Im so addicted to social media that i put off updating social media apps on my phone because i cant scroll while its updating

What happened to the sound of silence right after sunset? I feel like its changed since I was a kid. The crickets are quiet and the cars are louder, the distant sounds of trains have vanished, even the leaves in the wind dont sound the same. The air tastes less crisp and the rocks beneath my feet hurt more than they used too. The grass is dead and our tree cut down.
