disliking him does not make you racist or tasteless to moral concepts

he is meant to be a complex and morally grey character.

but most importantly, MIGUEL ISNT REAL, but the people who your comments reach are.

i hate that i have to make a statement like this. if you want to pick a fight then don’t do it here. stop arguing and sending death threats. they don’t bother me but it sucks that my art which was supposed to bring joy is making people fight.

okay hear me out bc i have a book idea.

a laid back not too popular, but also not hated boy, that secretly is afraid of change and inconsistencies in his life and sleeps around to ‘cope’ gets paired up with someone he’d never thought he’d fall for. the quiet, and deeply hurt gifted kid that doesn’t have any friends but is adored by everyone.

that’s my general premise but i do have an overall plot too. for this, the first boy mentioned (the laid back boy) will be referred to as boy A, and the other boy B.

plot outline:

- boy A & B get paired for a project and work on it consistently- mainly at boy A’s house or a public space because, in boy B’s words, his father “isn’t the best with me or other teens.”

- the boys get close and start talking more over months. The project was over ages ago but they still constantly talk and hang out together. obviously being friends now. during this stage, Boy A stopped sleeping around with people and focuses on himself and his relationships with friends. around the same time boy B starts standing up to his father, embracing who he is and not who people want him to be.

- basically js months of them being friends and bettering themselves.

- Boy A falls in love with boy B during this and realizes after it was brought to his attention by a close friend of his.

- boy A tries his best to lay out hints to boy B like suggesting they hang out at a cute restaurant or cafe instead of their usual places, or inviting him over for the night and suggesting they share his bed, things like that. boy B was pretty much oblivious. like no matter how blunt boy A tried to be boy B just came off confused.

- boy A had gone from scared that he didn’t feel the same to fed up that he wasn’t picking up on anything and that pent up anger, and boy B’s straight up confusion, they started to argue.

-the two went back and forth for what felt like hours when boy A seemingly out of nowhere yelled out “I’m in love with you!”

-this had them both standing still for a bit. until boy B was able to respond back with “I think I’m in love with you too. But I don’t think I know what love is. I’m just so lost about it all and that scares me.”

-Boy responds with a “ We can figure it out together if you want?”

-and they talk stuff out and boom. dating. (after a while of just trying to figure out their feelings)

Ok so I just learned about an animal called the Bobtail Squid and it is the best thing to ever have been created!

It’s a cephalopod that lives in the shallow waters of the Indo-West Pacific, East Atlantic, and Mediterranean oceans/seas. It is about the size of a golf ball with about 68 different species.

During the day they hide themselves in the sand that sticks to the surface of their skin.

Then during the night they come out to feed. They also use a special light organ along with the help of bacteria in their mantle to glow, match the moon and starlight; thus, camouflaging them from predators.

I would say I want twelve of these things, but it would be wrong to take them out of their environments. I’ll love them from a distance.
