Daniela: "You know, out of all the places, I didn't think I would find you here."
Daniela sat next to Aurora in the skate park, the quiet of the night enveloped them.
Daniela: "You scared Bela when she went to check on you and you weren't in your room. I don't think I've seen her that worried or scared before... Mia also almost stabbed someone before we split up to look for you."
Daniela chuckled, trying to play it cool, but looked concerned when Aurora didn't say anything and just stared at the floor with an annoyed look on her face.
Daniela: "We're all worried about you."
"I'm fine."
Daniela: "You don't look fine."
"Then don't look at me!"
Aurora snapped, making Daniela flinch. The brunette shrinks on herself, looking away from the redhead.
"Sorry."
Daniela: "You can talk to me."
"I know."
A silence lingered between them. Aurora brings her knees to her chest and rests her head on them. A shiver runs down her spine in the cold air. Daniela looks at her for a moment before taking her jacket off and wrapping it around the brunette.
Daniela: "Better?"
Aurora turns to look at Daniela, who just offered her a gentle smile. The brunette's eyes slowly welled up with tears.

Daniela: "Aurora..."
Daniela watched as tears streamed down Aurora's face. Gently, the redhead reached out and placed a hand on Aurora's cheek, caressing it softly.
"I'm fine... I- don't know why I'm crying."
Aurora's voice quivered as she tried to compose herself. Daniela wiped her tears away, cupping the brunette's face and making her face her.
Daniela: "Hey, it's fine. It's okay; there's nothing wrong with that."
Y͟o͟u͟ t͟u͟r͟n͟e͟d͟ t͟h͟e͟m͟ i͟n͟t͟o͟ m͟o͟n͟s͟t͟e͟r͟s͟!͟
"I'm not—I shouldn't... Others had it worse-"
Daniela gently pulled Aurora into a comforting embrace.
Daniela: "That doesn't mean your pain doesn’t matter too. Your feelings matter, Aurora. You're allowed to feel hurt."
Those words... I told her that before.
Aurora: "Dani..."
The redhead held Aurora in her arms when she finally broke down, clinging onto Daniela's shirt. The sound of Aurora's loud sobs filled the air, and Daniela held her tighter.
Daniela: "It's okay... It'll be okay."
Tumblr media
Bela: "Are you clinically insane!?"
Mia: "Why are you asking me that? You should already know the answer."
Mia continued walking, not really caring what Bela had to say. She looked around, glaring at anyone who looked at her. Bela chased after Mia, frustration evident on her face.
Bela: "Mia, you can't just act like this!"
Mia scoffed, not bothering to slow down her pace.
Mia: "You think I don't know that?!"
Mia suddenly stopped, the blonde finally managing to catch up to her.
Mia: "If something happens to her... All our progress—If she—forgets me I-"
Mia's eyes well up with frustration, and she runs a hand through her hair.
Mia: "I swear not even Miranda will be able to stop me...
She laughs with an derange expression on her face, tears streaming down.
Mia: "Unless she kills me."
Bela frowns, grabbing Mia's arm, forcing her to stop and face her.
Bela: "That won't happen; we'll find her, and she'll be okay."
Mia stops for a moment, her expression quickly turning dull. She sneers at the blonde, yanking her arm away from her.
Mia: "Easy for you to say if she forgets everything, she'll probably choose you anyway."
Just as Mia was about to walk away, Bela's phone rang. She quickly answered it.
Bela: "Hello?"
On the other end of the line, Daniela's voice crackled.
Daniela: "Bela, I found Aurora! She's okay!"
Bela sighed, but before she could answer her sister, Mia snatched the phone off her hand.
Mia: "Where was she? Is she okay?"
Daniela goes quiet on the other end, and the blonde stares at Mia, frustration evident on her face. She reached out to grab the phone back.
Bela: "Give me the phone, Mia. Let me talk to Daniela; she won't tell you anything; she doesn't trust you."
Mia hesitated for a moment before an annoyed grumble left her lips. She handed the phone back to Bela, her grip tight and her knuckles turning white.
Bela: "Daniela, where is she? Is she hurt?"
Daniela's voice came through the phone again.
Daniela: "No, she's not hurt, Bela. I found her at the skate park. She's with me now, and we're heading back to the dorms."
Bela let out another sigh of relief, her body relaxing for the first time in hours. She looked at Mia, who was still standing there with a distant look in her eyes.
Bela: "Mia, Aurora is safe. Daniela found her at the skate park. They're heading back to the dorms."
Mia snapped her head, looking at Bela for a moment before letting out a big sigh and sinking into the ground. She covered her face with her hands, exhaustion evident in her voice.
Mia: "You realize I'm going to snap one day, right?"
Bela: "Please don't."
Tumblr media
Aurora slowly opened her eyes, realizing she was back in her dorm.
"What—who brought me here?"
Aurora looked around, seeing Daniela sitting on the edge of her bed, watching over her. The redhead smiled warmly at her.
Daniela: "You fell asleep, so I carried you back to the dorms. I hope you don't mind."
The brunette sat up slowly, feeling a bit groggy.
"Thank you, Dani. You didn't have to do that."
Daniela shrugged with a playful glint in her eyes.
Daniela: "Well, I couldn't just leave you outside in the cold, could I? Plus, it gave me a chance to play the knight in shining armor."
Aurora chuckled softly.
"My hero."
Daniela smiled, scratching the back of her neck, her face slowly flushing red.
Daniela: “I do my best.”
Aurora smiled at her before reaching for her phone on the nightstand and noticing a series of missed calls and text messages from Bela, Mia, Daniela, and Cassandra. She furrowed her brows.
Daniela: "By the way, I called Bela, and Mia was with her, so they already know you're fine."
Aurora: "Oh."
The brunette opened Cassandra's text messages.
CASSI🎭
8:00
AURORA, WHERE ARE YOU!?
8:30
WE'RE LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR YOU!
8:31
PLEASE LET US KNOWS YOU’RE SAFE!
8:34
MIA JUST TRIED TO STAB SOMEONE AND BELA TACKLED HER TO THE GROUND!
9:00
Please answer me my star…
Aurora's heart sank as she read the message. She quickly typed a reply.
I'm so sorry, Cassandra.
I didn't mean to worry anyone.
I'm back in the dorms now;
Daniela found me at the skate park.
I'm safe.
Almost immediately, Cassandra replied.
WHY YOU… WE WERE SO WORRIED!
ARE YOU OKAY?!
DO YOU NEED ANYTHING?
I'm fine. Thank you for worrying about me.
I'll see you tomorrow.
I BETTER SEE YOU TOMORROW!
BYE!
❤️
Aurora sighed, looking at Daniela with a grin.
“I think everything is fine now.”
Just in that moment, the door burst open, with Mia immediately face planting into the floor and Bela almost falling on her. Bela looks at Mia for a moment before turning to Aurora and Daniela.
Bela: “She’s fine.”

Just a quick something before I get writer block. (I can feel it in my brain.) Don’t be afraid to leave a comment because I have no idea if this chapter makes sense.

"Ugh, I feel like I'm being stabbed."
Aurora whined, feeling pain all over her body.
Angie: "How do you even know what it feels like to be stabbed?"
Aurora didn't say anything, but she could see Bela glaring at Mia, who sinked into a chair. The brunette tried to close her eyes to rest a bit, but was yanked up by Bela.
Cassandra: "Bela, what the hell? She's not a drag doll."
Bela whispered 'sorry' to Aurora, but the brunette just shook her head dismissively. Cassandra sat down next to Bela, trying to lecture her about how to treat a lady. Aurora raised her brow at Cassandra, and that's when the brunette noticed.
"Why are you guys in my room?"
Angie and Daniela were sitting down on the floor playing uno; Mia was looking at the room's ceiling, probably regretting all her life decisions; and Bela and Cassandra just stopped their conversation to stare at Aurora.
Bela: "Angie told us you were feeling sick."
*knock*
*knock*
Angie: "I'll get it."
Angie got up from the floor and opened the door, closing it behind her. Everyone stared at the door for a few seconds, hearing two voices from behind it, before the door slowly opened again. The brunette smiled, trying to stand up and falling to the floor with a thud. The person who came through the door immediately made her way towards Aurora.
Donna: "Are you okay?"
Aurora winced in pain as Donna approached her. She nodded weakly, unable to find her voice. Donna crouched down beside her, concern etched on her face.
Donna: "What happened? Why are you in so much pain?"
Aurora managed to speak, her voice barely a whisper.
Aurora: "I don't know... It just came out of nowhere."
Donna gently placed a hand on Aurora's forehead, checking for any signs of fever. She then turned to the others in the room.
Donna: "Has she been like this all day?"
Daniela stood up from the floor. She scratched the back of her neck, looking at Aurora, worry evident in her eyes.
Daniela: "Yes, she's been complaining of the pain since this morning."
Donna frowned, deep in thought. She carefully helped Aurora sit up, sitting her on the bed.
Donna: "I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like something serious.
Donna paused for a moment, looking around the room, before locking her eyes with Aurora.
Donna: "We should get her to a hospital."
Aurora's eyes widened in alarm.
"No!"

Aurora's ears started to ring. A hand reached out to her, and she could see bright yellow eyes.
"Don't fucking touch me!"
She smacked the hand away, her eyes wide, as she came back to her senses. Aurora's outburst startled everyone in the room. They exchanged worried glances, unsure of how to react. Donna stepped back, a hurt expression on her face.
"Donna I didn't. I'm... I'm just tired. I swear, just don't— don't take me to the hospital."
Aurora's voice trembled as she pleaded, her eyes filled with tears.
.
.
.
"Can you guys get out? I want to go to sleep, please."
The room fell silent; a heavy tension hung in the air. Bela finally spoke up, looking at Aurora with a flash of guilt in her eyes.
Bela: "Alright, Aurora. We'll leave you to rest. But promise me that if the pain gets worse or if anything changes, you'll let us know, okay?"
Aurora nodded, tears streaming down her face.
Aurora: "I promise."
Daniela, Angie, Mia, Bela, and Cassandra slowly made their way towards the door, with Mia casting one last look towards Aurora before leaving the room. Donna lingered for a moment, her gaze filled with something unreadable. She takes a deep breath before she shows the brunette her hands.
This feels familiar.
Aurora looks at them before Donna gently cups her face, cleaning her tears.
Aurora let out a shaky breath, sinking into Donna's touch. It was gentle and comforting, and it momentarily made her forget the pain she was feeling. Donna smiled softly at Aurora, her expression filled with adoration.
Donna: "Everything is going to be okay, Tesoro."
Aurora managed a weak smile before her expression changed completely.
Did she just...

"Don't hurt me."
Aurora's plea hung in the air, her voice trembling with fear. Donna's eyes widened, she quickly pulled her hands away from the brunette's face, as if she had been burned. Aurora looked confused until she realized what she said.
“Donna.”
Donna: "I’m sorry.”
Danna's voice cracked, stepping back, her eyes filled with tears.
“No, Donna.”
Aurora reached out to her, making the florist flinch.
Donna: “I’m so sorry.”
And before the brunette can say anything, Donna runs out of the room.

“Fuck.”
Aurora felt a wave of exhaustion wash over her. She lay back on her bed, staring up at the ceiling.
“Fuck!”
The brunette covered her face, sobbing into her hands.
A knock on the door interrupted Aurora's sobs.
“Leave me the fuck alone!”
Several voices were heard from the other side of the door before everything went quiet. The brunette hugged her pillow tightly, burring her face into it to muffle whatever sounds came out of her mouth.
Everything hurts

Sorry, it’s short, like my brain circulation right now. Anyway, I’m going to sleep. Hopefully I don’t wake up with writing block, or I swear—

Pt.1 | Pt.2 | Pt.3 | Pt.4 | Pt.5 | Pt.6 | Pt.7 | Pt.8
"Please... help me."
A pained groan left the brunette's lips, looking at Daniela, who just stood there doing nothing.
"Daniela..."
Aurora's face scrunched up when she got an awful smell.
"Get your sister off me!"
She complained, trying to move Cassandra off of her. The diva just groans in response, hugging her tighter and resting her head on Aurora's chest.
"Cassandra, you have coffee breath!"
Cassandra slowly opened her eyes, looking up at Aurora with a pout.
"I finally found a way to get some sleep, and this is how you treat me."
"Laying on me while I sleep on the couch helps you sleep better."
Cassandra looks at the brunette for a few seconds before rolling off of her and falling to the floor. The diva was about to dramatically complain but instead got smacked in the face by the person who was sleeping on the floor.
Cassandra: "Ow, Bela, what the fuck!"
Bela: "Get off me, Cassandra."
Aurora stood up as the other two continued to bicker with each other. She walked toward Daniela, putting her hands on her shoulders.
"You traitor, how could you?"
Daniela groggily smiled at the brunette, who rested her head on her chest. Aurora let out a dramatic sigh of despair.
"How could you leave me with that sleep-deprived coffee addict?"
You could hear Cassandra exclaiming 'hey' from the couch. Daniela let out a tired chuckle, wrapping her arms around Aurora.
Daniela: "This is the weirdest morning ever..."
Aurora smiled up at her, wrapping her arms around the redhead.
"In a good way?"
Daniela: "In a good way."
Tumblr media
Mia: "Thank you for, uh, letting me borrow your clothes.
"Yeah, you're lucky I had clothes that fit you."
Mia: "I'm sorry."
Aurora turned to Mia, confused, before shaking her head.
"You don't have to apologize; those clothes don't fit me anyway."
Mia didn't say anything, and both just continued walking to their first class with an awkward atmosphere in the air. Mia took out her switchblade, making Aurora flinch.
Why am I flinching now?
I͟t͟'͟s͟ a͟ n͟o͟r͟m͟a͟l͟ r͟e͟a͟c͟t͟i͟o͟n͟,͟ d͟o͟n͟'͟t͟ y͟o͟u͟ t͟h͟i͟n͟k͟?͟ D͟o͟ y͟o͟u͟ s͟t͟i͟l͟l͟ r͟e͟m͟e͟m͟b͟e͟r͟ w͟h͟e͟n͟ t͟h͟e͟ a͟g͟o͟n͟i͟z͟i͟n͟g͟ p͟a͟i͟n͟ s͟t͟a͟r͟t͟e͟d͟ t͟o͟ s͟i͟n͟k͟ i͟n͟?͟
"Don't."
Mia turned to Aurora with an ashamed look on her face before she quickly put the blade away.
Mia: "Sorry."
Aurora snapped out of her head, turning to face Mia, who couldn't even look at her in the eyes.
"I— I wasn't talking to you. It's fine if you take out your switchblade as long as you don't stab m- anyone."
Aurora tittered nervously before clearing her throat.
"It's a nervous fidget, isn't it?"
Mia: "I guess—I don't know. It's like...uh."
Mia struggled to find the words and unconsciously took out the switchblade and started opening and closing it, spinning it around in her hand, yet she was not even looking at the blade. Instead, she looked around, still trying to find the words to explain. Aurora just looked towards the blade with some amusement on her face.
Okey, so it is a fidget.
Aurora's attention finally landed back on Mia, who started to walk slower, and then she heard her grunt.
Why does that kind of remind me of a raccoon?
Mia stopped completely. Aurora gave her a confused look before the aichmomaniac pulled her closer to her.
"Wha-Mia boundaries!"
Mia: "I don't have time for this."
She said to absolutely no one as she started to fast-walk in a different direction while dragging Aurora with her too. The brunette stumbled along, trying to keep up with Mia's pace. She couldn't help but feel a mix of concern and fear at Mia's sudden change in behavior.
"Hey, are you okay? What's going on?"
Mia finally stopped, and Aurora bumped into her. The aichmomaniac let go of Aurora and took a few steps back, her expression filled with frustration. She ran a hand through her hair, trying to collect herself.
Mia: "Fucking Finch, why are they following us?"
The brunette looked around, trying to spot who Mia was referring to. She didn't see anyone following them.
"I don't see anyone, Mia. Are you sure someone is following us?"
Mia's eyes darted around, her body tense.
Mia: "I swear, I saw them."
After a moment, they both managed to calm down when they confirmed they weren't being followed anymore and made their way to class again. Mia is walking closer to Aurora this time.
Tumblr media
Bela: "What is she doing here?"
Mia stuck out her tongue to the blonde, who glared at her in return. The aichmomaniac snickered when the blonde turned towards Aurora, who completely ignored her as she was too busy confirming if she had everything for the spell.
"Hawthorn, bay leaf, carnation, cinnamon, and catnip."
Bela: "Catnip?"
Aurora nodded with a concentrated look on her face as she looked through the book.
"Or Nepeta, however you want to call it. Mia, is the fire ready?"
Mia: "Yes, ma'am, the kettle is on the fire and the water is boiling."
Aurora sent Mia a confused look.
Ma'am?
Aurora let it slide as she went back to carefully measuring out the ingredients for the spell, ensuring each one was added to the kettle with precision. Mia watched attentively, her eyes tracing Aurora's every move. There was a sense of camaraderie between them, despite the earlier tension.
As the kettle simmered over the fire, Aurora turned to look at Bela.
"You ready?"
Bela nodded, not saying a word. Her head lightly slumped down, and her eyes glazed over. Aurora reaches out to her, making the blonde flinch. The brunette looks surprised before her expression softens, and she speaks to Bela more tentatively.
"Bad memories."
Bela: "I'm fine."
Aurora gives her a doubtful look when the blonde runs a shaky hand through her hair, inhaling deeply. Mia rolls her eyes in the background as Aurora pulls Bela into a hug. She stiffens at first before she allows herself to sink into Aurora's embrace.
"You'll be fine, I promise."
Aurora can feel Bela nod into her shoulder. A soft inhale was heard from the blonde.
Bela: "Mint."
Bela whispers under her breath, making Aurora flustered.
Mia: “Ugh, this fire isn't going to go forever, plus I think this weird tea is ready. It actually doesn't smell that bad."
The two step back from each other. Aurora rolls her eyes at Mia's comment before locking eyes with Bela, who nods more confidently this time. Aurora smiles at her before placing her hand on Bela's chest, closing her eyes, and letting out a sigh.
"Καλώ τον Πήλιο να ξυπνήσει αυτή την καρδιά από τους νεκρούς και να προκαλέσει συγκίνηση σε αυτή τη φτωχή, χαμένη ψυχή."
Mia: "Holy shit."
Mia whispered, seeing Aurora's hand glow before the glow slowly disappeared. Auroras put her hand down, opening her eyes, and a nervous look on her face when Bela lifted her hand to her chest. The blonde's eyes grew wide before looking at Aurora in awe.
Bela: "I can feel it... My heart is beating in my chest."
Aurora felt a sense of relief and pride before quickly turning around and gesturing to Mia to hand her the kettle. Mia quickly did, and Aurora poured the tea into a cup. Chanting something under her breath before blowing on the tea, a soft glow came from the tea and slowly faded.
"Here, drink all of it, please."
Aurora watched with anticipation as Bela took the cup from her hands and brought it to her lips. As Bela finished the last drop of tea, she sighed before slowly sinking down into the forest floor. Aurora quickly goes down with her, a concerned expression on her face.
"Are you okay?"
Bela: "Yeah, just a little pain, but not as strong as the previous ones."
As Bela lay on the forest floor, her eyes closed, Aurora gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face. The blonde slowly opens her eyes, smiling at her.
Bela: "You're so beautiful."
Mia walked closer to them before looking around.
Mia: "We should probably get going; if we don't, they'll start to suspect us, especially towards you, Ms. President."
Bela groans, annoyed, before flipping Mia off. Mia looked surprised and slightly offended as Aurora let out a half-suppressed laugh.
Mia: "Fuck you too, and not the good kind."
Bela: "Mia, what the fuck?"
Aurora: "I- I can't breathe."

𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞
Pt.1 | Pt.2 | Pt.3 | Pt.4 | Pt.5 | Pt.6 | Pt.7
"Cassandra, just put a card down!"
Cassandra: "I don't have yellow!"
Angie: "Then get another card!"
Cassandra looks at her cards carefully, a grumble leaving her lips, before putting them down.
Cassandra: "Go fish."
Daniela: "Cassandra, we're playing Uno."
The diva crosses her arms, leaning back on the couch and pouting.
Cassandra: "I'm done with this game."
Aurora looks at Cassandra incredulously. Beside her, the brunette hears an annoyed groan.
Bela: "This is a waste of time."
The blonde puts her 20 Uno cards down before standing up and heading to the kitchen. Daniela looks at her with a pained look. Aurora rolls her eyes before looking at Daniela with a reassuring look, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"I'll talk to her."
Aurora stands up, walking towards the kitchen, you can hear Angie yelling 'sore loser' to Cassandra in the background. Bela was putting water on the stove when Aurora walked in. She leans against the counter, waiting for Bela to notice her presence.
After a few moments, Bela finally looks at her, her stare blank as ever.
Bela: "What do you want?"
Aurora sighed and crossed her arms, her frustration evident on her face.
"Okey, let's not do this."
Bela looked away, avoiding eye contact with Aurora. She seemed distant and lost in her own thoughts. The brunette took a step closer, resting her hand gently on Bela's arm.
"Bela, they're your sisters. Okay, if you're going to be mean to someone, be mean to me, not them."
There's a lingering silence before Bela lets out a deep sigh, her shoulders slumping in defeat.
Bela: "I'm the big sister, Aurora."
Bela looked at Aurora with a somber expression on her face as she spoke.
Bela: "I just wish I could be better at it."
Aurora's heart softened as she listened to Bela's words. She gently squeezed the blonde's shoulder.
A sob disturbed the two of them. They both looked toward the noise, seeing a teary Daniela at the kitchen entrance. Before either of them can say anything, Daniela walks forward, pulling Bela into a hug.
Bela: "Daniela..."
Daniela's voice trembled as she spoke, her words filled with emotion.
Daniela: "You're good. You're a good sister, Bela. You were always there for me when we were small, remember? When you hung up decorations for my birthday, I got hurt when I tried to do the same for you, and-"
Daniela doesn't continue as Bela embraces her. Sobs leave the redhead's mouth, trembling in her sister's arms.
The room fell silent as Daniela's sobs filled the room, and that's when Angie, followed by Cassandra, rushed into the kitchen, concern etched on their faces.
Angie: "Who the hell made my bestie cry?!"
Angie quickly lets her guard down when she sees both sisters hugging, and an 'oh' leaves her lips. Cassandra looks unsure of what to do with an awkward expression on her face before she whispers something under her breath and walks up to her sisters, joining in the hug.
Angie smiles before pulling Aurora out of the room quietly.
Angie: "Let's play Uno."
“Sure… I’m going to win anyway.”
Angie laughed, bumping Aurora with her hip.
Angie: “You wish, bitch.”
Tumblr media
Aurora and Bela sat on the kitchen floor, the blonde resting her head on the brunette’s shoulder, trying to make sense of anything in the book. The quiet of the night enveloped them. Aurora gently brushed her fingers through Bela's hair; this was a force of habit, probably from the other loops.
Bela: “Where’s Mia? I didn’t see her get out of the dorm.”
Aurora kept looking through the book as she spoke.
“She fell asleep in my room... I think she cried herself to sleep.”
Bela hums, lifting her head from Aurora’s shoulder.
Bela: “Are you okay? You looked shaken up when you left the room... I shouldn’t have left you there with her.”
Aurora shook her head and focused on the book as she turned to another page.
“I’m fine, just—holy shit!”
Aurora stood up, and a string of what-the-fucks left her lips in a whisper. Bela stood up as well, looking over the brunette’s shoulder.
Bela: “What did you find the thing we needed?”
"Oh, I found that a long time ago.”
Bela: “What?”
"Yeah, when I first looked through the book, it’s a type of ritual, but I found something better!”
Bela: “What?”
“I found a way to get your heart back.”
Aurora's words hung in the air, leaving Bela speechless.
Bela: "Are you serious?"
Aurora nods before looking at Bela, a nervous look on her face.
“It’s a very simple ritual, just a few ancient words and a mixture of herbs for tea, so your heart doesn’t stop beating when emotions hit all at once, but we don’t have to do it right now; it's just...“
Bela stops Aurora’s rambling with a hand on her shoulder.
Bela: "I want to do it. I want my heart back."
Aurora looks up at the blonde, a soft smile slowly forming on her lips before it completely goes away. The brunette takes a deep breath, pulling away from the blonde with a concerned tone in her voice as she continues to speak.
“Okay, we’ll do the spell tomorrow, but first you have to promise me something.”
The room fell silent as Aurora and Bela locked eyes. Bela nodded, her expression serious. Aurora takes another deep breath.
“You have to promise me that no matter what happens...”
C͟o͟m͟e͟ o͟n
“You…”
S͟a͟y͟ i͟t͟ c͟o͟w͟a͟r͟d͟
Aurora took a shaky inhale before letting the words fall out of her mouth.
“You have to promise you won't fall in love with me."
Bela's posture stiffened, her face gave nothing away. She simply crossed her arms over her chest.

.
Bela: “That won't be a problem.”

𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞
Pt.1 | Pt.2 | Pt.3 | Pt.4 | Pt.5 | Pt.6
Angie and Daniela were in the living room watching a movie when Aurora walked in. The redhead immediately shifted her focus to the door, like a puppy who gets excited when its owner gets home. That excited look, however, slipped right off as she saw the two people who were walking in with her.
Daniela: "Bela?"
Angie pirked up, looking over the couch to see Bela, Mia, and her roommate, who had just walked in. Aurora gives them a hello and a wave as the other two make their way into her room. The brunette yanks Bela back by the shirt.
"Aren't you going to say hi to your sister, Bela?"
Aurora asked with a sweet voice, the grip on Bela's shirt totally contradicting her sweet tone. Mia snickered, watching from inside the room as Bela and Aurora were having a stare-off. The blonde let out a sigh, turning towards her sister.
Bela: "Hi Dani."
Daniela stuttered a hello back, and that's when Aurora finally let the blonde into her room. The brunette turned back to her roommates with a smile on her face.
"We're going to be busy with council work; don't let us distract you from your fun."
Angie sniggers at Aurora's interaction with Bela before giving her a thumbs up and turning back to the TV. Daniela just looked between Aurora's room door and the brunette, a look of confusion and curiosity on her face.
Daniela: "How long is Bela staying here?"
"She's staying the night; I've already called Cassandra; she'll be here later too."
Daniela's face lit up, giving Aurora a bright smile and a nod before turning around to watch TV with Angie. Aurora sighs, finally turning around to see Mia looking around her room like a curious little child, and Bela with an annoyed look on her face.
Bela: "I have more important things to do than stay the night."
"Too bad."
Aurora passes by Bela towards her closet, opening it. She looks on the inside, catching a glimpse of the wooden box her mother had put the stuff her grandmother gave her in.
She couldn't reach it.
Aurora groans, turning back to look at Bela, who, if her heart wasn't missing, she could probably give her a better cocky grin than right now.
"Can you, uh, get the box for me, please?"
Bela scoffs at Aurora's request but reluctantly walks over to the closet. She reached up, putting one hand on Aurora's hips to "keep balance," and grabbed the wooden box, handing it to Aurora.
Bela: "Here."
The brunette shot her a curious glance, which Bela just looked away from.
"Thank you, Bela."
Mia: "Really? Right in front of my switchblade."
Aurora jumped away from Bela, the both of them looking towards the third person in the room, who was just playing around with her switchblade on Aurora's bed.
Mia: "You two really know how to put on a show. It's like watching a rom-com, but less funny."
Aurora rolled her eyes, clearly unamused by Mia's commentary. She sat down next to Mia, who was twirling her switchblade in her hand. Bela stood next to them as Aurora opened the box.
Inside were several small jars filled with dried herbs, each labeled with handwritten notes. There was a mixture of lavender, sage, rosemary, and other plants.
Beside the jars, there was a necklace adorned with a small charm in the shape of a circle with the symbol of a gorgoneion. Aurora held it up, examining it carefully.
This is the necklace Grandma wore before she was diagnosed with dementia. Mom had told me Grandma lost it.
Mia: "That thing is ugly."
Mia said, reaching out to touch it. Aurora smacked her hand away, giving her a glare, before placing the necklace back in the box.
At the bottom of the box, there was an old, worn-down book. The book Aurora was looking for. Its pages were yellowed and frayed, showing signs of countless years, even centuries, of use. Aurora ran her fingers over the weathered cover before opening the book.
Bela: "Are you kidding me?"
The book was in another unknown language.
Bela, who had her arms crossed and was tapping her foot down on the ground, let out a frustrated sigh.
Bela: "Do you have any idea what it says?"
"Actually yeah."
Mia raised a brow at Aurora.
Mia: "You do? It just looks gibberish to me."
Aurora looked up from the ancient book, a glimmer of excitement in her eyes.
"Now I understand why grandma made me study Greek."
Bela: "So, what does it say?"
Aurora's eyes scanned the pages, her finger tracing the intricate symbols and glyphs.
"There's a lot of spells, rituals, and even curse-breakers, but I'll have to actually look through it thoroughly."
In that instance, the door of the room flew open.
Cassandra: "Hey dork!"
Aurora looked up from the book, a smile spreading across her face as she saw Cassandra standing at the doorway.
"Hey loser."
Cassandra paused for a moment, a look of surprise on her face, when she spotted her older sister in the room.
Cassandra: "I didn't know you would be here."
Aurora chuckled, closing the ancient book and placing it back into the wooden box.
"Yeah, she was kind of forced to be here."
Bela grumbled at Aurora's comment before making her way out of the room. Cassandra grinned, following behind her and immediately trying to make conversation with her. Leaving Mia and Aurora in the room.
Mia: "So... Bela, uh?"
Aurora held her breath, glancing at Mia.
"What about her?"
Mia: "I don't know; you always chose her in almost every loop before you started to choose Miranda. What was that about?"
Aurora sighed, her gaze turning distant as memories flooded back.
N͟o͟t͟ g͟o͟o͟d͟ e͟n͟o͟u͟g͟h͟.͟
"My past lives with Miranda came back first before the ones in the loops."
Mia looked almost guilty as suddenly Aurora's green eyes grew absent of the joy that was there only a moment ago. The abrupt change was off-putting. Mia reaches her hand out to comfort her friend, who immediately flinches away from her.
Mia: "Sorry... You know I'm not going to hurt you, right?”
.
.
.
Aurora: "I've heard you say those words before."
Mia could feel her heart sinking as Aurora stood up and walked out of the room. That feeling quickly turned to anger as she hit the surface of the bed repeatedly before jerking forward to cover her face with her hands.
Mia: "Fuck!"

Pt.1 | Pt.2 | Pt.3 | Pt.4 | Pt.5
Aurora made it to class just as the bell rang. She sat down, immediately getting a text message from Cassandra.
CASSI🎭
HEY YOU MADE IT TO CLASS IN TIME?
You're not going to believe me, but even though I fell and ate shit, I still made it in time—just barely!
🤣
YOU SURE YOU DONT HAVE A CONCUSSION?
🖕
Aurora smiled at her phone but placed it down when someone sat next to her.
?: "Hey, what’s got you smiling at your phone?”
Aurora’s breath hissed as she looked at the unhinged psychopath who tried and did stab her in other loops. Her hands trembled, but she tucked them neatly on her lap, trying to seem less panicked.
"Nothing, just my dumb theater friend texting me.”
Mia grinned, scooting over her chair closer to Aurora.
Mia: “Oh yeah, is she like your best friend?”
Aurora's breath got caught in her throat before she let out a shaky breath and finally managed to calm her nerves, giving Mia a calm smile.
"Nah, I already have a best friend.”
Mia frowned a little, resting her head on her arms.
Mia: “Oh yeah, who?”
"Oh, you know, just someone named Mia Winter? You know, it doesn’t really matter in what life I’m in; she just seems to follow me in almost every single one. She has been acting like a bitch, though, and I mean, who the hell stabs their best friend?”
Mia quickly stood straight in her chair, a look of shock on her face. She opens her mouth, but Aurora quickly excuses herself from the class, saying that something has come up, and sprints away. A few moments later, she could hear someone sprinting behind her.
shit. Shit. Shit!
Aurora walks out of the theater quickly, running to the forest, not noticing that Ms. President was looking at her from afar. The blonde frowns at seeing Mia come after the brunette, not shortly after.
Tumblr media
Mia made it to the lake in the forest, looking around nervously, almost afraid.
Mia: “Hey Aurora, no hard feelings, right? I didn’t mean to stab you; I just... I wanted my best friend back!”
She took out her switchblade, opening and closing it again and again as she looked around, getting frustrated when she didn’t hear anything back.
Mia: “I don’t know how you remember me now, but it’s obvious that it wasn’t Miranda’s doing... She promised! She promised she would bring you back; that’s why—
Mia fell to the floor, unconscious. We see Aurora behind her, holding a big branch in her hands and breathing heavily. She put it down and grabbed Mia, putting her in a place where she wouldn’t get hurt or hurt others. Aurora turned around, looking at the lake. She cautiously walked towards it and sighed when she saw her reflection.
“Lᴏᴏᴋ ᴡʜᴏ ᴅᴇᴄɪᴅᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴏᴍᴇ ʙᴀᴄᴋ.”
"Well, hello to you too.”
Her reflection chuckled, and Aurora smiled while sitting down in front of the lake.
“This is weird as hell.”
“Tᴇʟʟ ᴍᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ɪᴛ ᴏɴᴇ ᴍɪɴᴜᴛᴇ ʏᴏᴜ’ʀᴇ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴠᴏɪᴅ ᴍɪssɪɴɢ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴡɪғᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ᴋɪᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ɴᴏᴡ I’ᴍ sᴛᴜᴄᴋ ɪɴ ᴛʜɪs ʟᴀᴋᴇ ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ᴏɴʟʏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ sᴇᴇ ᴍᴇ.”
Aurora tilts her head, trying to comprehend everything that the spirit is telling her.
“Yᴏᴜ’ʀᴇ ᴀ Bᴜᴅʀɪᴏʟɪ.”
“That’s my last name, yeah.”
“Sᴏ ʏᴏᴜ’ʀᴇ ᴀ ᴡɪᴛᴄʜ.”
“I’m sorry, what?”
The spirit in the lake chuckled with a nervous tone and uncertainty in her voice.
“Yᴇᴀʜ ᴀʀᴇɴ’ᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴀ ᴡɪᴛᴄʜ. A ᴅᴇsᴄᴇɴᴅᴀɴᴛ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ Bᴜᴅʀɪᴏʟɪ ʙʟᴏᴏᴅʟɪɴᴇ, ʙʟᴇssᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ sᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ ʜᴇᴀʟɪɴɢ ᴀʙɪʟɪᴛɪᴇs?”
The two stare at each other, the breeze blowing against Aurora’s hair.
.
.
.
“I thought my grandma was having another dementia episode when she started talking about witches, but uh, I have like a book of witchcraft...? And other stuff she left me there, all in a box back at the dorm.”
Aurora scratched her neck, letting out a nervous laugh. The spirit squinted her eyes at her with a judgmental look in her eyes.
“Yᴏᴜ’ʀᴇ ᴛᴇʟʟɪɴɢ ᴍᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʙᴇʟɪᴇᴠᴇᴅ ʏᴏᴜʀ ɢʀᴀɴᴅᴍᴀ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ sʜᴇ sᴀɪᴅ?”
"Hey, she said crazy shit all the time; how was I supposed to know that one was true?“
“Oᴋᴇʏ, ᴏᴋᴇʏ, ғɪɴᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴀ ᴘᴏɪɴᴛ.”
“Thank you!”
Aurora stood up, looking down at her reflection with a hand on her hip.
“So what exactly is the point in all of this?”
"Well, to bring me back, of course. If you do, Miranda will leave you and your friends alone.”
Aurora’s eyes widen.
They’ll be free.
"Okay, I’ll do it. If this will stop the loops, I’ll do it.”
The reflection smiled brightly before a look of shock appeared on her face, and she disappeared, turning into Aurora’s normal reflection.
What the hell?
?: “So you remember the loops?”
Aurora turned around to see a familiar face standing behind her. It was Bela; she had her arms crossed, waiting for an answer.
Aurora nodded, her expression filled with both confusion and relief.
"Yes, I remember the loops.“
Bela is silent for a moment before she walks closer to Aurora, cupping her face gently. There was still no expression on her face, but Aurora still couldn’t hold back the content sigh that left her lips.
Bela: “Are you okay? I saw Mia following you.”
Aurora stepped back, a chuckle leaving her lips, before she pointed to the closes tree to them.
"Well, I didn't want her to hurt me or herself, so I duct-taped her to the tree.”
In the moment, Mia woke up trashing around. Aurora just smiled at her, and Bela looked at Mia with a distasteful look on her face.
Bela: “Where did you even get duct tape?”
“That’s for me to know and for you to find out.”
The blonde rolled her eyes, a tired sigh leaving her lips.
Bela: “Okay then.”
Aurora nods before walking close to Mia and untaping her mouth.
Mia: "Ow, Aurora, what the fuck!”
“You’re going to help me or not?”
Mia: “Of course I am dumb ass; you’re my best friend.
“Good.”

𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞
Pt.1 | Pt.2 | Pt.3 | Pt.4
Aurora stretched, letting out a yawn as she walked down the sidewalk before reaching her destination and sitting down at one of the tables in front of the cafe.
“Hey loser.”
Cassandra looks up at Aurora, processing her words. The diva just gives her a humorless look before looking down at the papers on the table.
Cassandra: “You’re not funny.”
Aurora just grins at this, resting her head on her arms as she watches Cassandra work.
"Oh, I’m sorry.”
Cassandra doesn’t say anything and just continues working. Aurora frowns.
Don’t tell me she’s mad... Well, I have been a little rude to her.
S͟h͟e͟ k͟i͟l͟l͟e͟d͟ y͟o͟u͟.͟
Shut up.
“So… I heard you have a hate club now.”
Cassandra pauses for a moment, looking up at Aurora.
Cassandra: “I do?”
Aurora nods lazily, picking up a piece of paper to get a look at it.
"Yeah, the fuck Cassandra Dimitrescu club or something like that. I think it is led by some gal named Sam. Im not sure to be honest.”
Cassandra laughs at this, literally wiping tears from her eyes from how hard she was laughing. Aurora just looked at her with a smile.
Cassandra: “Are you serious?”
She laughs a little more before a smirk makes its way to her face.
Cassandra: Well, I guess loving me wasn’t enough, uh?
And here we go again.
Aurora rolls her eyes at her.
“Okay, calm down, you overcaffeinated theater kid.”
Cassandra looks overly offended by the remark before lifting up her cup of coffee and dinking from it. Aurora chuckles and leans back in her chair, crossing her arms.
"Oh, come on. You know they're just jealous of your talent and fabulousness."
Cassandra raises an eyebrow, putting her cup down with a mix of amusement and curiosity on her face.
Cassandra: "Really?"
Aurora nods, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she leans closer to Cassandra.
"Absolutely. I mean, who wouldn't be jealous of someone as talented, confident, and stunning as you?"
Cassandra smirks, seemingly enjoying the flattery.
Oh man, this is probably getting to her head.
Cassandra: "Well, I can't blame them. It's not easy being this amazing."
Aurora playfully rolls her eyes again.
"Oh, please. You're not fooling anyone with that modest act."
Cassandra chuckles and goes back to her work, but Aurora can see a hint of satisfaction on her face.
"So, are you going to do anything about this 'hate club'?"
Cassandra shrugs nonchalantly.
Cassandra: "Nah, let them have their fun. It's not like their opinions matter to me."
She moves some papers around, staking them together before putting them away on a binder and inside her bag. She perks up at the sound of the cafe door opening.
Cassandra: “Coffee!”
The Diva exclaims, bouncing on her feet and turning to Aurora.
Cassandra: “I’m going for more coffee. Wanna come with?”
Aurora nods, standing up as they both enter the cafe. She stays behind Cassandra, who walks up to Elena with a smile.
Cassandra: “I’ll have the usual.”
Cassandra turns to Aurora.
Cassandra: “Pick something, whatever; it’s on me.”
Aurora approaches Elena and looks at the menu. The barista gives the both of them a knowing look.
Elena: “Walk of shame?”
"Nah, I don’t want any diseases.”
She continues to look at the menu, ignoring Cassandra, who was choking on her coffee in the background. Elena looks slightly amused, snickering to herself.
Elena: "Well, I haven’t heard that one before.”
Aurora just smiles at her and asks for a latte. Elena nods before heading to the back to make their order. By the time the brunette turns around, she can see Cassandra sitting down on a table with a frown on her face. She makes her way to her, sitting down on the chair in front of her.
“You mad?”
Cassandra: “Asshole.”
Aurora raises an eyebrow at Cassandra's response, a playful smirk on her face.
Aurora: "Oh, come on, Cassie. Can’t take a little teasing from what you called me again. Oh yeah, a feisty girl.
Cassandra sighs and shakes her head, unable to hide the hint of a smile on her lips.
Cassandra: "Sometimes I wonder why I put up with you after all this time."
Aurora pauses for a moment, looking at Cassandra strangely. The Diva looks at her for a moment before she awkwardly sinks into her seat, a flustered look on her face.
Cassandra: Well, you know, I don’t normally do this thing with people, so...
Cassandra tries to find the words, and Aurora just looks at the brunette; her eyes soften at her awkwardness.
“So I’m special.”
Cassandra freezes in place.
Cassandra: “Uh…”
Elena: “Oder for Cassandra!”
Cassandra quickly snapped out of it, standing up to get the two coffees and almost tripping when she stood up from her chair. Aurora looked at her with amusement, and you could hear Elena laugh before Cassandra glared at her. Cassandra grabs the two coffees, staying to talk with Elena for a few minutes. That’s when Aurora hears the door ring, and before she knows it, she has the three Stans in front of her.
“May I help you?”
They don’t answer her; the three just give her nasty looks before Rebecca steps forward with a smirk.
Rebecca: “Hu, you must be the new skank.”
The other two behind her chuckle, and Aurora can’t do anything but just look at them unimpressed.
Bitch, I just got here.
Cassandra finally decided to come back and got beside Aurora.
Cassandra: "Hey, what are you lovely ladies doing?”
The Stans are immediately all over her, and Aurora can see the almost unseen look of discomfort on Cassandra’s face.
Rebecca: “Oh, Cassandra, we were just keeping her some company.”
The blonde looks at Aurora with a smirk.
Rebecca: “She seems lonely.”
No, she didn’t.
Cassandra raises her eyebrow, looking in Aurora’s direction. The brunette just smiles at her before standing up, taking her coffee from Cassandra, and dumping it on Rebecca. The blonde screamed dramatically before noticing that the coffee wasn’t hot anymore but that it still ruined her outfit. The other two behind her just look shock like deer in headlights.
Rebecca: “You bitch!”
Rebecca looked livid and ready to pounce on Aurora. The brunette just grinned before grabbing Cassandra’s hand and sprinting out of the cafe.
Tumblr media
The two managed to get a few blocks away and lose the Stans in an alleyway next to the pizzeria.
Cassandra: “What the hell is wrong with you?”
Cassandra exclaimed out of breath, but with a present smile on her face, Aurora lifted her hand up as she hunched over, still catching her breath. She chuckled.
Aurora: Hey, she deserved it.
Cassandra shakes her head with a pleased look on her face. That’s when Aurora's phone goes off.
“Ah man, I’m late for my theater class.”
Cassandra: “Shit, I’m late too.”
The two look at each other before Aurora smirks and boops Cassandra's nose.
“Race you to the university!”
Aurora laughs mischievously as she sprints away, leaving Cassandra standing there with a mix of confusion and surprise on her face.
Cassandra: Wha… Oh, you little-
She quickly gathers herself and starts running after Aurora, laughing when she sees the brunette trip halfway.

𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞
Pt.1 | Pt.2 | Pt.3
"And then she said, 'You don't look like an artist.' She called me subpar and said that the art club had a reputation to uphold or whatever."
Aurora kicked a rock from the pathway as Daniela and she walked around the club fair. She had met with the redhead a while ago and processed to tell her what a bitch Joana was.
This happens every single time I try to join the club through the club fair; why am I even angry at this point?
Daniela: "You know, I could ask my mom to let you enter the club; she kind of runs it."
Daniela gave her a sheepish smile. She looked embarrassed for some reason. Aurora just smiled at her and waved it off. She already knew what she wanted to do in this loop.
"Nah, I'm good. I'll just join the student council or something."
Daniela's expression changed to concern.
Daniela: "Are you sure all the people there are overworked, and don't you, uh, have theater or something?"
Aurora had literally mentioned her theater class briefly during their walk; she was kind of surprised Daniela actually remembered.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me overworking myself. I've been involved in multiple projects since high school. My family wasn't well off either, so I used to work too; I'm basically used to juggling multiple things."
Daniela seemed even more concerned now, but Aurora reassured her, putting her hand on Daniela's shoulder and giving it a gentle squeeze.
"Besides, I'll have you to keep me grounded, right?"
Daniela stared at the brunette for a moment; her face slowly flushed red, giving Aurora a shy nod.
Daniela: "Y-yeah, totally!"
Aurora laughed before giving Daniela a playful nudge and smirking at her.
"No need to be shy, Dani."
Dani flushed redder, laughing bashfully, and the two continued walking until they finally came across the student council table. Daniela looked nervous while staying behind Aurora, who just casually walked up to the table. The first to make eye contact with her was the blonde goddess, whom she gave a bright smile to.
"Hello, I would like to join the student council."
Bela, of course, looks just as indifferent as always, which kind of made Aurora's heart ache given the circumstances of Bela's heart. The weird thing was how Bela didn't say a word; her gaze was just flickering on Aurora's face as if looking for something. That's when another council member stepped in.
Jasmin: “Do you want to join?”
Aurora turns to Jasmin, still feeling Bela's eyes on her.
"Yeah, I was wondering if there were any spots open, like maybe the first-year representative, but anything is good, to be honest."
Jasmin turns to Bela, who still seems to be in a trance. She gives the blonde a weird look before turning to Casey, who just whispers something about finally someone wanting to join the council.
Bela: "I assume you know the kind of work you'll have to deal with if you're asking for that position specifically, right?"
Aurora looks surprised when Bela finally speaks. Turning toward the blonde with a grin and nodding, she meets Bela's gaze.
"Of course I do, Ms. President."
The brunette said, way too confidently. Jasmine and Casey shoot a look at each other, knowing how Bela normally reacts to people like this, but to their surprise, Bela's expression seems to soften slightly as she observes Aurora. After a moment of silence, she finally spoke.
Bela: "Very well. I'll see you tomorrow in the student council room at 8 p.m. sharp."
Aurora couldn't hide her excitement as she thanked Bela and the other council members. She turned to Daniela, who had been anxiously watching the interaction.
Daniela: "Yay, you got in."
Aurora raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms while tapping her foot on the floor.
"Well, you don't sound that excited for me at all."
Daniela: "I'm just worried about you, okay?"
The two stare at each other.
.
.
.
"You think Angie is still in the fridge?"
Daniela: "Shit."
Tumblr media
False alarm Angie has not frozen to death; she is currently passed out on the couch. Aurora and Daniela let out a sigh of relief. The brunette went to sit on a chair by the kitchen counter, while Daniela went to her room to clean her skateboard for the club. That's when your phone gets a notification.

I’m going to post my story here instead; I find it easier, so... here, enjoy.
Tumblr media
𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞
Pt.1 | Pt.2 |
Taking a deep breath, Aurora tried to steady her racing heart and calm her trembling hands. She reached out for her phone on the nightstand to turn off her alarm. A sigh left her lips when she looked at the time. She stood up from the bed to get herself ready for whatever was on the other side of the door. While she did that, her mind was racing with questions, memories, and, of course, anxiety.
The urge to remember and to hold onto every detail of the torment she had experienced—the torment they had experienced—consumed her. She couldn't let it slip away, as if it were all just a dream.
It was real; she knew it was.
Aurora's thoughts were cut short as soon as she heard a ruckus outside her room. Her roommates were already awake. She smiled at this and chuckled when she could hear them bickering from the other side of the door.
Aurora finally got herself ready for the day, hoping to figure things out along the way. She took a deep breath before finally opening the door and seeing her two roommates by the kitchen counter. Daniela's back was facing her as Angie had a shit-eating grin on her face and held a bottle of vodka in hand. Aurora smiled upon hearing them still arguing with each other like siblings, but her smile quickly faltered when she caught a glimpse of their conversation.
Daniela: "Angie, you don't understand it felt so...real...I swear, I've seen her completely naked before."
Aurora lifted an eyebrow at this; she definitely didn't expect to hear something like that so early in the morning.
Dani, what the fuck?
As if Angie could hear Aurora's thoughts, she looked behind Daniela while taking a sip of her bottle of vodka and immediately spitting it out when she saw her. Daniela became startled at this as Angie coughed, hitting her chest with her hand.
Daniela: "Wow, Angie, you good?"
Angie didn't answer her and just played it cool, resting her head on her hand and smiling sheepishly at the girl behind the redhead.
Angie: "Hey, roomie~"
Daniela tensed up as if she had just been caught cheating on a test. Before turning on her seat to look at the brunette, but never making eye contact with her. Aurora gave the redhead a puzzled look but quickly shrugged it off, smiling again at them.
"Morning, what were you guys talking about?"
Angie: "Oh, nothing, just-"
Daniela: "Nothing! We were talking about nothing!"
There was a pause in the room before hearing snickering from Angie, who seemed to be trying hard not to laugh. Daniela shrank on herself at the sound of her own voice, scratching the back of her neck nervously. Aurora just laughed half-heartedly before checking the time on her phone again.
“So uh... Are any of you coming to check out the club fair?”
Daniela perks up quickly, standing up from the chair.
Daniela: “I am! I’ll come with you!”
Daniela paused for a moment, probably realizing how desperate she sounded, before quickly backing down.
Daniela: “I mean, if you want me to.”
Aurora was about to answer before her eyes trailed over to Angie, who was getting inside the fridge.
This bitch.
Daniela turned in the direction Aurora was facing. Her face had a calm smile as she saw Angie closing the fridge door. She turned back towards the green-eyed girl, chuckling at her amused look.
Daniela: “Yeah… She does that sometimes.”
“Oh, I know—I mean, I don’t! I just…”
Aurora stutters for a moment before getting her thoughts sorted.
“I just had friends that do weird things like that—a good type of weird, of course!”
Daniela grins, nodding her head.
Daniela: “Yeah, I understand those types of friends are the best.”
Aurora seems to calm down, smiling back at Daniela before finally changing the subject.
“Anyways… Are you ready to head to the club fair?”
Daniela: “Sure, let me get changed, and we’ll go.”
Tumblr media
The two were currently at the cafe, deciding that getting something to eat was better than heading to the club fair with an empty stomach. Aurora had a hard time coming up with a conversation, not wanting to say something that only Daniela’s close friends should know.
She was supposed to be a stranger.
Daniela just met you; don’t make her think you’re weird.
Aurora took a sip from her coffee, and that’s when Daniela decided to start a conversation.
Daniela: “So… You’re joining the art club, right?”
Aurora tilted her head, resting it on her hand and putting her coffee down.
"Yeah, how'd you know?”
Daniela tensed up as if she realized the mistake that she had made before trying to play it cool and quickly relaxing.
Daniela: “Uh, you look like a very artistic person.”
“If wearing a white crotchet sweater and refusing to switch out of a skirt no matter how cold it gets makes me an artistic person, then I guess.”
Daniela laughs, making Aurora smile and reach up to fidget with her black shocker.
“What about you? What club are you joining?”
Daniel: “I might join the skateboard club!”
Aurora raised an eyebrow, looking at Daniela with false surprise.
"Skateboard club? That's awesome! I wish I could skateboard; if I tried, I would probably fall and die... of embarrassment, of course.”
Daniela chuckled, leaning forward more as she drank her coffee with way too much sugar in it.
Daniela: “How about I teach you? It isn’t that hard; you just have to find your balance.”
Aurora just smiled, looking at Daniela, who seemed to be getting more comfortable with her, just like before, which made Aurora’s heart melt.
“I’ll think about it, yeah?”
Daniela nodded before the both of them were interrupted by someone putting a cup of coffee on their table.
Cassandra: “Hey Dani, who’s your friend?”
Daniela grins uncomfortably at Aurora before turning to Cassandra, who isn’t even looking at her. The Diva's eyes focus on Aurora, looking her up and down from her long, wavy brown hair all the way down to her ivory legs.
I totally forgot how shameless Cassandra can be. Yeah, why don’t you just eye-fuck me?
Daniela: "Hey, Cass. She’s Aurora, my roommate; we were just grabbing a bite before heading to the club fair.”
Cassandra: Aurora, uh? I swear I’ve seen a girl as gorgeous as you in my dreams~
Aurora can see Daniela cringing from the corner of her eye. She smiled, looking at Cassandra as dreamily as possible.
“Is that the best you have, Ms. Casanova?”
Cassandra looks slightly taken back by the brunette’s response before smirking.
Cassandra: Oh, you’re feisty. I can work with feisty~
Taking a playful sip of her coffee, Aurora raised an eyebrow at Cassandra's flirtatious comment.
“Sorry to disappoint; I'm not really looking for a relationship right now.”
Cassandra's smirk faltered slightly, but she quickly recovered and leaned closer to Aurora.
Cassandra: “Oh, don't worry, sweetheart. I'm not one to force anyone into anything they're not comfortable with. I'm just here to appreciate beauty when I see it.”
Aurora chuckled, amused by Cassandra's persistence.
“Well, you’re really going to have to try harder than that theater nerd."
Daniela snigger, making Cassandra turned to her sister, her face heating up, feeling embarrassed. Aurora casually stood up, giving Cassandra a piece of paper.
"Here, maybe you could do better through text. I doubt it though. Come on, Dani, let’s go to the club fair.”

I am currently crying in my empty living room.
Can anyone make an edit of Bela or Donna with this song?
The part where it goes:
“It hurts to be something,
it's worse to be nothing with you.
I've done the math, there's no solution, we'll never last.
Why can't I let go of this?”
It just hits so hard!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

To Break Away From Fate
This is an OC x RL Story
Something's wrong...
Something's terribly wrong.
I keep remembering — I keep remembering.
My heart has no pity on me.
I hurt them.
I hurt them because I chose them.
What happened? How did this happen? I only thought it was a joke. I thought that Bella had finally gone mad from all the stress and work she did.
I just wanted to help.
I didn't believe in it. In the loops, the school being a cult, but then I started to remember the other time lines and all the outcomes. I felt sick; I didn't want this, but fate didn't give you a choice.
SHE didn't give you a choice.
Miranda: "We belong together, don't you understand? It doesn't matter how many times you resist me or how many times I have to restart. The loop will only stop when you are who you are meant to be. When you finally come back to me, that is what fate has planned for us."
I almost laughed at her words, "When you are who you are meant to be," after I chose her. She wants me to change completely to be like the ghost of her lover.
I finally chose her.
I chose her so many times, and yet...
YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH...
And suddenly, all that sadness turned to ANGER.
"I don't give a fuck about your Fate."
I clenched my fists so tightly that I felt like I might draw blood from my palms with my nails.
I almost wish I did.
You deserved it.
"They didn't deserve that, and you know that. I'll never be that woman you fell in love with, and you know it."
And just like that, the facade Miranda had been putting up shattered in an instant. Once she discovered that it wasn't 'me', her face immediately turned cold. She made her way toward me.
Miranda: "I see... this loop seems to be another failure."
I backed away from her, a startled look on my face as I looked around her office. I knew what those words meant, and I knew exactly what came next, but where was she—
?: "That's too bad. I was finally starting to like this version of you."
A deep voice behind me said. There was an ease in her tone, like she was amused by the boldness of my words. As if she had been here the whole time.
My breath hissed as I turned slowly, thinking maybe I could talk my way out of this. If she kills me...
I don't want to forget everything.
You'll forget.

Tᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ғᴏʀᴇsᴛ...
sᴀғᴇ
"What the hell?"
My vision became blurry as a strange voice called out to me. My mind dissociated, seeing a vision of a small lake surrounded by trees.
Tʜᴇ ғᴏʀᴇsᴛ
I groaned, my vision finally coming back. Mia's knife was the first thing I saw as she swung it at me. My body jerked back as my hand grabbed onto the blade, pulling Mia towards me before I delivered a kick to her stomach, knocking the air out of her. I didn't even feel the blood running down my palm as the adrenaline built up in my body.
Rᴜɴ
An exit I need to get out of here, but Miranda and Mia were blocking the only door, so I did what any person under the influence of adrenaline would do... I jumped out the window, but not before getting attacked by Cornelius, who scratched my face, leaving a nasty cut on my cheek. I smacked him away, finally jumping out of the office and sprinting towards the forest. My body moved on its own, taking several turns before it finally stopped. I hunched over, catching my breath, and looking around.
It was the lake—the lake I saw before.
A feeling of comfort and safety overwhelmed me as I walked closer to the lake. I tilted my head, looking at my reflection in the water. My tired self could only manage to lift my eyebrows in surprise, my expression shifting to a frown as I got on my knees to get a better look at my reflection.
It was me.
Yeah, no shit... but my clothes looked different—a 1960s type of style.
"What?"
I reached my hand toward my reflection. My hand touched the water, dyeing the water red. I hissed at the pain, finally feeling the wounds that were inflicted on me. My hand didn't pass the surface of the water, leaving me confused until my reflection smiled softly at me. My soul almost left my body as I jumped back.
"What the fuck!"
It was quiet for a second before I heard a merry laugh coming from the lake.
"Wᴇʟʟ, ʜᴇʟʟᴏ ᴛᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴛᴏᴏ."
I didn't dare to move at this point, questioning if I was going insane... already.
"Hᴇʟʟᴏ, ᴀʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜ sᴛɪʟʟ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ?"
Okey, so I have officially gone insane.
I let out a shaky sigh before standing up and wobbling back to the lake, feeling dizzy. My reflection tilted her head, a frown on her face.
"Yᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ ʙʟᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ ᴏᴜᴛ."
I nodded very carelessly, the words not really processing in my head. I felt a cold sensation all over my body, my muscles aching as I lay down next to the lake, trying to listen to whatever my reflection was saying.
"Sᴏ ᴀs ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ ᴛᴇʟʟ, I'ᴍ ʏᴏᴜ, ʙᴜᴛ, ᴡᴇʟʟ, ɴᴏᴛ ʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ. I'ᴍ ᴀ ᴘᴀsᴛ sᴘɪʀɪᴛ, ᴀɴᴅ I ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴇxᴀᴄᴛʟʏ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴀ sᴏᴜʟ sɪɴᴄᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴋɴᴏᴡ I'ᴍ ᴅᴇᴀᴅ—"
I steadied my breath, feeling like I was having difficulty breathing, and closed my eyes when my vision was going black on the edges.
"Sᴏ I ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ sɪɴᴄᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʟᴀsᴛ ɴᴀᴍᴇ ɪs Bᴜᴅʀɪᴏʟɪ, ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴏᴜʟᴅ ʜᴇʟᴘ ᴍᴇ sɪɴᴄᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴀɴᴄᴇsᴛᴏʀs ᴡᴇʀᴇ—"
The sound of pounding blocked the voice speaking to me, and I could hear my heart slowly stopping before everything was quiet.
It was quite, still, so peaceful...
Until a voice broke the peaceful silence and another and another. They're here again. Too many voices. Too many memories. They all overlapped over one another, and then... they started to make sense.
"...Eva!!"
"We'll bring her back..."
"—choose you every time-"
"Romeo-"
"—star.."
"...worried about you-"
"—wait in the car for me—"
"...no matter where we go-"
"—roses look good on you..."
"you were going to leave-"
"...Italian will do won't it?"
"—I won't let you go..."
"...believe me..."
"—love and be loved."
"—doesn't matter how many times I have to do this, who you go to, what you do, I will reset this as many times as I fucking HAVE TO!
*beep*
*beep*
*beep*
Drenched in sweat and with a racing heart, Aurora jolted up, finally waking up. She looked around the room, a sigh leaving her lips as she noticed she was in her dorm room.
.
.
.
Wait a minute. Shouldn't she be back with her friends in the apartment? She shouldn't be at the university yet.
"What the hell is going on?"
