doyoung’s whole thing is Stepping on the line. he tells us this episode 1- the line is meant to be stepped on. stepped on but NOT crossed. and in my genuine honest and true (and studied!) opinion, doyoung only ever stepped on lines and never crossed them.
killing yusung would be crossing a line. presenting himself to hyeyoung would be crossing a line. arguably killing beomjae was crossing the line, but i think we can excuse that as An Eye For An Eye (dongsoo had ohjae and sangwoo and a dozen of doyoung’s unnamed men killed. taking his brother away is a fair trade for all of that… right?)
dongsoo? han dongsoo? yeah that evil freakish lawyer? he cannot just step on a line. it’s too tempting to cross it and he just cannot help himself. he is a line crosser. he crossed the line by killing doyoung’s men and the overall betrayal. and that was so uncool (and unsmart!) of him.
but even after dongsoo did cross those lines and attempt to have doyoung either murdered in his prisonous home or have him locked away for life… doyoung still has no interest in crossing. he’s a stepper. if dongsoo wasn’t as dense as he is they could’ve left that warehouse together. and tbh if dongsoo had begged and admitted to his sins then maybe beomjae could’ve lived another day or two.

#ds any minute any hour any day any week etc etc#that’s the Canon answer but i genuinely see no other option…#if u consider all of canon EXCEPT the actual fight to the ‘death’ then dy has no reason to put ds down#he’s too smart and beautiful to be killed#and even when he has gone full betrayal mode he is still too wonderful to be killed#unless the only exception i can think of is if ds directly asks to be murdered#but he’s too prideful for that………#the answer is dongsoo. i will die on this hill like dy dies* on the stairs#*- cuz what if everything is ok :)#STRENGTH and violent experience would put dy on top BUT! love and appreciation for lawyer would lessen these stats…#lalalalalala#polls

ok here is the plan:
i have 3 canon(ish) projects in the works. i want to finish allllll three of those before i start getting really fucking crazy with my au plans. the first of the three should hopefully be the shortest, and then the other two well… will be longer (chaptered probably). but i think it is smart to get my big canon ideas dealt with before i move away toward the aus i wanna do. GAH.
sorry actually HERE is the plan:
3 canon(-y) fics, 1 shortER than the others. and THEN i will unleash my nutso funtime aus. WAHOO!
