wants to provoke me!
