Tom Cruise and Tramell Tillman fucked on the gay tension submarine it just wasn’t important to Ethan’s journey so we didn’t see it
#everyone on that submarine was gay and that includes katy o’brien’s trio that looked like they only spoke in riddles#(and Ethan of course)

Twenty days of Mission: Impossible 2
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 2 (2000) dir. John Woo
Mission Impossible: 2 premiered in Los Angeles on May, 18th 2000 and released worldwide on May, 24th 2000. It went on to gross over $546 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2000, and was the highest-grossing film in the series for 11 years.
Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times said that “if the first movie was entertaining as sound, fury, and movement, this one is more evolved, more confident, more sure-footed in the way it marries minimal character development to seamless action.”

something that's making me actually crazy about final reckoning is that it's bookended by a classic mi-style narration which will self-destruct in five seconds, but in the first one from the president ethan is being blamed, guilted, and pressured into giving up and in the second luther celebrates everything that ethan stood for and reassures him that he shouldn't regret anything he did. it's also notable that luther is the only one who offers him a choice, maybe in the entire movie. fr ends with a sense of uncertainty in ethan; he doesn't know what to do with himself now that his mission is complete, and he's lost the only anchor that's kept him steady for twenty years. and then he gets luther's message. im going insane
#like. I did cry at the ‘the future is filled with kindness and understanding if we choose to accept it’#it’s very moving#but also the most devastating thing I’ve ever heard!!!#mi8 spoilers

rocked up to the mi8 screening in an embroidered “shoes please” shirt and my homemade dynamite charm earrings and bonded with the couple next to me who cheered during the “thank you for coming to the theatres” intro

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE (1996) dir. BRIAN DE PALMA
I've been disavowed. They think I killed Jim and everyone else. Somehow a hundred thousand dollars found its way into my parents' bank account. Kittridge assumes I'm a mole they've been tracing and I've been in the employ of an arms dealer, Max, for the last two years, to get him our NOC list. What are you going to do? I'm going to get it for him.

The best thing about Benthan is that everyone involved is really chill about it. Like Simon Pegg has said that he thinks Benji has a crush on Ethan. Tom Cruise is always giving Benji heart eyes and doesn’t seem too bothered by the ship. Like they could easily have gone: NO HOMO BRO! THEY ARE BEST BROS! ETHAN LOVES ILSA, OBVIOUSLY!!!
But, guess what, they didn’t. I read somewhere that they even deleted the kissing scene between him and Ilsa.
What I am trying to say is that this ship has validity.
Also, please for the love of everything that’s good and pure don’t make Ilsa a love interest. She is too much of a boss bitch.
Benji is the only damsel in distress that this franchise needs.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Just found out that Rob Lowe’s brother shot the Eddie Diaz Risky Business homage. The likelihood of Tom Cruise knowing about it increases every day.
