My gastric sleeve was done 02/02/18

After surgery I threw up a lot what looked like foamy blood and more dark looking blood. It was scary to throw up because I was afraid my stitches would open ... doctors made me stay and extra night because I couldn’t keep liquids down ... water would make me throw up. I started to chew the ice and spitting out because my mouth was so dry. Today I feel much better but If I eat too fast I get some heartburn and I do not enjoy that ... I’m trying to drink my liquids slower, now I count 30 seconds in between sips.. sometimes if I drink my broth or liquid veggies or my apple juice i feel short of breath and I need to stop and take a moment to breath. Eating slowly it’s key for the first week. I miss solid food very much but I’m also afraid of eating anything .. I’m actually having a hard time eating jello and the that’s the most solid thing I’ve had since a week ago... I don’t get hunger pains but I have felt hungry but nothing a sip of water didn’t calm... I have a week and a half left of my liquid diet and I’m going back to work on Tuesday. It’s a total ride and the first months are going to be really hard but all I can do it’s keep going... any tips or questions fell free to message me
