So the PJO fandom is at war, about whether we should hold Riordan accountable or appreciate that his books are very diverse. I decided that I should share my own input. I know it’s like a crazy hour to be doing this but ah well.

I think that we should do something in between

Riordan started with an all white cast and now is one the road to the most diverse book series

Not one author has written the perfect book

You may think your favorite book is the perfect book but there will always be someone that will criticize it. In a good or bad way

So, we can appreciate that Riordan made his books diverse

I think “holding him accountable” listen too harsh of a term

Think more like giving him suggestions or telling him that this is stereotypical and you can do this to help improve it.

Know that I don’t like the word fix. Fix sounds like there is something wrong and you can do this to make you perfect

NOTHING is like that. There is no perfect. We can appreciate imperfect that makes something unique in humans

In books, we can appreciate the good things and the fact that the suthor tried

Yes, yes, this sets the bar very low for other authors but I am not done yet

Give Riordan advice and open his eyes to what stereotypical and what’s not. Maybe Piper just likes wearing a blue feather (if you think this is a bit insensitive, I apologize)

Yrene’s name is Yrene Westfall, originally Yrene Towers. Towers.

She was the heir apparent to the Healer on High at the Torre Cesme. Torre Cesme.

Translated, Torre Cesme means Cesme Tower. Torre means tower.

So was Sarah J Maas hinting that Yrene is destined to become a Healer on High?

Sure, Yrene is pregnant and therefore cannot be the heir apparent to the Healer on High (which I think is utter bullshit) but she thinking of building another Torre. This means that Yrene will probably become a Healer on High.
