Today...
has been like any other day these past few weeks.
hard, tiring, stressful.
I haven't been on tumblr in a LONG time, so this might be of surprise to some people.
Lately work has offered ALOT of overtime and I've been trying to take as much as I can. Yeah, its taking a toll on me. My health, and possibly my love life is suffering from it. The only reason I work so hard is so that we can be happy. We've been communicating to each other that we both are not happy with our relationship, but we've both made somewhat of an effort to change that. I've been trying to make more money so that we can go out and do more things and experience life.
Today I figured would be a good day. The weather was nice, I wasn't TOO tired, and I would be getting out of work to go to a friends bbq and relax the day away. Then at lunch one of our coworkers suddenly yelled "oh shit! we got paid!" i rushed to check my phone and wow, we got paid. My time in effort was finally put into a dollar amount, but for some reason, I wasn't as happy as everybody else. I then sat there and calculated all expenses I had to deal with and when it was all through with, I was left with roughly thirty dollars.
REALLY?!?!? THIRTY FUCKING DOLLARS?!?!?!
Right now, I am starving, tired, and so fucking sad.
I'm happy that I could pay my bills, but said because I didnt accomplish my main mission.
To have money to buy things for my girlfriend.
She's the fucking world to me, and I can't even afford to buy her new clothes, or even take her out to eat somewhere. She's at home all day, and I feel that is affecting our relationship also.
But I won't fuck this up next week. The month of May is is going to be an expensive one. My moms birthday, mothers day, my girlfriends birthday, and our 1 year anniversery. I can't believe after one year of being together, she still seems to put butterflies in my stomach when i stare at her and she speaks.
So next week im going to try my hardest to get as much overtime as i can. I promised my girlfriend that I'm going to give her a birthday and anniversery that she'll never forget.
Even if it kills me.
