To me, Unicron has always been a little disappointing.

He’s a planet eating god, let him be more terrifying. Let the clouds roll in, thick tendrils obscuring your vision. All being visible being a singular mandible protruding from the fog.

Let the skies turn a sickening blood red.

let the alarms blare.

What’s more terrifying. Looking at a massive storm; or the storm looking back?

CYBERTRONIAN MUTATIONS ; PG 1

>> CARBON BLIGHT

— a genetic mutation in cybertronians that causes a production of extra carbon

— shown to be harmless, doesn’t effect their lifestyle in any way.

— causes protoform to be darker when created. later when they get their external plating / alternative modes armor, it will wind up darker aswell due to the way it forges.

— carbon blight has a high chance of causing higher pigmentation in biolights and their spark, which is typically the cause of the mutation. Because of this, their biolights may be visible through their protoform even upon reaching their final spark stage.

— carbon blight is typically caused by a mutated spark. Specifically in cases where twin sparks end up conjoining- it causes more production of internal resources such as carbon.
