i’m tired of the narrative that rhysand is the perfect mate when he literally is no better than tamlin.

i’m tired of people thinking it’s okay that Cassian never, NEVER, truly sticks up for Nesta at any point in the story.

i’m tired of Azriel getting a pass for feeling entitled to Elain but Lucien is a walking devil all for accidentally blurting out she’s his mate during a bad time and trying to respect Elain’s space while still showing her kindness.

i’m tired of Rhysand and the IC getting a pass for their shady behavior, especially when it comes to the pregnancy plot line. they should’ve told her when they knew, no they weren’t keeping it from her “for her health!!!” they were stripping feyre of her autonomy, the same with nesta.

i’m tired of Elain being seen as a child.

i’m tired of everyone vilifying Nesta.

i’m tired of Rhysand and the IC being extended empathy for their past and even current actions but that same forgiveness isn’t given to anyone else. people seem to forget rhysand is supposed to be morally gray, he’s done bad things for the sake of doing bad, he is not the perfect goody-goody in a dark color palette.

i’m tired of people forgetting Feyre (and any other pov characters) is an unreliable narrator.

i’m tired of people acting like Nesta and Feyre aren’t the different sides of the same coin.

i’m tired of people pretending the IC wouldnt have reacted differently had it been feyre to give “x” away in CC3.

im tired of this fandom lacking media literacy!!

We are on the final days of September and in no time at all it shall be October, and time for the first day of the SJM Villain Week. We cannot wait to get started, and to count us down to the first day, we have created a fun activity to get everyone excited!

Every day, a random headcanon for one of the villains will be posted, and everyone is invited their share their own headcanons, either for that villain.

Or we have created Spin The Wheels (links at the bottom of the post) for each of the series if you want to randomly pick out a villain to create a headcanon for.

Of course, you are also welcome to pick out any one or multiple of your favorite villain(s) to share your headcanons about! Tag anyone you know who you think would like to join in!!

SJM Villain Headcanon: Keir (ACOTAR)-

Keir is super into astronomy, he has maps of the stars covering his office. Whatever free time he has outside of his work as Steward and Leader of the Darkbringers, is poured into his hobby. His passion for astronomy was born from the very, very few times he was allowed to leave the Hewn City to visit his relatives in Velaris, and finally got to observe the night sky in all it's glory.

Since then, he has tried to replicate the night sky in the Hewn City. Having the cave ceilings covered with glittering faelights in the same constellations of the real thing. Mapping everything out to be absolutely precise.

It's not the same, but it does well enough. In rare moments of love, Keir might've taken Morrigan out to the makeshift parks built into the Hewn City, and laid on the grass with her to stare at the 'night sky'.

During the holiday of Starfall, when everyone gathers outside in Velaris to witness the great event. Keir creates a replica of the holiday in the Hewn City. Using magic, he makes the faelights 'fall' in a similar manner to the stars during Starfall. (After a few drinks, who in the world could tell the difference between real star dust and the glitter the Hewn City people use anyway?)

Kicking off your heels, you stumbled through the door and sighed at the relief of taking off your shoes. You padded over to the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water as you called out for your mate. “Ithan?” you questioned as you looked around your shared apartment. 

The two of you were newly mated, and the evening you had just spent with Bryce watching Juniper at the ballet was the longest that the two of you had been apart since establishing the bond. You found no trace of Ithan in the apartment, suddenly feeling worried as you sat on the edge of your bed, pulling out your phone to call him.

The phone rang once before the door to the apartment swung open, a sweaty Ithan wearing his running shorts and sneakers scanning the apartment until his eyes locked with yours. His pupils were blown wide, nose flaring as you bit your lip, taking in his physique. 

He crossed the room, meeting you in the doorway to your bedroom as he gripped your waist, kissing you deeply before pulling back, forcing air into his lungs just to breathe, “gods, I missed you so much. I had to go for a run to tire myself out enough, just so I wouldn’t storm into the theatre to find you.” 

Normally, you might have found that amusing, but you understood how Ithan felt completely. From the moment he entered your life, you didn’t know how you lived without him - his kindness and loyalty unlike any you had ever known. It felt as though your soul was tearing at the seams when you were away from Ithan, and when you were with him, you felt a wholeness - a peace you hadn’t realized was possible.

So you grabbed him back, threading your fingers in his hair as you whispered, “you have me now.” He growled, pawing at your dress as he ripped it from your body. You loved seeing this side of him - the predatory grace of a shifter and honed warrior, who knew your body as well as his at this point. 

Ithan kicked off his shoes, running his hands up your naked form as you brought your hands down to his chest, slick with sweat. He grimaced, looking down at your hands as he hummed in thought. A smirk then graced his lips as he looked to you. “Can’t have you getting dirty, too, can we?” Ithan teased as he lifted you up, wrapping your legs around his hips as he carried you into the bathroom. You licked and kissed his neck as he moved, him turning on the water for the shower as you eagerly used your feet to shuffle off his pants, grinding against him. 

You moaned against his neck as you licked up, biting his earlobe and whispered, “I like getting dirty with you.” Ithan pushed his way into the shower, setting you down to stand on the tile as he caged you against the wall with his muscular arms. He licked his lips - trailing a finger down your chest, dripping with water from the shower - as he murmured, “but I do enjoy cleaning you up,” and sank to his knees before you.

Ithan lifted your legs over his shoulders, leaning you against the wall as he licked a stripe up your center. You moaned, back bowing against the shower wall as your head spun at the feeling. You didn’t know if it was the mating bond or Ithan’s skill, but sex with him was like nothing you’d experienced before. Regardless of how quick or drawn-out, how rough or soft, it was always making love with him - this electric feeling of being joined with your partner.

Ithan continued his skillful attack on your core, sucking on your clit while he flicked his tongue against you. He brought up a single finger, slowly pumping and curling inside of you as you writhed above him, chanting his name as you begged for more. With a playful lick, Ithan murmured, “my pleasure,” against your clit, the vibration causing you to gasp as he pushed in another finger, curling at a rapid pace. It wasn’t long after that you hit your high, dizzy with pleasure as Ithan stood up wrapping your legs around his hips once more as he kissed you, the taste of you still lingering on his tongue.
