Older f/o that spoils and pampers you with everything you could ever want, takes you on dates that match your tastes, too. They know so much about this kind of thing and put their experience to good use. Older f/os with experience know exactly how to make you feel special, because you deserve it.

Or maybe they’re inexperienced, either by choice or because of circumstance. They’re older, yes, but you’re their first real love in a long time and they don’t wanna mess it up. Older f/os that are inexperienced are just too cute. <3

I can’t explain why, but there’s something deeply hot about an older F/O making comments that keep reminding you that you’re younger than them. Something like, “Oh, but I guess you wouldn’t remember that, you were just in elementary school when that happened. I was in college so I was well aware of it.”

Imagine your F/O looking after you while you're sick or suffering a flare-up

🩺 They build you up a nest in bed, making sure it's got your favourite blankets and stuffed animals, along with a bottle of water (that they'll refill for you whenever it needs refilling!)

💊 They make sure they're fully stocked with any medication you might need. Pain medication, cold/flu meds, supplements, your prescriptions, along with heat/cooling pads, olbas oil, vix vapo rub, and anything else you might need to start feeling better!

💉 They also stock up on all of your favourite snacks, and fruit juices to help your immune system. Plenty of soup, if you've got an upset tummy, and plenty of nice snackies if your tummy is fine!

🩹 They then make sure there's plenty to entertain you, while you're out of comission. Favourite movies, favourite TV shows, favourite albums, books for you to read (or for them to read to you!)

🤕 They're fully prepared to entertain themselves as you sleep off the sickness or flare-up. But even while you sleep, they won't leave your side. They don't want you to feel alone for a single second!

😷 They even get you a new stuffed animal, so if they do have to leave (even if it's just to run to the bathroom, or make some food), you'll still have a piece of them in your little nest to hold, so you know you're fully supported.

Imagine your older F/O...

🩴Imagine your older F/O constantly teasing you for being younger than them. Even better if you're also shorter than them!

🏖 Imagine your older F/O playing the protector role, keeping an arm around you in public, always walking closest to the road on the pavement, glaring at anyone who looks at you too long.

🌊Imagine your older F/O battling their guilt about your age gap, and overcompensating by throwing gifts and care your way. More than any other partner you've had before!

🩴Imagine your older F/O talking about their childhood and occasionally going "Of course, you'd have only been X years old then," when they tell stories of their teens or early twenties, just to watch you get indignant at being reminded how young you are.

🏖 Imagine your older F/O referring to you as 'little one', or even 'kiddo' to tease you about the age gap. Even more so if it makes you go red and get flustered!

🌊Imagine your older F/O taking time to learn things about you, even if it's so far outside of their usual wheelhouse, so you know exactly how loved and treasured you are.

car problems? just call them, they'll be there with a tool kit and any parts needed. and if it's not something they can repair right there, not to worry, they'll get the trailer!

computer is glitching? don't worry, dear, just let them handle it. see, nothing too terrible, it's an easy fix!

even if the AC breaks, or the roof leaks, or the door hinges squeak, never fear! the f/os are here to make sure everything will be okay!

🌙 — Imagine ,

It's well past midnight when your f/o pulls you close again, the world outside your window cloaked in velvet blue. The only light in the room comes from the soft golden hue of the paper lanterns strung overhead, swaying slightly as if breathing with the same rhythm you both share.

They trace lazy patterns along your arm, not needing to say anything—just basking in the quiet warmth of being near you. The room smells faintly of tea and worn pages, and there's a record spinning somewhere in the background, humming an old love song like it was written just for tonight.

“You always look like you're dreaming when you’re with me,” they whisper, brushing a strand of hair from your face.

“Maybe I am,” you murmur back.

They smile, that soft, sleepy kind of smile that only appears when they’re too in love to hide it. “Then don’t wake up.”

...but you don't plan to, do you?

F/o thinks and makes plans to ask you out in the most romantically thought out way possible; yet when the actual moment to arrives, f/o suddenly forgets how to speak and visibly turns into the standing emoji (🧍)

Some alternatives to kissing because I have too many F/Os who aren’t human

- The forehead lean™️. Holding each other by the backs of your heads and simply leaning your foreheads together. Works as a kissing alternative as well as a general sign of affection for each other.

- Nose rubbing. Yeah just… rubbing your noses together. Something about it is just so cute to me 😭 It’s so soft and happy

- Slow blinking at each other like cats. Maybe for characters with glowing eyes or lights as eyes the light could dim as a way of slow blinking at you.

- Headbutts. Just… Small, gentle headbutts in your general direction. And rubbing their head against you… wah

- A teeny tiny, tickling zap of magic if your F/O has magical powers of some sort, or electricity if they’re a robot. Barely enough to be felt

- Holding each other‘s pinkies as a sign of a bond that can’t be severed. Tapping the tips of your pinkies together is equivalent to a kiss.

- Drawing a circle on your left wrist with their finger to remind you that you’re their chosen one. The left hand is the „heart hand“, so that’s where they place their „kiss“.

- Placing their hand on their heart, and then on yours. So simple, but so good imo

You guys go pick out snacks at the dollar store, you make jokes and talk shit through the trailers or maybe talk about how much you wanna see the movies you're seeing trailers of. You good naturedly rib each other over your reactions to the movie afterwards. Next month you go again. Bestie f/o things

imagine your f/o gives you an article of their clothing to wear when you miss them, a jacket or a t-shirt. any worry of wishing for it back someday melts away when they see how wonderful it looks on you, the smile it puts on your pretty face.

they take it back every once in a while, wear it again, only so it retains their scent... but besides that, it will always be there for you, a warm hug from them whenever you need it, no matter the distance. <33
