Hi... guess what, I'm obsessed with this man, which is tough when most of his source material game aside had been WIPED off the internet... Being a Jacob fan in 2025 is like surviving on crumbs

But when I unlock a new fixation AND there's lost media involved? I get stupidly invested, it's like "Oh, you don't want me to find info about the guy...? Too bad" I'm terrible. But let's go! Let's give Jacob a taste of his own medicine and stalk him back!

Gotta give props to another Lurking for Love fan @starrgirlella for first finding about this, her pinned post started my hunt lol go check her post out too since she has screenshots of Noah Vega's corkboard (supposedly the other dateable character in the game)

Back in 2023 there was an official Neocities page about Jacob! Unfortunately, the original link to that page is dead now...

Or not quite as it turns out.

The page was just archived under a different name, and I found it ✨

Yes, it's literally called Spongebob lmfao ANYWAY you'll see that the page itself is basically just a shell of what it used to look like, but it's still accessible so there's that.

However, in case even the archived site goes down, I did take screenshots of all the info there, to ensure this stuff isn't lost even once the full game comes out & some of this might not be canon anymore.

TW: venting about joint pain

Feeling stressed today cause my hands hurt (And have been for 5 months straight now, some days less, others more)

Buh I hate ranting about health stuff but I have been trying to figure out what's wrong with my hands these past few months, and none of the tests and exams I've been put through gave me a straight answer

And I'm really tired. I love drawing, doing papercraft, writing by hand, building little things, but now it always comes with a sense of dread, I gotta be careful, because five more minutes of exerting my joints fucks up my hands for two to three weeks.

At the very least I can still draw digitally cause I can just adjust my tablet's pressure sensitivity depending on how my hand feels that day, but it's barely a win

Headcanon for alluka twin sibling reader au? Like, how would they feel (depending on their gender) of her being dehumanized and themselves treated as the "correct" version of her per the rest of the family?

I'm sorry it took so long, I like- blinked and months passed wtf That's a really cool concept, hopefully I can deliver aaaaa Apologies again for the wait, real life keeps tugging me away from HC duties.

🧸Being Alluka's twin HCs🧸

Early childhood:

The family was extremely happy to have twins, of course they were! Sure, it was going to require more effort to train two children instead of one, but the payoff would be great, everyone thought. The new generation of Zoldycks was going to be large, and would bring even more prestige to the family in the assassin world.

You and Alluka were basically treated the same. The only real difference were the clothes and hairstyles, so that people could tell you two apart.

You two were also extremely close of course, playing together, keeping each other company when the brothers were too busy... and you enjoyed messing with Killua too from time to time, something he found really fun.

As toddlers, you were also the first one to find out about Nanika. As soon as Alluka learned how to talk, requests became the order of the day. You couldn't really understand how Nanika worked though, just that if you asked her something, Alluka's face would go back to normal.

Nanika:

Together with Killua, you kids eventually figured out how Alluka switched to Nanika and vice-versa, and promised each other to keep it a secret, but of course, with butlers monitoring you all the time, it was near impossible, and eventually Kikyo and Silva were made aware of it too.

From that moment on, the grown-ups began testing Alluka's ability, and it didn't take long for her to be hidden away in that depressing room.

You were still very little at the time, but it was still jarring to have your twin be completely removed from existence. No matter how much your parents told you to forget about Alluka... that couldn't be done.

You wanted to see your sister, but every time you expressed that wish, the only answer you'd get was a stern no. You couldn't see "that THING".

Every trace of Alluka was slowly deleted from the Zoldyck manor, she'd be cut out of pictures, her belongings all brought to the bunker they kept her in, and everyone from the butlers to your parents, acted like you were the only child born that day, that whatever Alluka had been, wasn't worth remembering anymore.

Under Illumi's needle influence, even Killua seemed to have given up on Alluka, so it really felt like you were the only one who still refused to forget about her.

Despite all the intense training, all the praise, deep in your soul you heavily disagreed with how your family was handling things, how they were treating your twin as a thing. It made you realize that if you'd been the one with Nanika's powers, that would've been your fate. It brought you great dread and disgust.

We're still siblings:

It was no wonder then, that the moment Killua came back to take Alluka with him, you also followed the two.

Seeing your sister again after all those years was cathartic. She'd changed so much, you two looked like two properly different people, but your connection hadn't faded in the slightest.

You could also sense that beyond her cheerfulness, Alluka had been deeply traumatized from being hidden away for so long. You promised yourself Alluka would never have to experience that ever again.

Sometimes, you can see the guilt in her eyes for dividing the family, but you remind her every day that you don't want to be around the people who've hurt her so deeply, and that you and Killua would never regret this decision.

You feel proud, knowing that despite how much your parents tried drilling into your head that Alluka was not human, they never managed to break your spirit.

Now, you and Alluka are finally together again, and nothing was ever going to pull you two apart.
