26-31/365 days of exploring procreate as experiment

so i decided to share challenges and tutorials as well as my original illustrations

i found this 5 minutes challenge on youtube. the point is you are given the reference once a day (as you can see reference can be just whatever) and try to sketch it in 5 minutes. not perfect at all, but it’s so exciting!

it’s a great training for not being scared of blank canvas and draw something you were never going to 😁 cool experiment, i’m going to continue and there are going to be ~10 more pictures. also would be interesting to re-make these illustrations after a year or two 🌝

I wanted to make wallpapers for myself, so i ended up looking for how to make a seamless pattern. In theory it can be multiplied endlessly 🌝 i can see some mistakes now, but, anyway it’s cute so i’d keep it as my wallpaper 😁

ok so, with all this 🔥🔥summer weather🔥🔥 outside, i thought about something cold

first (and second) attempt ever to draw a cocktail 🌝 i’m gonna stop for now with step-by-step posts, ‘cause i don’t feel like a tutor or something 😁, but if you want to see some process let me know 🌸

That actually was about blurring and creating as many layers as you are not lazy to create. Don’t forget blocking alfa-layer before blurring ⛔️ Greatly satisfying, highly recommend 😁Plus! all the colours were chosen by Harmony tool ✨ which is perfect for colour-balanced creations

19.06.2022 // 9th day of exploring procreate

One of the first pictures by myself, well, I find that kinda cute 😁 It all started with a cloud i drew on my leg using pink pen during online lecture… what a story🌝

Really enjoyed creating it, feels like magic✨

Step-by-step of previous picture

🌸I’ve made a small flower brush using picture of flower from google and some tutorials. And started right away with the photo I’ve made by the station

🌸Picked the colours for the background, drew lines, coloured areas and blurred them

🌸Picked the brush and colour for the grass (took me a while😂)

🌸Made flowers (kinda flower anarchy happened here🤪 no strategy) using main colours from photo and self-made brush. Then added slightly darker and lighter parts to flowers of each colour using the same brush.

🌸And added a bit more light grass, because it felt a bit empty 👀

P.S. I’m not an artist in any way, I’m just getting inspired 🌝 And looking for a new hobby. So there are obviously mistakes, but everything takes time, it was just the 9th day of me exploring procreate 🤪

One of the first pictures I made myself after seeing these beautiful flowers on the railway station. It’s rather abstractive, but anyway, I kinda like it 🌝
