i know a lot of bts’s american interviews are Bad but tbh one of their funniest moments ever is that video of namjoon asking them questions in english and one of them was “what american food do you like that you can’t get in korea” and they kept naming things they can get in korea (sprite, burgers, panda express, etc.) while namjoon became increasingly fed up. and then jimin said noodles and namjoon asked what kind of noodles and jimin was like “korean noodles :)” and you could see namjoon’s soul exiting his body

❌ Shippers ❌

I’m going to clean up my following list.

I follow many, if not only, jikook shippers/supporters but I see something happening with them I don’t like: they’re becoming like the toxic tk shippers because many are exaggerating jikook moments (I know some of them are joking but I’m talking about the ones who do it seriously) and they make fun of tk/tkers just like some tkers love to exaggerate tk moments and are always having this war against us jkers. I also don’t like to sexualize jikook moments or freak out whenever they touch or look at each other. All this is normal behavior that shippers make it into much more and that’s worrying.

Of course I’m happy whenever they are together but we shouldn’t exaggerate… am I making any sense? I just don’t see nothing special (as in more than friendship) when they’re doing skinship since that’s completely normal in korea and all the boys do it with each other or when they’re affectionate with each other, that’s also normal and it is done by all of them.

I took pride that we weren’t as delulu as other shippers but so many things have changed and we are going down the same path as tkers.

Another thing I don’t like is the rivalry with tkers. This drama with shippers divides the fandom and makes them hate the members. Many tkers hate Jimin simply because of their ship. Thankfully I haven’t seen jkers hating Tae because of the ship but I see them getting sad whenever a moment with tk happens and that’s so wrong! all BTS members love each other and I actually like tk moments, like this one:

Why do I like it? because Tae and kook are very good friends, they love each other and I love them both and they look adorable together. I love all BTS moments with each other: tk, taegi, yoonmin, jihope, vmin, namjin, jinmin etc their friendship is so beautiful so what’s there not to like? If a jk shipper feels sad or threatened when they see something like that gif☝ then they have a huge problem just like tkers who can’t stand seeing jikook together have a huge problem. Many of them haven’t even watched Jungkook’s first GCF because it features Jimin only and that kind of mentality is so sad and pathetic, we jikookers shouldn’t be like them but I see many who are slightly similar and that saddens me a lot.

And the one I see a lot lately and completely hate it: when shippers talk about their ships under BTS tweets and even in vlive 👎 anything ship related should stay very very far away from their official accounts, the boys shouldn’t see any of that. Thank god Jimin doesn’t read tweet comments but the other members do so be careful with the things you say. Let’s not become like some tkers who are like larries. I don’t want to see jikook trying to be subtle with each other for fear of how they might look like to others. This is what happened to Larry and their friendship was strained because of the shippers. So ship all you want but far away from them.

Before shipping comes their friendship. Let’s not hate any moment among the members, let’s not exaggerate jikook moments. Let’s just take it all as the beautiful friendship they have. Let’s appreciate the moments between tk. Let’s support Tae and never hate him because a ship. Let’s not become as pathetic as some taekookers who are always belittling Jimin and who don’t appreciate jikook moments.

I always saw jikookers as this mature group and there are many who are very mature but you know, the worse ones always talk the loudest. They’re so loud I wish shippers wouldn’t exist.

That’s why I don’t consider myself a shipper anymore. I do believe there’s something going on between jikook beyond friendship and the moments like the first GCF and that iconic selca are so beautiful but they are not proof of anything. What stuck to me is the members reactions when jikook are in their own world. Jikook’s tension and sweet smiles and heart eyes to each other. When Jimin flew on Valentine’s day from Japan and went home to Jungkook who was alone. When Jungkook was so happy to share a room with Jimin and lost on purpose. When Yoongi said they have an intimate relationship. When Tae said that he knows all jikook’s secrets and again, when Tae said that jikook’s relationship at home is not like how we imagine it.

But nothing is set on stone. All we have are assumptions and hints. While I do believe they have potential to become a romantic couple, I don’t believe they’re dating. They like each other a lot, that’s obvious and I will always support them whether they come out or not, whether they date other people, whether they date other members or whether they marry women in the future.
