I love the evolution of English teachers. At first it’s just like “This is alliteration. This is assonance. Please give an assignment on the meanings of alliteration and assonance.” but when you get to high school it’s like “Shakespeare had a lot of sexual references. For example, sword means penis and die means orgasm… *Later on* Also, notice how many times Shakespeare uses the word “Come.” It meant the same thing then as it does now.

Oops, I did it again.

I just ran like a mile and a half. I’ve never run more than a quarter mile before. How did I do it? Well, I kept thinking to myself “If birds can fly against the wind for hours without a single break, I can run for like 10 minutes.”

I subscribe to pretty much everyone I see on YouTube. I have that message where you have too many subscriptions for your number of subscribers, but I somehow get a few a day, except now, at 4,995. There’s nothing quite like searching up a channel your friend recommended, with only 10,000 subscribers, only to find out that I am already subbed to them.

I was talking to my mom about it and she told me it was good because they didn’t say anything, but it still got the point across very well. She told me this story about how Pixar’d always show their films to the people without audio to see if they had made a good film.

I recently went to visit Europe (the Scottish and British bits) and while I was in Oxford for a day, I learned from our tour guide that J.R.R. Tolkien sort of created 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘢. He was trying to convince the author, C.S. Lewis, that God existed, when they were roommates (I think they were roommates). He succeeded, and it influenced Lewis when he was writing 𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘢, because the lion was supposed to symbolize Jesus, where he also was sacrificed and came back to life.

Also, the lamppost from the story is right outside the room where Lewis lived, so that probably went like “Hmm, what should I put in my story? *Looks outside.* Oh, perfect!”

I remember once seeing a post about how there should’ve totally been an underwater zone in Zootopia. I’m sure you’ve seen the trailer for the second movie. We were right!

What if they saw the post?

I feel like it’s weird how games will sometimes have chickens attacking with their own eggs or flowers with their own seeds. Like, imagine being a chicken and you’re trying to stop someone, so you shoot an egg out with enough force that it actually does damage to your foe.
