its so insane finding deltarune fans in the wild.
Like
I was at work today. I mentioned deltarune to a coworker. Now hes my platonic older brother.
We even drove our other coworkers insane by singing the "driving in my carrrr right after a beerrrr"
I literally cant. 😭

I love the theories that Dess wrote Raise Up Your Bat. It makes sense, fits her character
But.
Im a delusional Dessriel shipper.
I really like to think that RUYB is partially a love song. Because the chorus is just like blood, demons and fighting. But the bridge absolutely DOESNT FIT THE REST OF THE SONG???
"Come follow me into the dark with your heart as the ark which shall shine you the way, because I'm with you in the dark with your heart as my mark which shall guide you the way."
Then straight back to fighting and death. Dess has some explaining to do.
(Yes, I know its supposed to represent the soul and Kris LET ME DREAAAMMMM *i say as im dragged to a white padded room*)
#deltarune#dess holiday#asriel dreemurr#asriel deltarune#dessriel#december holiday#december deltarune#raise up your bat#Ruyb is a fucking banger though oh my god

I found this after I was fighting Jevil (ik...stuck on Jevil in the big 25...)
And mine was different. I know this post was from 2018 and there have been MANNNYYY updates to the game since. So I'm not gonna say anything about this post being wrong because for it's time it wasn't.
I play on PS4, so please let me know if this varies by platform!! I'd love to do more research on this!
Heres what I found (I did multiple trial runs, never did I get anything different. I seriously couldn't get past turn 13 using just Pirouette because i SUCK at the game. But anyone is free to correct anything listed on this or add to it. I'll update it when I actually complete it on another day when I haven't been fighting Jevil for 4 hours attempting this-)
Hope this helps!!

Pirouette: It’s Not Random
(deltarune spoilers) Pirouette is an ACT that can be used against the hidden boss Jevil, causing him to become tired. In addition, it comes with a not-so-random secondary effect.
There are 9 different effects for Piroutte that cycle in order. Every 9 turns, the cycle resets back to 1.
✅ = Using Pirouette this turn will have no negative side effects ❌ = Using Pirouette this turn will have consequences
✅ Turn 1:
* What! * It was just foley!
The game chooses a random number between 0 and 2 and plays a noise. Unable to use this on the very first turn of the battle as TP gauge is empty.
✅ Turn 2:
* JEVIL felt at ease! * JEVIL’s defense dropped!
Jevil’s defense decreases. Attacks deal more damage against Jevil this turn.
❌ Turn 3:
* Awkward! Upcoming attack will hurt rapidly!
Jevil’s bullets fire at the same speed, but period of time you are invincible after being hit decreases, making you vulnerable to being hit more frequently. (Fewer i-frames.)
✅ Turn 4:
* Tranquil! * The dance defended the party!
Reduces Jevil’s attack damage. This is equal to the attack reduction received from Hypnotize.
✅ Turn 5:
* What! * It’s nothing but a useless bird!
The game creates a bird and makes a noise.
✅ Turn 6:
* It felt comforting!
Heals a random party member a random amount between 25 and 55.
✅ Turn 7:
* Everyone’s HP got jumbled up!
HP switches randomly between party members. Ralsei can be given 110 HP total (from Susie) this way. Additionally, it can revive party members.
❌ Turn 8:
* JEVIL’s upcoming move got powered up!
Jevil’s attack damage is increased by 1.25 (125%).
✅ Turn 9:
* A perfect 10!
All party members are healed a random amount between 20 and 40.

so, I'm unsure if it's JUST me, but I've recently gotten back into old 2010s movies. And I was watching a favorite from my childhood. Wreck-It-Ralph.
Theres one scene in particular, the scene where Ralph breaks Vanellopes car. That scene always made me an emotional mess, but there was one thing I never noticed. I always thought, when Vanellope got mad at Ralph for talking to King Candy behind her back, she said "You're red!" Because one of the things I really appreciate about the movie is the attention to facial detail, and when someone lies they turn red sometimes. Because Ralph can be an emotional guy.
Im watching it on Disney Plus with subtitles instead of using the disc version (which the subtitles never worked). And I noticed that says "You're a rat!" which I was kinda confused by. Why would she randomly call him a rat? Well, I looked it up.

They put too much thought into this silly movie 😭😭😭 (10/10 though, such a good movie)
