Imagine Haruna pouring tea into the cups of her two friends, as they happily chat away and catch up on their lives.

“Ah, and Ayumi has won second place in her art contest at school. She really has talent with a pencil.”

Hinoe, although soft-spoken and modest, couldn’t help but boast just a little bit about her younger sister’s achievements.

“Shinozaki is such a wonderful pupil-I’m so happy to have her in my class.”

Kuon chuckles, taking a sip of her tea.

“Sometimes I wish Ai would focus more on her studies, as well…she’s so bright, but just not that interested in school.”

Haruna sits by quietly, content enough to listen to her friends talk-until Hinoe turns to her to chuckle, before asking something.

“Haruna, quiet as always. What about your little brother, Yuuya? How is he these days?”

She shifts uncomfortably in her seat for a moment or two, aware of how much complaining she’s done about her brothers in front of the two. In fact, she can barely remember a time when she ever praised Yuuya for something, at least before he became a moody adolescent.

“He’s…He’s been good lately. He’s a bit of a loner, but he’s got some good friends. He’s actually a pretty smart kid.”

The two seem happy enough that her attitude towards her siblings has improved, and her two friends met each other’s gaze.

“Little Yuuya is a handsome one, too. I wonder if he’d be interested in Aiko, teehee…”

“K-Kuon-!”

“Right? I bet Ayumi would fall head over heels if she met him in person, eheh.”

“H-Hinoe, not you too!”

Yukie Suzumoto and Natsumi Nakashima coming over to one another's house during the time their kids had disappeared to Heavenly Host and deciding to support one another during a difficult time. Except Sachiko decides to try and make it hard to cope with the disappearance, sending images of Mayu's splattered remains and Naomi's hanged corpse to their cell phones, much to Yoshie's disapproval, since she still remembers the similar feelings she felt when she saw her daughter get killed.

Imagine Mayu pinching Shig’s cheeks, and commenting on how much he resembles a cute, grumpy little bear. Of course, he pretends to hate the nickname and reminds her of how embarrassing it is, but secretly, it makes him feel sort of special. And Mayu is the only person that’s allowed to call him as such-Yoshiki learned that the hard way, when Shig threatened to punch him right in his stupid face.

Chihaya X Kensuke?

Sorry, but we don’t do the younger age groups with the older ones. While Chihaya and Nari (And Nana) are 14, its easier to keep them to their own age group rather than put them with 16/17 year olds.

Imagine Kizami adopting a little kitten to care for, and it sits in his lap while he does homework and jumps on him excitedly once he gets home from school. It's so attached to him, that he can't sit down anywhere in his house without it climbing up and falling asleep on his lap-not that he really minds it, though.

Imagine Ryou, Tokiko, and Yuki working together to fix Sachiko’s favourite stuffed cat for her birthday. They’ve looked for its other eye for years but were never able to find it, so they’ve compensated by taking the buttons off the corpse’s jackets and comparing them until they’ve found the right size and colour. To replace its stuffing, Tokiko came up with the idea to put student’s hair inside, which actually works quite well as a substitute. None of them know how to sew either, but Yuki manages, with trial and error, to thread a needle with some spare string and close up the holes in the doll, as well as attach a nice, black button that Ryou found to it’s empty eye socket. The children clean it up and position it nicely on the nurse’s chair, before scurrying out of the infirmary to watch Sachiko walk inside. When she finds the forgotten cat, she picks it up gingerly and looks at it, before starting to cry and hugging it tightly to her chest. 

Usually at a time like this, it’s best for the children to leave her alone until she’s calmed down. But this time, the three of them come up to her and offer a group hug to help her relax, before singing a soft, slightly gurgled version of “Happy Birthday”.

Imagine Sayaka finding that Inumaru has been far too clingy lately, even more so than usual. Of course she’s heard his comments that he doesn’t care if he has friends as long as she’s around, but really, having his undivided attention 24/7 is too much for her to handle. So, the night before school, she whips up a surprise in her kitchen that will definitely teach that stupid dog a lesson.

“Haruyuki~! I’ve got a surprise for you!” 

Sayaka puts on her sweetest, most girlish voice, and practically skips up to her friend at the beginning of lunch, a box in her hands. Inumaru visibly perks up when he realizes she’s talking to him, and a toothy grin crosses his face when she plops the package into his hands. 

“I made it special, so I hope you enjoy it~!”

Ugh, she can feel her teeth start to ache from how sweet she’s acting. But Inumaru is too happy even for words, and he eagerly opens the box and takes a bite out of the treat Sayaka’s made just for him. 

“R..Raisin bread..?”

“Ha! Gotcha, you dumb mutt!”

Sayaka laughs in triumph, knowing fully well Inumaru’s strong hatred for raisin bread. She’s watched him take a bite of it just to spit it back out before, and the pride in her delicious prank is evident in the smug look on her face.

“Sayaka made this just for me? Waah, what an angel!”

Tears spring from his eyes as he bites into the bread again, his love for Sayaka outweighing his distaste for the sweet bread, and he declares that he’s going to eat every last piece. And instead of basking in the glow of her victory, she ends up having to care for him while he nurses a sore belly afterwards.
