Kaiba had taken a laid back posture, while inside of the vehicle. One arm rested over a support as his head was placed over the palm of his hand. He still wore the outfit he had on himself all day long, a white tuxedo with a blue necktie. He was well aware how that was a tad too fancy, for what was bound to come for them. Yet, it wasnât a troubling thought for him. Besides, he was fairly certain Yugi was bound to enjoy the view.
It was a win-win scenario for both of them.
The moment his car stopped, the driver stepped out of it and quickly opened the door for his patronâs guest. The older man also gestured for Yugi to hurry up, and get inside.
Kaiba waited for the other to get inside with him, and the door to be closed, before he broke his silence. âI see youâre finally getting better at being pontual, Yugi.â After making that statement, he shifted a bit on his seat so he could face his guest. It was then, he noticed the small box with him. âWhatâs that?â
Yugi entered the car and sat down next to Kaiba, giving him an awkward greeting. âHello.â Kaiba was dressed so fancily, if Yugi didnât know him in this regard, heâd think Kaiba just came from a fancy birthday celebration. Yugi had no clue why he was so dressed up. Hopefully he didnât intend to go anywhere fancy, considering that Yugi was definitely underdressed in comparison.Â
At the mention of the box, he handed it to Kaiba nervously, his cheeks rosy. âItâs just a small birthday gift. I made a cake for you.â He was mentally congratulating himself proudly for actually giving Kaiba the cake instead of throwing it out of the window, but he felt terrible. What had he been thinking, giving Seto Kaiba a probably mediocre self-made cake?Â

Had it been a lady, it might have been more embarrassing but, fortunately, it is just two guy.
Fur?. Likely to keep warm & get some cover, cold breezes could still roam around, within the cave.
ââUhhâŚââ, he ends up thinking about that request. The only piece that could be of use right now, was his treasured cape.
Oh well. Its just temporary.Â
It wasnât like the other could just run off anywhere.Â
ââYeah, sureââ. Taking off the cape, Bakugou would hand it over to whom else was sat.
Linkâs brows rose in surprise when Bakugou took of his cape for him. It was truly a nice gesture, to simply offer it to a stranger like this. Link reached out and accepted it. It was soft and warm, exactly what he needed right now.Â
âThank you. I appreciate it.â He spread it on the stone and curled up on it, then used the rest of the cape to wrap it around himself. He was still not completely dry and a draft was travelling through the cave, making him shiver even by the fire.
âWhat about you? Are you okay like this? I donât want to take anything away from you so that you arenât warm anymore.â

âStubborn, but passionate.â And it was such people that would drive others towards a better future, one not so steeped in absolute darkness and impending doom. Or so one could hope, for standing idle or being entirely unknowing towards the dangers and issues surrounding them would do them no good.Â
âI know not my own destiny-â Nobody did, in his opinion;Â âBut it is taking its sweet time to offer any solace.â Torment had been his life and it very well may just continue long into death - if he was currently caught between the two then he knew not what may just lay ahead of him.Â
âAnd you?â
Cloud understood what Vincent meant. âYeah. Life can suck.â Living in the slums with AVALANCHE for a while had shown him that there can be happiness in the strangest of places, no money required, but it never scratched that itch of his. He was content but he was also angry. He didnât want to have to desperately search for the bright side when right above them were people living in much better conditions. He just wanted to make money fast and improve his situation.Â
âIâm not sure. Itâs inspiring to see men like Barret risk their lives for what they think is the greater good but what for? Humanity wonât thank him for it. Everyone just looks out for themselves, money makes the world go round and being a martyr really has no upsides.âÂ
Cloud realised that this sounded hopeless and pessimistic but it was reality, wasnât it? âI thought being a SOLDIER is fulfilling. Not so sure about that anymore. Not sure if âfulfillingâ even truly exists.â

chosenbythecrystalâ:
âWhich makes it worse,â Noctis was well aware of how things were â of the hold Niflheim had held over Tenebrae ever since the murder of Lunaâs mother. It was infuriating. Everyone knew how it was. Niflheim knew, Lucis knew and Tenebrae knew so the pretence was nothing more than a power play. âItâs like weâre puppets in a show, dancing for them.â
There was no denying that Niflheim held all the cards. It was all his father could do to keep Insomnia protected. He didnât have the strength to extend the wall back over the entire kingdom and even if he did, it would be pointless. Niflheim had already taken control of most of their territory.
Noctis let out a soft sigh â there was no point arguing. He didnât have much choice in the matter. None of them had any choice. He supposed that Ignis being there was some comfort, at least, even if they probably wouldnât have much time to interact.
âAlright, alright. Iâll take it seriously.â
âYes, you are correct.â Noctisâ puppet metaphor hit the nail on the head. It pleased Ignis that his prince was well aware of what was going on, far more alert and interested than people gave him credit for. âWe are indeed puppets, on a string.â
He offered Noctis a relieved smile. âI have no doubts that you will excell at this. Dancing is very easy, itâs all about the practise. It helps to have a good partner but assume the worst. A bad partner needs subtle correcting on your part to make up for it. Not verablly of course. Donât tell your dance partner that she made a mistake. Just fix it through the dancing. I will show you how that works but first enjoy your dinner.â

fatummortemâ:
It was fun, to watch that innocent look turn into understanding, it makes his blue eyes brighten with a teasing shine. There was also something darker there, almost primal in nature. The temptation to kiss is lover again was heavy on his mind, but the banter & teasing was far too fun to give into temptation within seconds. No matter how tempting it was.
Amusement brightens his eyes all the more, his lips twitching before his crooked grin widens. Purely for his tattoo indeed. âDoesnât your runes hurt?â A few seconds was probably better than hours or days of a needle. âSome people are different, how much it hurts can be determined by their sense of pain.â He personally hates pain, but heâd get his tattoo all over again.Â
A low laugh slips out as he slips closer, his arm lazily hooking over the back of the couch. His eyes shifting down to Alecâs crouch as his tongue moves to press into his cheek thoughtfully. Oh, it would be so easy just to say getting a closer look would help him envision the type of tattoo that would work the best. Heâll have to save that suggestion for later.
Licking his lips his teeth nip the side of his lower lip, his eyes flicking upwards before looking to his loverâs ember eyes. âI wouldnât go into meanings, your body is already littered with them. PictureâŚ?â Blue hues shift down as he tilts his head, eyebrows wiggling devilishly as he looks back up. âCould try a picture of an obscure Disney creatureâÂ
His eyes were bright at teasing as he lets himself enjoy the fact his lover was flustered. âIn all seriousness, do you like the look of any tattoos? I like ones that give a tribal feeling to them, so only a select few would know the meaning behind it.â
Alec loved seeing the devilish sparkle in Dakenâs eyes. Heâd lie if he said that there wasnât definitely an appeal to Dakenâs downworlder nature. It was simply differerent from Alecâs, and the shadowhunter was drawn to Daken for all he was and also for all he wasnât. They had things in common but just as many things were different and it was always a delight to explore each other. Though sometimes doubt plagued him that he was boring in Dakenâs eyes. Were nephilim boring? Compared to downworlders, they probably were.
âNo, they donât hurt. Or rather, most of them donât.â Alec took Dakenâs hand and brushed his thumb over the back of it in thought. âCertain runes that are less common can be straining. The application itself is painless but the effect the runes have on the body can be damaging so itâs best to have good rune management. Applying any rune would hurt a lot on mundanes though. I heard it could even kill them.â
He snickered at the thought of having a disney creature on his goddamn dick. Way to ruin a childhood. âIâm not letting a needle anywhere near my penis but anywhere else we could talk about. I like your tattoos, they are beautiful. I could get something inspired by them but smaller. Much smaller.â Funny how he was able to battle demons but the thought of a needle made him nervous. âMaybe a flame..or a torch? The insignia of my family. Or would that be weird?â

khxpreshâ:â
What kind of problem did he bring him this time around?
It was the first thing that crossed Kaibaâs mind, the moment he spotted the notification of Yugiâs message on his phone. This caused him to lose focus from his work, so he could check on its contents.
It has been quite some time since the last time he had properly exchanged words with Yugi. Ever since the weird events, they had strayed away from each other, for obvious reasons. Things hasnât quite returned to what they used to, even though they were experiencing a moment of peace.
Upon reading the text messageâs content, and having a quick glance at his schedule, he didnât take too long to get back to his colleague and school projects partner. Perhaps he could make room, for some entertainment and distraction from work, in his birthday.
Perhaps, he could allow himself to have some fun in this day.
[ â ] : Iâll pick you up in your place, when Iâm done here.
[ â ] : Iâve got something else in mind for tonight.
[ â ] : Iâll keep you updated as well. Donât keep me waiting.
After sending the last message, Kaiba began the slow process of leaving his office and exiting his companyâs buidling for the day.
As per usual, it didnât take him long to get to Yugiâs property, and he was the one who opened the vehicleâs door fo his company for the night.
Yugi blinked at the messages. Kaiba had something else in mind? Of course Yugiâs mind went straight down the gutter and he recalled their..activities in the school. His face was burning when he texted Kaiba back. He doubted that Kaiba wanted to repeat said activities but he couldnât control his first thoughts after all.
[ â ] : Okay, great. See you later.
The cake was done on time and Yugi awaited Kaibaâs car outside the store. His mum had helped him wrap the cake up nicely in cardboard, and then in tasteful gift wrap. At least Yugi thought it was tasteful. He had a feeling that no matter what he did, heâd be unable to please Kaiba.

âOh my, you certainly plan ahead, donât you?âÂ
Which has him wondering who, if not he, would she have pursued to test her baking? It must have been pure chance that the two of them would run into each other, while Kimblee had time on his hands â no less. Or rather, any business the man had to tend to had already been swiftly â and mercilessly â dealt with, but she neednât know about all that.
âItâs perfectly alright, Miss Rockbell. I wouldnât dream of missing out on an opportunity to be your guinea pig. I think it will be nice.â And with his wretched humor he continues, with: âItâs not too late to poison everything before I arrive, you know.âÂ
Winry gave a helpless laugh at his macabre joke. âThis is no laughing matter, Mr. Kimblee!â she said, while laughing at the matter. âSo many things could go wrong with an upset stomach. I assure you Iâve never killed anyone with my food before.â She checked her wristwatch. âAh! So late already and so much to prepare! I need to go. See you tomorrow.â
The next day was spent baking nervously. Her pumpkin pie had never killed anyone, it was true...but what if Kimblee was the first victim? Winry shook her head and forced herself to focus. Nobody ever died from pie before, as far as she was concerned. Besides who knew how the physiology of alchemists changed over the course of their lives? Surely doing all these strange feats must influence them in some way. It wouldnât surprise her if the man was immune to most poisons.Â
She finished right on time and waited in the lobby on a comfortable chair the next evening, the pie on a tray on her lap. It was warm and fresh out of the oven. The alluring scent had earned her quite a few curious gazes from other guests. A good sign.
