Star Chaser Pt. 2
Tumblr media
Pt.1// Pt. 2
{!} Contains mentions of Death
Words: 2040 (It’s short, because Pt. 3 steering away from this.I hope you still enjoy it all the same.)
Genre: Angst, Fluff
Some inspiration from; A Walk to Remember
Jung Hoseok x Reader (Featuring: Park Jimin)
"Hoseok!" You called, as you kicked the show off your boots before heading through inside, where you could already feel the inviting warm air nuzzle against your red cheeks. It was rather quiet, all the curtains were drawn as you closed the door behind you. "Hoseok? I'm back..." Pulling off your shoes and dumping them off on the small rug near the entrance, you slowly walked through the apartment only to stop at the bedroom.
"TADA!" Hoseok sung, throwing his arms in the air and performing a nice rendition of jazz fingers when you finally caught sight of his bedroom fort masterpiece.
"What's this?" You laughed as your eyes marveled at the makeshift tent he made over his bed. Adorned with Christmas lights and a rainbow of colored sheets draped from the ceiling, engulfing the bed in a fort-like cocoon.
"You said you wanted to go camping." He grinned ear-to-ear seeing the smile it brought to your face. "Oh!" He saw the bag still dangling in your hand. "Were you able to get everything? Can't going camping without s'mores." It finally seemed to click and you should've been able to add it all together without some much as a word from him.
"Yep! I got everything on the list." Following Hoseok to the kitchen, he wasted no time firing up the oven and the two of you started making s'mores.
That would be the last time you ever wanted to go camping. The last time you could enjoy an s'more without thinking of him. He kept his word. That he was in the sun, the moon, the stars in your sky. But it was more than that. He was your sun, he was your moon, and he was every single star in your sky. He was the wind, the air, the Earth. He was everything. Every little thing was him, it had always been and as far as you were concerned it would always be.
Morning came and he was gone. He dropped you off at your apartment before saying his long goodbye. He didn't want to go. You could tell. Or maybe it was the way he held you and kept saying "Just five more minutes." Five minutes turned into ten, then fifteen then twenty and he had to eventually pull himself away. You didn't know why but you felt it was the last time you were going to see him. Maybe in some way that was true.
A day went by then two, no word from him and you were sure or perhaps convinced yourself that he was busy. That's all it was and nothing more. To pass the time away you spent more time with Jimin. He might have been one of your best friends, but he wasn't Hoseok. Jimin could tell you really weren't paying attention to him. No matter what he said he was met with a resounding "Mhmm."
"Y/N...are you even paying attention to what I'm saying?" Jimin asked as he raked his hands through his hair several times, it still falling into his dark eyes over and over again to no avail.  The same murmured sound escaped your lips as you stared down into your now cold cocoa. "Y/N..." He sighed as a smile laugh tickled up his throat. Leaning back in his chair, he waited until he seemed to present on Earth again. Looking across from you Jimin only smiled, making his eyes nearly disappear. "What?" The tone of your voice was defensive as he continued to stare at you. Rubbing out a small itch on his cheek with his knuckle, he sat up again before basically interrogating you.
"You're thinking about him, aren't you?" Jimin couldn't help but think what he did was magic. Bring you and Hoseok together seemed to be one of his greatest achievements, well you thought Jimin was taking it a bit far, but he was never going to let you live it down.
"Of course I am." You bluntly admitted, picking up your spoon and puncturing the cold liquid before slowly stirring it. "I haven't heard from him and he said he'd call me." Seeing you worried the way you were didn't help Jimin. He knew more than what he was letting on. But he made a promise to Hoseok to never tell you and Jimin was never one to break trust no matter what it was. Besides, Hoseok should have been the one. He should have been the one who told you.
"He's probably really busy with work. I'm sure he'll call any day now. I think you're getting worked up over nothing." He folded his arms over his chest, trying to put your worries at ease, but he could only do so much.
Giving in with a sigh, you smiled though it took way too much effort to achieve. "I'm sure you're right. He's just busy. Hoseok wouldn't break a promise." You had to believe it because there was nothing that made you think that Hoseok would ever betray you.
"If he does." Jimin simply held up his fist as if that was clue enough to show you that he was on your side.
"Really?" Your dry tone was humorous to Jimin who instantly began laughing with his whole body. "You're going to beat up Hoseok?" You knew Jimin would never do that. But it was nice to know that he was there to cheer you up if anything happened.
"You've been spending way too much time with Hoseok. You're starting to make the same faces."
Five days typically wasn't a long time for most people, but it was complete agony for you. Waiting each day for the call that never came. Each of your text went unanswered, leading your mind to wander. Every terrible thought seemed to find it's way into your head. You couldn't eat, couldn't sleep and Jimin had to act as a psychologist from time to time. Even though he was quick to deem you temporarily insane, he assured you everything was okay.
Lucky for Jimin he was right. Five days...five days had passed since you heard anything from Hoseok. The moment he texted you he was home you made the forty minute trip. You had to see him. Maybe you'd yell at him for scaring you, maybe just hold him. No words were spoken, just you and him escaping under the canopy of Christmas lights still draped around the rainbow fort over his bed.
You knocked on the door, but nothing. Another knock and it still went unanswered. Taking the cold door knob into your hands, you found it unlocked and pushed it open just enough to poke your head in. "Hoseok?" You called out looking around to his shoes nearby and an unpacked suitcase beside them.
"Oh! Y/N. I'm in the bedroom." You could tell that you must've woken him. You perform your regular routine of locking the door behind you, dropping your coat off at the closet, and kicking off your shoes, before making your way to his bedroom. Curtains pulled, lights off and soothing music played lightly in the background as you hung outside the doorframe.
"Hoseok?" You murmured, hearing him shift around in bed you hear a click and the room glowed in the light yellow hue. A tired Hoseok smiled at you, patting the spot next to him. Something seemed...different. He didn't have his glow, his spark wasn't there but nevertheless, he was still smiling for you. Of course, you ignored everything that had you worried, as you wasted no time to join him. The moment you were by his side, he wrapped you in his embrace. It wasn't as warm or as tight, but you were just glad to be in his arms.
"I missed you...so much." Hoseok spoke softly, his lips finding their usual spot in the middle of your forehead.
"I missed you too." You didn't want to bring up all the worrying you endured or ask why he didn't text you. None of that was important at the moment. All that was important was that he was back and you could be with him again. "Are you okay? You don't look too good." It was noticeable, he really wasn't fooling you.
"Just a slight cold. I should be okay in a few days." Hoseok assured you as his lips brushed kissing your cheeks, eyes lids, even the tip of your nose. Your pupils finally adjusted to darkness to see him looking at you.
"How was the trip?" You asked though he didn't want to talk about it, he seemed more interested in what you did while he was gone. But he only frowned when he learned that you mostly moped around without him. He shook his head disappointedly and gave a small upturned smile.
"How are you ever going to manage?" He asked softly as his fingertips softly raked along your back.
"Manage what?"
He didn't answer as he hummed, nuzzling his face into your hair. It didn't seem like a big deal. How could it when it was such a small question? It was the beginning. He knew. And he wasn't saying a word. Maybe it was for your own good. Perhaps it was best for the both of you, who knew what would have happened if you knew right then and there. In some ways, you're glad you didn't know then. You could only thank him for sparing your feelings in that moment.
Those weeks turned into months and it was safe to say you thought or, in fact, you knew you had found your soul mate. He completed every part of your life. A life that you could never imagine without him. He gave you courage, hope, inspiration, comfort, support and most of all love. No part of your life would ever be quite complete without him and it was the true for him as well. You were his strength, his solitude, his shelter, his life, his whole world.
He helped you believe that nothing was impossible, that everything had beauty, that everything was precious. His passion was endless and sometimes it left you breathless. How could someone find no faults with the world when he had every right to be mad at it? You were mad or you would be. After everything, he still had the courage to believe that the world was good. That fate just had a sense of humor and destiny had its reasoning. It was those thoughts that had you most upset. You would lay awake for hours thinking about what Hoseok said. The way he viewed the world with such innocence, it was nothing but cruel and hateful and unfair to those who were good. It was unfair to him and it was unfair to you.
In those months you noticed a change in Hoseok. He seemed tired, drained, fighting off one cold after the other. Colds in late spring, early summer? Of course, he found your persistence in telling him to go to the doctor a little too much like Jimin, but he would go. Or at least he told you he was going. Of course, you believed him. Why would he even lie about something like that? You had always put your complete trust in Hoseok and he did the same for you. It was always like that. You never questioned the other because you knew the other would never betray you.
And the longer the months grew, the more you noticed he was hiding something. He was always tired, too tired to even get out of bed. Frequently ill. Weak, almost to the point he seemed too fragile to move. And then other days, he was perfectly fine, running around with you. Going to the latest movie, going out for dinners, heading out to the beach even filling up on ice cream cones while strolling through the park. It broke your heart to think that he could be hiding something. But the thought of knowing something was wrong was unbearable and you simply couldn’t find the courage to ask. Because the thought of knowing was more frightening than not knowing. You could pretend that everything was fine and just swallow the fact that you knew, your heart knew, something wasn’t right.

Immortal Pt.2
Pt.1 // Pt.2
{!} Contains Violence, Language, Smut
Words: 4,332
Genre: Angst
Kim Taehyung x Reader (Featuring: Members of BTS) Vampire AU
He stalked into the bar, his eyes panning around the faint darkness. Nearly snarling at the mortals that huddled in one corner, the raven haired man made his way to the other end, taking a seat on the corner stool.
“Where’s Tae?” His deep voice cracked the muted silence. It commanded everyone’s attention as they dared to take a peek at him. The bartender turned to see Yoongi glaring at him from dark coal orbs.
“Downstairs.” He wildly waved a towel in aggravation. Darting up a brow, Yoongi remained unchanged, the same damning look burning into the man he considered nothing more than a meal. “Go down there if you need him. I’m busy.”
Scrapping the stool legs across the scuffed wood floor, Yoongi didn’t bother himself with the miserable mortal’s blatant irritation. He had more important things to worry about. Disappearing behind the door that left the recruits wondering what exactly was behind it, Yoongi made his way down the staircase and around the stone walls of the old cellar.
“Back here, Yoongi.” Taehyung called out, knowing he wasn’t alone as he smelled the scent of the other vampire fuming against the rock. Rounding the corner, Yoongi stood in the door frame. Lifting his eyes from papers that were strung around the room and had him busy practically all morning, Taehyung eyed the intimidating vampire.
“I need to talk to you about the cavern.” Yoongi shifted from the doorway and stride through the room, planting himself in a chair across from Taehyung.
“You need to talk to Jimin about that. He’s in charge.” Taehyung informed him before burying himself into paperwork again.
“I’m aware of that. But Jimin is more of the…follow protocol type. I need to talk to someone who likes to…break a few rules, so to speak.”
Taehyung took a break from straining his eyes on the small scribbles across the bleach white papers, to look at Yoongi once again. Gathering the papers, Taehyung stacked them and gave them a few good whacks against the table to get them in order.
“So to speak huh?” Taehyung tossed the papers into a drawer before leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms behind his head. “Just what are we talking about?”
Yoongi’s dark smirk left a bitter taste in Taehyung’s mouth as he almost regret asking the question.
“We need you to go to the caverns with us.”
Taehyung looked confused, cocking his head, his features clearly showed it. “We? We who?” “Jungkook.”
Taehyung sat unmoved. He didn’t know what to think when Jungkook’s name was thrown into the mix. Pushing up from the uncomfortable, lopsided chair Taehyung rounded the desk and leaned against the wall in which Yoongi had once perched himself against. “Does Jungkook know you’re down here informing me of this little escapade that you two have planned?”
“Yeah. He doesn’t like it, but he knows.”
Taehyung was sure he would get the cold shoulder from Jungkook if he agreed to help them in whatever they had planned, but at least Yoongi had the foresight to inform him. To see Jungkook stew with madness was always a sight to behold. It was hard to find pleasurable things in a life shrouded in darkness but the thought of that brought a small smile to Taehyung’s lips.
“Okay. I’m in. What are we going there for? I thought those were old Lycan caverns?”
“They may have been at one time. But I think Namjoon has been lying through his disgusting fangs to us. Which in his defense is nothing to be surprised about.” Yoongi would know better than anyone. Namjoon thought Yoongi was a pawn in his little scheme. Yoongi played the part convincingly, but he was far from it.
“Then what do you think is down there exactly?” Taehyung scurried off behind Yoongi, pegging him for answers. A quick glance over his shoulder, Yoongi stopped and turned. The two men looked at each other in silence until Taehyung let out a sigh of frustration. “Well?”
“I don’t think you’ll believe me if I tell you.” Yoongi assured him as he headed up the staircase and Taehyung lagged behind, still standing firmly in the spot Yoongi left him.
“Then why should I go?” Taehyung pulled his pack of cigarette’s from his back pocket, wedging one between his lips before lighting the tip and taking a drag. Yoongi didn’t stop from ascending the steps as a faint chuckle ruptured the cellar walls.
“Don’t. I’m not stopping you either way.” The light poured in through the door as Yoongi was swallowed up by it and soon disappeared. Taehyung stood for a moment, a few mutters of disapproval escaped his lips before jetting up the stairs after him.
As Yoongi emerged from the bar, Jungkook was relieved when he didn’t see Taehyung. “What happened?” Jungkook asked as Yoongi peered back at the bar for only a moment before the two set off toward the woods.
“I told him we were going to the cavern, but I wouldn’t tell him why.” Yoongi informed him as pulled on his black leather duster.
“He thinks they’re dead anyways.” Jungkook shrugged as his eyes panned across the street when he heard a few voices, only a few of the local girls slipping from one of the few boutiques that were in Grim Hallow.
“Yoongi!” A petite raven haired with deep red painted lips called out as she watched the two men heading toward the dense forest in the distance. “I have things to do, woman. Leave me be.” Yoongi continued without the slightest bit of acknowledgment only to hear a snicker from Jungkook.
“Who was that?” Only being back for a short period of time, Jungkook hadn’t known who many people were and he chose to keep it that way. He wasn’t what anyone would call…a people person. The least amount of contact the better.
“Eh.” Short, sweet and to the point. He didn’t care who she was, Yoongi wasn’t interested in complicating his life more than need be. It was as simple as that and he planned to keep it that way.
“Yoongi…Jungkook.” The call of a much deeper voice halted them in their tracks. Jungkook hung his head, instantly knowing who it was. Yoongi only looked over his shoulder, watching Taehyung jog across the street to catch up with the two younger vampires.
“Thought you weren’t coming?” Yoongi smirked, knowing all along that Taehyung would eventually join them. Curiosity was always a downfall for Taehyung and Yoongi knew it all too well.
“I never said that now did I?” He gave the same cocky smirk as he passed Yoongi and slapped Jungkook playfully across the back. “Couldn’t let you two go off doing god knows what.” It didn’t get pass Taehyung that Jungkook rather not have him there, especially with how much he claimed that Taehyung had been busting his balls since he arrived. Perhaps there was some truth to it, but it wasn’t for a lack of trust. He was concerned, though Jungkook would never understand why.
“Doing god knows what? You’re lucky I even told you in the first place.” Yoongi spat as he peered over at Taehyung in time to see Jungkook hide a grin by looking away. Moving past the others, Yoongi made very little effort in hopping the fence, as he only had to glide over it.
“The only reason you’re coming is to keep a fucking eye on me.” Jungkook muttered as the two trailed behind the raven head man. Taehyung wasn’t surprised to hear that and he didn’t deny it.
“Believe what you want, but Yoongi asked me to come along. And we both know I’m easier to deal with than Jimin. I mean if you’re going to object to me being here I can call Jimin for you and ask him if he would like to come along instead.” The deathly glare and aggravated sneer of disapproval from Jungkook made Taehyung grin. “Exactly what I thought.” Ducking in the dense forest the three of them disappeared from the peering eyes of the town. They were silent until they stood in front of the cavern entrance. Yoongi was the first to descend into the entrance followed by Taehyung then Jungkook.
“What exactly are we looking for?” Taehyung asked, causing the other two to look between each other. That only meant one thing to Taehyung and he knew it wasn’t going to be anything good. Jungkook nudged Yoongi, letting him inform him of what they were doing. There was no way he was going to take the blame for something he knew Taehyung was going to disagree with.
Catching his footing before he stumbled, Yoongi folded his arms over his chest and stared Taehyung down for a moment before sighing. There was no point in hiding it any longer since they were already there.
“We think Namjoon is actually hiding something important here.” That was a good enough briefing for Yoongi and he tried to start off again only to be halted in his tracks with Taehyung clearing his throat.
“What do you think he’s hiding?”
“It‘ll be better if I showed you.”
The three men sat in the room like scolded school children as Jimin paced the floor in front of them. Looking over at each guy that he thought of as family, he shook his head each time Taehyung came into his full view.
“Why in the hell were you three in the caverns?” Jimin questioned them like a prosecuting attorney. Yoongi shifted in his seat, sitting up straight as he rose a finger to speak. “What?”
“Didn’t Seokjin tell me to take some guys and go to the cavern and check it out?”
Jimin eyed Yoongi knowing that was the worst excuse ever, even Yoongi believed it was, but he would never admit it. Jimin’s tight lips turned into a rough smile, folding his arms over his chest as he proceeded to trek back and forth, wearing a path into the rug.
“I clearly remember seeing you sitting in the room when Tae, dethroned that idiot or did that escape your diluted little mind?” Jimin hissed, baring fangs as his hands wrapped around the arms of Yoongi’s chair. Unfazed by the lack of personal space, Yoongi’s brows furrowed until he heard the faint snicker amongst them. Jimin snapped his neck, pushing off the armrest and turned on his heels. Taehyung quickly turned his eyes to the floor and Jungkook turned a thumb toward the guilty party. Strolling past Jungkook for the time being, Jimin planted himself in front of Taehyung, whom he considered a brother. “Find something amusing, do you?”
“Just remembering when I kicked the shit out of Seokjin.” He shrugged absently. Jimin made a hum of approval as his head slightly nodded in agreement, only to be met with anger.
“Do you think compromising the safety of this group is fucking hilarious, Tae?!” Jimin snatched Taehyung up by the collar of his shirt. The two stared at each other, neither one backing down.
“He was compromising the safety of Y/N and she will always be more important to me than Seokjin will ever be! And if I have to kill him to prove it, so be it.” Taehyung snarled at the older vampire as he stood his ground. Eventually, Jimin released his grip before Taehyung started to fight back. Feeling his anger whaling up, Taehyung took a few deep breaths before settling back into the chair as Jimin proceeded to cast his look of disgust on them.
“Which one of you are going to tell me the real reason for you being down there?” He stopped front and center of Jungkook, but the young vampire concentrated more on his nails, flicking out small particles of unwanted dirt. “I know this conversation is beneath you, JungKook, but do you care to answer?”
“I care not to.” Jungkook reported, flicking another piece before lifting his glance to him. Jimin rolled his tongue in his mouth as his lips pursed into a thin line. It was quite obvious he was getting nowhere with them. What was so important there, that they had to keep it a secret even from him. They had to have their reasons, but still, Jimin would have liked to be clued in.
“Fine. Well, I can play this game too.”
Taehyung grunted and sunk into his chair. He knew where this was heading. Yoongi nor Jungkook didn’t have the luxury of knowing what Jimin was up to yet.
“I’m putting you three under surveillance. You are not allowed out of the village. That means nothing pass the Abbey. I will be informed if you do. Do I make myself clear?”
“Are you kidding me? You’re having someone babysit us?” Jungkook snorted in disbelief. Jimin only shrugged. Perhaps letting them wonder would be better.
“Go…Don’t go to the caverns unless you’re ready to tell me what’s going on. Besides, I think you have something you need to take care of, isn’t that right Tae?” Both Jungkook and Yoongi turned a curious eye toward the dark brown haired vampire who remain silent, not saying a word to them. “We have a new addition to our family. He and Y/N are mates now.”
“Really?” Yoongi seemed surprised as he has been around Y/N more than Jungkook had. “I understand why you went after Seokjin now.”
Jungkook had a far away, thoughtful glint to his eyes as he looked into the distance at absolutely nothing. The thought of protecting a mate was more than he could or wanted to think about at that moment.
“No…no you don’t.” Taehyung informed them and left the three of them before they could stop him and asked him what that exactly meant. He wasn’t ready to tell them just yet. He didn’t know if Jimin would believe him, considering Seokjin was his best friend.
The moment he stepped foot into the house you called home, he heard you mumbling to yourself. A small sigh escaped his lips…as if he hadn’t heard enough today, he knew you were already going to start on him as well.
You could sense his present nearby, but you made no attempt in finding him, knowing he would come to you soon enough. No sooner did you think it, He was leaning in the door frame. You caught a glimpse of him from the corner of your eyes but didn’t acknowledge him.
“Something wrong?” He made no attempt to move further into the room. He was alone in dangerous territory, and there was no point in seeking your wraith by trespassing.
“When were you gonna tell me?” You fumed, spinning around as your fist went directly to your hips. Taehyung had to think for a moment. There was a lot of things you could have been talking about, and there was plenty that you still didn’t know. Choosing his actions carefully, Taehyung shrugged slightly as he shook his head.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about? Mind giving me a hint?”
“Oh, I don’t know…should people be referring to me now as Kim Y/N?”
Throwing his head back slightly, he closed his tired lids for a second before giving you his full attention. “Y/N…I thought maybe you understood that once you are a mate, it practically means we’re married. Do you have a problem with that?”
Actually no, no you didn’t but you liked being a little more than he could handle sometimes. “Perhaps you should have said something. So I guess that means we’ll be living together too?”
“Of course.” He nodded in response while crossing one ankle over the other. You didn’t know whether to be excited or depressed. On one hand, you and Taehyung were starting a new chapter in your lives…so would say mortals. But then, on the other hand, you knew Taehyung would be trying to force you into doing “What was best for you”.
‘As if he’d know!’ You told yourself with the roll of your eyes, turning away from Taehyung but smiling uncontrollably out of his sight.
“You don’t like that idea either?” He murmured from behind. Feeling his arms wrap around you, you froze. His movements were quick, potentially deadly if need be, but he was nothing but gentle as he pressed a kiss to your neck.
Taehyung knew he had the advantage when he felt your shiver within his arms. A coy smile faded before you could spot it. Hovering dangerous close, Taehyung dabbed a kiss against your soft jaw line. You couldn’t find the words. Each time you tried to speak, he was quick to evaporate the thought with another damning kiss from his perfect lips.
“No..” You finally gasped, straining to even speak a single word as his hands travel the swells of your body, causing you to heave with delight.
“Just think of all the things I can do to you when you move in.” His own fantasies invaded your mind as he gingerly suckled the crook of your neck. You buckled in near defeat as his hand swam between your legs. Bucking him in the gut, you broke his concentration.
“You’re a monster.” You purred in victory as you peeled from his arms. Only delivering a smile to you, Taehyung pushed up on the counter top before plopping himself on it.
“So, is there anything else you would like to scold me about so we can get it out of the way before I take you to our home and ravage you, Wife.”
“Um first of all, don’t call me wife!” Not that you minded people knowing Taehyung was all yours, the sound of the word wife was something that wasn’t all too appealing to you. Taehyung only nodded knowing that wasn’t going to happen.
“Second of all?” He inquired as he leaned back on the palm of his hands, you darted up a brow. So he wanted more, did he? You thought for a moment. What could you possibly bug him about?
“I get the left side of the bed.”
“Done.”
“I get to shower first.”
“We’ll shower together.”
“We won’t.”
“Fine….” He pouted before muttering that he agreed to it. That triumphed smile of yours turned his dark eyes into slits as he bit his own tongue. He knew you were doing this to get a rise out of him and you were succeeding. “Anything else?” His voice an octave lower as his words purred within a growl. Dangerously close to sitting him off, you shook your head. You could easily think of a few things later.
“When do I have to move in with you?” Taehyung genuinely laughed. Slipping off the counter, he pulled the pack of nearly empty cigarettes out and lit one up.
“You really think I’m gonna let you stay here another night?” Shaking his head, he moved past you and head up the small flight of stairs. “You’re coming home with me tonight.” He called down to you. Running up the steps, you stopped short of entering the room when you saw that Taehyung was taking the liberty of packing you a few bags. Shaking a dresser drawer out into a bag, wasn’t quite the way you would pack, but at least you didn’t have to do it. Besides it was only across town. Zipping up the final bag, Taehyung shook his head to move his hair from his eyes. “I’ll have your things brought to the house tomorrow. But right now, you’re coming home with me.”
You made no effort in arguing with him. There was no point because he was going to have his way whether you liked it or not and you both knew it. Gathering a few things from the bathroom, you shoved them into one of the many bags Taehyung packed before throwing it over your shoulder.
“I really hope that you’ve made room for all of my things, seeing as you knew this day was coming.” You could only see him smiling as he battled with four bags alone.
“Rest assure that you’ll have plenty of space to settle in.” Taehyung knew what you was up to and it wasn’t going to work on him. You were coming tonight and there was nothing that you could say that would change his mind. Basking in victory, Taehyung made his way down stairs and to his car, that rarely saw the light of day. Tossing the last bag in on what Taehyung managed to shove into the trunk, you slipped into the passenger side and waited for Taehyung to join you.
Slamming the trunk closed, he locked up the house before returning to the car. “How much clothes do you really need?” He asked, allowing a quick peek at you from the corner of his eyes before focusing on the road ahead.
“You’re one to talk. Remember, I’ve been in your place before and you have just as much as I do.”
“Yeah but…I’m older than you.”
“That’s it? That’s the best you can come up with?”
“Just…just shut up.”
It was times like that, where he made you feel most human. It made you smile to know that maybe it might not be as bad as she always thought it was. That Taehyung would actually save you from the hell you thought you were going to have to endure.
“Oh!” You perked up in your seat causing Taehyung to look over one more time.
“What?”
“I have just one more request.”
His snort made you almost giggle. “Request? Don’t you mean demand?” You only shrugged. “What is it?”
“You definitely are not going to hover over me and tell me when to feed. I’m trying to get the hang of this and promising to be your mate was letting you know that I’m willing. I just need time.”
How could he agree to that? He knew how long you had waited in the past. There was no way he was going to watch you not feed for days.
“I’ll try, but there is no way I can sit there and watch you if you persist on go more than a week.” Taehyung made that clear as well. Considering that you thought he wouldn’t even agree to that, you nodded your head. Finding some comfort in your agreement, Taehyung exhaled deeply. Pulling up in front of the nice thatched roof home, he tucked his car away in the garage and took your things up to the bedroom. Walking through the threshold, you looked around the house. It was nothing like you ever expected, you never seemed to have gotten use to that. It was cozy and warm. There had always been a fire crackling in the hearth each time you had been there, which was rarely considering Taehyung was a very private person. Now that you were going to be living there, maybe you could learn more about who you ‘married.’
Poking through the room, you caught glimpses of photographs tucked into corners of bookcases, knick knacks displayed front and center on shelves. Book after book, the spines cracked from centuries of reading. Candles littered the mantle in different shapes and sizes, each burning and floating the scent of pine throughout the house. The silence was calming. The house was nearly tucked into the woods only two other houses were nearby, unlike your place that sat near the park. Cascading your fingers down the curve of an hour glass, you jumped when you heard Taehyung from behind.
“Memorizing things already?” A hint of laughter blatant in his voice as you spun around.
“Do you mind not sneaking up on me like that? If I was holding this, it would be broken by now.”
Taehyung shrugged as he looked at the object that glimmered with light that bounced from the dancing flames of the candles. “It can always be replaced.” His home was almost a museum. Each knick knack could have very well been an artifact. Each priceless, yet he shrugged his shoulder as if it didn’t mean a thing. “This is just…stuff, Y/N. It’s here cause it fills a spot that would otherwise be empty, but most of them don’t mean anything to me. There are few things in this world that mean anything to me. And it’s not some hourglass. What do I need with time, when I have forever?” He shrugged lazily again before planting himself down on the oversized white fur couch. You shrugged when he made a good point. It seemed like everything that you thought was important as a human seemed meaningless and everything you took for granted was more important than ever.
“I guess you’re right.” Even so, you carefully put the hourglass back on the shelf before taking a seat next to him on the couch. “Soooo, this is how Kim Taehyung spends a day huh?” The puzzling look that claimed his features made you laugh.
“I wish my days afforded endless laziness. In fact, I would love for that to be a requirement. But it’s just not the case. You’ll soon realize what we have to do in order to keep us all safe and this town working as it does.” Taehyung’s arms spanned across the back of the couch, making himself even more comfortable. “Perhaps then you might take all of this a bit more seriously.”
“I take this seriously Tae…it’s the reason I don’t want to do it. Because I know in order for me to maintain this thing that I am…someone else must suffer…even die.”
“Don’t worry.” His hand cupped your chin, making you look into his glistening onyx eyes, “I will feed enough for the both of us…you can feed from me.” The unsure nod of your head would have to do for agreement. Taehyung was relieved to even get that from you. “Good,” He smiled before pushing off the couch and holding his hand out to you, “Let’s go get you settled in.”

Kim Taehyung x Reader (Featuring: Members of BTS) Vampire AU
Summary: {You would have much rather been a human, but you weren’t giving much of a choice when it was the only solution Taehyung could come up with at the moment. Now you found yourself in a community crawling with vampires and at the brink of war.}
[I’ve decided to make them more human-like so things like the sun can’t hurt them, garlic...please. I gave them hearts so don’t mistake them for those old vampire stories. They’re my own kind of vampire.]
Throwing the last bit of twigs on the fire, Kim Taehyung plopped down on the fallen tree that had conveniently found itself around the lake. The sun had long set behind the hills surrounding the small valley that cradled the town of Grim Hallow. The sky began to blacken, only lit by the twinkling stars and a moon that engulfed the dark, clear canopy.
Stick in hand, Taehyung poked at the flames watching them leap up as if they were performing. So far this get together was a bust. All the usual suspects were there. Kim Seokjin, making rounds around the perimeter as if he was expecting someone to ambush them. Park Jimin trekked back toward the fire with a bucket of water. Jeon Jungkook lost in thought as he watched the dancing embers in the flames. Last, but not least, was Min Yoongi, scrolling through recent gossip on whatever social network he found interesting at the time on his cell phone.
The party from the night before proved to be as mind numbing as the last, and the time before that and even the time before that. The hunger for the hunt was growing and time to claim what they needed was running short. It didn’t help when it seemed Kim Namjoon and Jung Hoseok were there every minute, ‘breathing’ down their necks. The tension was getting to Seokjin, as he seemed to be more uptight than usual. Taehyung was sure that Seokjin might actually turn on Namjoon the next time he snapped his fingers at the vampire.
“I’m done,” Seokjin announced, causing everyone to look over in curiosity. Jungkook hiked a brow knowing full well what this was about or rather what it should be about. “We’re not going to listening to Namjoon or Hoseok. I’m sick and tired of their shit…they can continue to think we’re playing by their rules but last night…I lost whatever little shred of respect I had for them.”
The sneers were the only approvals Seokjin needed to know that he wasn’t alone. Taehyung didn’t even want to think about last night. The way that Namjoon tried to mesmerize Y/N had nearly drove him to the point of insanity. The only thing that stopped Taehyung from attacking was Jimin and oddly enough, Seokjin, who wanted nothing more to have Namjoon’s head on a silver platter. Perhaps paired with a nice wine, something to wash the disgusting taste from his mouth after he tore the bastard limb from limb.
“It’s about damn time we see eye to eye on something.” Jungkook seemed genuinely excited about Seokjin’s sudden change of heart  if he even had one. Seokjin only gave Jungkook a passing glance before he began his walk of liberation around the ever-growing flames.
“And how do you plan on ignoring him but making it seem like you’re still that measly little shell of a man you were only a couple of minutes ago answering yes master to his every beck and call?” Yoongi inquired, only to be met with a sneer and a few snickers.
“Would you like to help me demonstrate?” Seokjin asked, baring his fangs as a mere breath separated them. Yoongi could only show a half-cocked smirk before Seokjin turned on the balls of his heels.
“Yoongi’s not wrong,” Taehyung added, finally tossing the twig into the fire pit. Seokjin looked at the dark haired man. It seemed as if everyone had something to say, but Seokjin remained quiet, letting Taehyung explain himself. “Namjoon will eventually know we‘re not listening to him…what are you going to do then. If we‘re going to do this, you can‘t run like a scared bitch when he comes looking for you?”
“And there’s not much you can do with all these fucking mortals around. If they see something out of the ordinary, they’ll freak the hell out and that’s the last thing we need. A bunch of idiots out here either trying to kill us or telling everyone what we are.” Jimin added. To that Seokjin offered a smirk as well.
“We’ll use them to our advantage.”
            “How?” Jungkook‘s inquisitive mind wondered.
“We change them and not tell Namjoon. Create an ‘army’ if you will.”
“I like the sound of that. Why waste time, let’s get started.” Jungkook leaped to his feet, fangs extended as he readied himself. But of course, Seokjin put a damper on his parade.
As Seokjin shook his head, Jungkook almost went into pout mode but saved face as he turned with a snarl to pace the area as the others continued to discuss the matter at hand.
“That’s your plan?” Yoongi laughed and shook his head slightly before standing to his full height. “You must think Namjoon’s stupid.” Yoongi had lived within Namjoon’s haven for centuries before Namjoon placed him with the others. Planning to use Yoongi as his eyes and ears, only to have Yoongi deflect. He wasn’t one who took to authority and it showed 99 percent of the time.
“Pretty much.” Taehyung assured him as Yoongi’s dark eyes stared at him to the point Taehyung had to break eye contact.
“You might be right, but he hasn’t been the leader for this long without reason…you think you’re pretty secretive but I assure you that he knows more than you think.”
“He’s right.” Seokjin knew Namjoon had been keeping up with some of the things that had been going on within the small town. He was well aware when Namjoon had informed him of it at the party. It wasn’t something that he was expecting, but now that he knew, it came to his attention that they were going to have to be more careful. “How do you suggest we do this shit without him finding out?”
“Don’t do it here. The smell would be clear indication that something happened.”
“You’re suggesting we go out there?” Jungkook spun around, his brows furrowed with disbelief. “Where the fuck do you plan on us going? And how the hell do you plan on getting those idiotic mortals to follow us?”
“If you would listen before throwing in your worthless two cents, you’d know.” Yoongi barked before finishing his explanation. “A couple of miles outside of town, just outside of the reach of our forest is a cave…it leads to an abandoned cavern. It was used many centuries ago by the Lycan who use to inhabit this area.” All eyes shot up looking at Yoongi in disbelief as well.
“This place use to belong to wolves?” Jimin asked, his jaw locking as his lips pursed together. Yoongi only nodded his head. No one knew exactly how old Yoongi was, nor did they really know anything about his life. He was pretty secretive and didn’t speak about himself all that often. They could only trust what he said and hoped they could count on his word.
“Namjoon would never be the wiser and you have your army…but we could do it here. Just letting you know it won’t work.”
“Then I want you to go to the caverns tomorrow… Take Taehyung and Jungkook with you. We should check it out and make sure no one's been there.” Seokjin informed them, getting unison nods of agreement from everyone else.
It was on the brink of nightfall when you finally left work. Making handmade jewelry didn’t seem like a hard job and it really wasn’t, but you and y/f/n and business partner, had been getting a lot of business ever since you opened X&O.
Dressed in your slinky mini and a leather jacket covering your tank top, you trotted down the street. Your spiky boot heels, echoing along the sidewalk, alerting anyone who might have been close by.
Being the predator he was, Taehyung was always nearby, watching you. In a city less than one hundred people it wasn’t that hard to track you down, though that was never a problem for him. Your scent was an intoxicating drug, nearly turning him every time it caressed the air. You plagued him with such lust; he wondered how he was suppressing this for so long. You were already his, but being the confounded woman you were, you refused to take it seriously, making him the laughing stock of Grim Hallow. At least you hadn’t castrated him of total manhood.
You knew he watched you, followed you…he couldn’t help it. He did say you had mesmerized him. That played in your favor because as much as you played it off as he disgusted you to a point, you loved all of his attention. No matter what you did, he was always going to be there.
Stopping at the light post, you could feel him near, his eyes peeling away the layers of clothes you wore. It almost pleased you to a degree as you leaned down, tugging on your black stockings that bared a run in it, letting the porcelain flesh of your thigh peek through. Taehyung’s teeth scrape across his lips to the point they drew blood. Drawing in his bottom lip, he sucked the crimson fluid before snatching you and dragging you into an alley. Pushed against the wall with such force you only smiled when you saw it was Taehyung. His head buried against you, his nose trailing heavy breaths across your chilled skin. One hand circled your wrist, pinning it against the brick of the building behind you. His other arm embracing you waist, not allowing you to run even if you wanted to. Y/N wish she said she hated when he became so dominate but that was what she found most attractive about him. Her breath hinged upon asking him something when his lips mashed against hers. Making very little effort to get away, you found your free arm instinctively wrapping him, your hand gathering the fabric of his jacket.
“Come on, let’s go home.” When those words rolled off your lips he could only smile and lace his fingers between yours.
            “Whose?”
“Mine of course. You’re welcome to make a meal out of me then leave when you’re done so I can cry about how disgusted I am with myself.” You purred as a smirk lingered on your lips. He only met your smirk with his own.
“Works for me.” He played along.
            “You’re such a gentleman.”
“Aren’t I though?” His eyes seemed to glow a dark hue of gold in the darkness. Dodging any eyes that could have been watching you after his little display, you pulled him through any alleyway that got you to your small house near the park quicker. Walking through the thresh hold, you tossed your jacket across the banister and flopped down on the steps of your staircase to pull your boots off while Taehyung closed the door behind him and locked up.
“Did you feed at all?” Taehyung asked, pulling the tight, thigh-length leather jacket off his lean torso. You neglected to answer as you strolled to the kitchen. Taehyung knew all too well what that meant. “Y/N…” He followed after you as you filled a glass full of tap water.
“Tae, I’m fine. I don’t need to feed every day like you think!” You turned the water off and took a long drink of the cool fluid.
“You don’t know what you need.” He assured her, crossing his ankles as he leaned on the doorframe. Your brows furrowed and pursed your lips together, crossing one arm over the other as you stared at him.
            “And you do?”
“When it comes to this, yes.”
It was the same thing over and over. A non-stop broken record of how he was right and you were wrong. You knew he was right, but it went against everything if you admitted it. You had to stand firm against him if you didn’t want to turn into the lamb that needed him at every whim. Turning so he wouldn’t see you rolling her eyes, you tossed your glass into the sink, shattering it. It was only a glass, it could be replaced. Taehyung didn’t flinch, his brow only inched up. He knew he was pushing buttons with you. It wasn’t something he should have cared about. He was your sire. You were his and no matter how much you wanted to fight it, nothing would change that fact.
“You need to feed, and I’m not leaving until you do.”
“Then you’re going to be highly disappointed. I’m going to bed.” Flicking off the light, you left him in complete darkness. As you reached your bedroom, you turned on the table lamp and peeled your tank top off. Turning to toss the thin fabric toward the hamper, there stood Taehyung like a peeping tom. “God, do you have in morals?” You wrapped the blanket around you and quickly grabbed your nightgown, pulling it on.
“You should know the answer to that one by now is a resounding no.” He watched your ridiculous display of covering what he had seen plenty of times over. “Why the sudden cover up?” Taehyung flopped down on the bed, putting his arms behind his head. You stared at him as he apparently made himself comfortable on your king sized foam mattress.
“I’m not interested in entertaining you tonight if you catch my drift.” You shimmied out of your mini skirt and slowly ran the stockings down your legs before tossing them out.
“I was looking forward to entertaining you, to be honest.” He sat up, reaching out; he grabbed your small waist and pulled you close. Burying his head into your flat tummy, his hands wrapped around you, rooting up the small of your back. You sighed and slipped your trembling fingers through his dark brown hair. The moment he felt you, his hands slowly inched up the hem of your button up shirt that you passed off as a nightgown. He knew full well it was one of his shirts he had left there, but your secret was safe with him. When his lips pressed against your flesh, you seized all movement. His fingers plucked apart one set of buttons to reveal your navel before he did the same to the next set. His eyes slowly raked up your body, before bringing you down to straddle him. “Feed.” He spoke softly, his lips only a breath from yours. Never once had you enjoyed feeding. Not at the bar and surely not from a person, especially Taehyung.
“Trust me I’m fine.” You knew he wouldn’t hear it, but there was no harm in trying. Holding you to him with his tight embrace, Taehyung bared his fangs. His once dark eyes, now red, the color of coursing blood.
            “I said feed.”
Morning hit and much to your surprise, you survived another night of not feeding. Though you were sure that when the corpse next to you woke, he wouldn’t be as pleased with your accomplishment. It didn’t matter anyways; you had to be at work…ten minutes ago. Nearly leaping out of bed, you jumped into a freezing shower that was all of but two minutes long. Brushed your teeth, pulled your wet locks into a low ponytail, dressed and headed out the door. You were nearly thirty minutes late walking in when Y/F/N spun around.
            “Decide to sleep in?”
“You can thank Taehyung when you see him.”
Y/F/N mind took it directly to the gutter. Normally you wouldn’t blame her, but today she couldn’t be more wrong. Maybe reading Y/F/N mind wasn’t the best thing to be doing at the time, but it would save them both a lot of trouble in the end.
“And no it wasn’t because we had sex all night long. Though that would have been more pleasant rather than listening to him all night long.”
            “About?”
Was there some way you could turn off this conversation? Just hit a mute button? Or let’s forget about this whole conversation button. Something useful you could use? Alas, your vampiric powers, as a fledgling sucked... no pun intended.
            “Feeding.”
“Feeding?! Oh feediiiiiiiiing.” Y/F/N got the point and went back to beading a new piece of jewelry. “Why? I mean it’s really none of my business but do you feed from people around town or go outside or does Taehyung get all kinky and.”
“Yeah let’s no go there.” You interrupted Y/F/N train of thought not letting it side rail on to a track that she didn’t want to go.
            “How long has it been?”
           “Let’s just say a while.”
“How long?” Y/F/N asked again, she might not know much, but what she was able to research online she had a pretty good idea. You shrugged as your pale hands gathered supplies and you moved behind the crafting table.
“I don’t know maybe two days…or nearly a week.” You mumbled the last part, but Y/F/N clearly heard you.
“A week!?! Y/N you need to feed. I know we made a pact to always agree Taehyung was wrong and you were right…But I think he might be right this time…. “
“How dare you.” You muttered, tossing your tools across the table. Three against one…your self-conscious was even against you in this one. “Well, I hate it. It’s disgusting and…it scares me.” You hated turning into something you never thought you could be. Turning into this person with no control over what you were doing. Anyone who knew you knew you liked to be in control of mostly everything.
“You know it’s the only way you can live.” Y/F/N told you as she played with her phone she had hidden under the table. As long as you didn’t know she was texting Taehyung as you spoke, she should be able to live to see another day.
“I know. But If I can go this long, why should I do it every day when I clearly don’t have to. It’s bullshit and I think it just turns Taehyung on.” And the thought of that sent a shiver down your spine, whether it is good or bad, it was the last thing you needed to be thinking about. “And since I’m fine, let’s just get to work. We have a lot of shit to finish and I don’t wanna be here all night again.”
Not even five minutes later, Taehyung burst through the door, half dressed. Jeans hanging loosely off his hips, as he stuffed himself into his t-shirt in less than two seconds Threading a hand through his limp hair, he stared at you. Casually looking up from the beads, you smiled.
            “Can I help you?”
            “Nearly a week?!?!”
You cut her eyes over at Y/F/N who nearly crawled under the desk.
“Sorry…but I had to tell him.” Y/F/N whimpered avoiding all eye contact. There was no point in looking at you when she knew you were giving her the stink face.
“Exactly how many days, Y/N Y/L/N?!” When he used your full name you knew he meant business. It was full on over protective mode and god knew how much you loved that.
            “ Five.”
Grabbing your wrist, he jerked you around the table. “Mind if I borrow her?” He asked and waited for no reply as he pulled you to the back. You had no choice but to follow, nearly tripping several times in the process. “What the fuck, Y/N?!”
Y/F/N heard Taehyung burst, she cringed for her best friend, but it was for your own good, right? She hoped.
“I don’t need to feed every day! Look at me, I’m fine!” You protested once again, knowing that you might very well lose this battle. Especially if he brought anyone else into it.
“No, you look like shit.” He spoke bluntly, “Well you know what I mean.” Your skin was nearly translucent, her hair was ratty and limp, your beautiful eyes faded and sunken in. You looked like you were fighting a cold…and losing. “You’re feeding and if you don’t…then I’ll let you deal with Seokjin…and you know what he’ll do to you.”
You were well aware of it. You had been there several times. They had to force feed you each visit. Seokjin was beginning to think they had made the wrong choice with you. He knew you had potential, but you were refusing to let yourself be that person they knew you could be. That monster. And a monster was far from anything you wanted to be.
“I know…I don’t want to go back there.” You admitted, picking at the hem of your shirt. Stepping forward, he enveloped you into his arms, kissing the crown of your head.
“Then let me help you…I know you’re still having trouble. You don’t have to be scared of me. I promise. “ He didn’t have to make you promises. You knew you could trust him. The problem wasn’t with him, it was with you. Cupping your face with his hands, he forced you to look at him. “Hey look at me…it’ll be okay.” Picking you up off the ground, he settled you on the desk. Pulling out the chair, he sat in front of you, kissing your bare knee before making a small slice into his arm.
“Here?! Y/F/N in the next room.” You protested.
“Don’t worry. I’ll keep you under control. Now drink up.” He offered his wrist. Watching the dark red blood slowly trace a path down his arm, you scooted to the edge of the desk. It took a moment before you reluctantly trailed your tongue up his forearm. Placing your lips over the wound, the warm liquid filled your mouth. “It’s okay.” He assured you again, watching the change in your eyes as it coated your throat. It didn’t take much coaxing after that. You began drinking willingly even allowing Taehyung to pull you to his lap and hold you. Cradling you for your own safety and perhaps Y/F/N. Brushing his lips against your ear as he felt you shake within his grasp, he spoke softly to you in an ancient dialect. But no matter what he said in tongues, you understood every word he spoke.
His face began to draw in the longer you drunk from him. His fangs digging into his own bottom lip, holding out for as long as he could before he eventually had to cut you off. “Stop.” He commanded several times before he broke you lose. Increased rapid breathing, dilated pupils and red irises were all signs that you were still in a feeding frenzy. He couldn’t let you go. Not with Y/F/N there. Suppressing you to the back room, until it passed was all he could do.
“ Y/F/N don’t come back here, Okay. It might not be safe.” Taehyung called out to her. Y/F/N knew that meant Taehyung most likely got you to feed, and there was no way she was going back there and witnessing any of that. She didn’t know what it looked like in real life, and the movie Twilight probably wasn’t the best example.
“Alright.” Y/F/N agreed as she put the finishing touches of the piece of jewelry she had been working on the whole time. She was just glad they weren’t loud and she prayed to god that they didn’t do anything else across those tables. She really didn’t want to go back there touching places that could have been used as sex tools.
A few short minutes felt like hours when your eyes returned along with the pinkish hue to your cheeks. “Hey.” Taehyung smiled at you from hooded eyes. “See you didn’t tear the place apart.”
“You okay?” You asked noticing the change in his appearance. Nodding his head, he chuckled slightly.
“It’s quite adorable that you think you could hurt me.” A swift smack to the arm, Taehyung yelp, before tossing you off his lap. “You’re fine.”
“Hey!” You clamored as you hit the floor with a thud. Pushing up off the ground, you swatted him again only for him to dodge it.
Seokjin rounded the room and made himself comfortable in the armchair at the head of the table. A tall glass of crimson liquid sat in a goblet before him as you sat across from him, playing coy, as you blatantly ignored yours.
“Drink up, Y/N.” Seokjin crossed one long leg over the other. His eyes fixated on the beautiful vampire at the other end of the table. You sneered at the glass, simply pushing it from your sight. The detested look on Seokjin’s face was blatantly obvious as you dared to glance over.
“I’m not thirsty.” You murmured, playing with the trim of the lacy table runner.
“Is that so?” Seokjin inquired, his digits pressed against each other as he leaned in, resting his elbows on the old mahogany dining table. Looking up from the delicate fabric, you saw the flicker of red behind his onyx spheres.
“I think I would be aware of my own thirst.”
Your eyes took in the shimmering of the deep red liquid. It had been a lie. You had been holding back from the hunger that had been calling out to you for days. Your breaths nearly catching in your throat as you tried desperately to settle it before Seokjin sensed the deceit. But he grew curious, pushing up from the plush armchair, he made long strides across the Persian rug only to stop abruptly, looming over the young girl who avoided all eye contact.
“I said drink.” His voice filled with malice as he raked his nails across your neck, dragging your long locks of hair behind your shoulder. “Before I make you.” The curl of his accent cooed as his lips brush along your earlobe. Your trembling hand cradled the goblet, your petite frame visibly shaking as he continued to tower over you almost wanting you to defy his commands.
“Do you have to stand over me?”
“It’s my understanding that I do.” His enormous hand covered yours, bringing the rim of the glass to your lightly painted lips. “Drink up. We wouldn’t want this to turn violent. Taehyung wouldn’t think too kindly of that.”
A thick layer of the crimson liquid coated the goblet, loafing a foul aroma that made your stomach turn more than once. As the blood touched your lips, you immediately pushed the glass away, spitting out the concoction.
As you proceeded to wipe your lips, you clammed up hearing the shattering of a glass and Seokjin’s uproar following.
“You are an ungrateful little...” He held his tongue, not wanting to regret saying something he didn’t honestly mean. Spinning on the heels of his boots, he stormed toward you, plucking you from the chair and dragging you from the dining hall. “If you’re too good to take what I graciously provide for you, I’d like to see you survive outside my city.”
A sheer panic washed over your once delicate features, your nails raking at his soft flesh drawing blood.
“What are you doing?!” You screamed relentlessly struggling to break free from his eminence grip. Despite your desperate attempts, you did nothing but further enrage him. He whipped around, a dark scowl etched into his chiseled face when he pinned you against the stonewall.
“I gave you a choice. You picked Taehyung!” He hissed, as the racing pace of his heated breaths flushed your skin. Dodging another glare, you gazed out the nearby window. You bit your lip, holding back that fight that brewed within. You could have easily called for Taehyung and escape the wrath in which you was enduring, and exactly what would you be doing? Stirring up trouble that didn’t need to be. Keeping this between you and Seokjin was far better than having Taehyung in a savage rage.
“As I recall, I had no say in who sired me.” Your troubled voice hissed weakly, almost afraid to speak your mind, though you were well aware he could read your every thought if he wanted. He steered clear of that, he didn’t want to relive any of those memories. Anything that could take him back to that dark place you both were once intertwined. “Exactly. You left me…a breath from death because you couldn’t accept that I didn’t want this life. And regardless of what Taehyung did, Taehyung didn’t leave me. And if I remember the rules correctly, you broke them by leaving me alive. So don’t sneer at me and make me feel guilty for your failure.”
“I let you live!” He bellowed slamming his fist into the wall, causing you to lose composure for a moment.
“Only with the choice to become like you! You knew I never wanted this!” Your mere screams now a quiver as you neared tears, something Seokjin had never seen for years.
            “Is there a problem?”
Seokjin straightened to his towering height, turning to catch a glimpse of Jimin from the corner of his eye. Seeing your chance, you broke free from Seokjin’s vicious grip.
“No,” He huffed, steadily regaining his composure.
“Y/N?” Jimin glanced past his long time friend at the frightened young girl. A moment of silence past before you bolted toward the door and disappeared. Watching after you for only a split second, Jimin turned to see he was now alone in the corridor.
Rushing through the crumbling courtyard of the Abbey, you fled into the dense forest that covered the town like a shroud. You needed to get as far as possible from Seokjin. From everyone at that point. You had to as you felt the beast within you fighting what little shred of humanity you had left. A part of you wanted to let loose and show Seokjin just what you were capable of. Even if it meant you would have to die for your actions. But then there was that part that was hinged on Taehyung, telling you that you knew you couldn’t go through with it.
The safety of your house was all that separated them from you. What kept you from breathing them in and listening to their blood beckon you unknowingly. Their hearts beat like African drums, summoning you to a feast. Feeling your fangs protrude, you barricaded yourself in the bedroom, sinking into a dark corner and hiding from what you were.
“Y/N?” Taehyung called out again as he made his way through the dark room. All the curtains were drawn as the dead silence was nearly deafening. “Y/N.” He felt the panic sweep through him. “Where is she?" He could even identify the fear in his own voice as he rushed up the stairs, two at a time. “Y/N! Y/N, baby where are you?”
If something happened to you, Seokjin would regret it. It wasn’t like Jimin to turn on a friend, but when it came to you, he sung like a canary. He didn’t waste any time making sure Taehyung knew what he encountered. A heated Seokjin and a helpless Y/N who seemed more upset than he had ever seen you. In fact, he wasn’t sure he had ever seen you cry, or for that matter anyone's cries for many years. Taehyung was beyond furious with Seokjin, but would take up matters with him later. He could pretty much take a wild guess about what this was all about, and it took more than a couple of vampires to hold him back.
“Y/N?” He pressed against your door, slightly turned the knob of your door only to feel the barricade behind it. “Y/N! Open the door, It’s Tae.” His knuckles wrapped against the door, sending an echo off the empty hallway walls. “Y/N.” Wasting his breath was getting him nowhere and with a ram of his shoulder he took the door from its hinges and destroyed whatever pinned the door to the frame.
Scanning the room, he found your small translucent frame sprawled in the corner. Your wavy locks of hair spilled across the hardwood floor, your sparse breaths were violent as you jerked up the moment you saw the male vampire. Your blood red irises glared at him as you scurried to another corner.
“Y/N…it’s okay.” This was the second time it had happened in less than a month. Lucky for him, you weren't as powerful as, Jungkook. Taehyung could handle you alone. Slowly inching toward you, he stopped the moment you hissed baring your fangs at him. “That’s very cute Y/N…we both know you’re not going to hurt me.” He sure hoped he was right.  He didn’t need another bum shoulder from another frenzied vampire.
“You’d deserve it. You did this to me!”
            He froze.
           He just stood there.
            Unmoved.
            Unchanged…
You were right, he did this to you. He saved himself from the heartache of losing you only to give you a life you never wanted for yourself. Perhaps he was selfish? But he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t let you go.
“I know…” He admitted throwing you completely off guard. You were expecting a response, but something along the lines of it was for your own good as if any of them knew what was good for you. If they knew or cared they would have respected your wishes and let you go when you wanted. “I’m sorry. It was the only way I could save you…you didn’t want to be saved but…I couldn’t just let you go. Not when I…everyone needed you. It was selfish, but I would never take it back. I don’t care if you hate me or if you never forgive me…. I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I would have done what you wanted.”
You didn’t hate Taehyung. It was quite the opposite, though you did bore some resentment toward him. But he never went back on his word. He told you that he would be there whenever you needed him and you never once felt alone afterward. Sometimes he played the role all too well, pestering you more than you would have liked, but it could have been worse you supposed.
You almost felt guilty for yelling at him. For blaming him. It wasn’t entirely his fault. He would have never made you this way if Seokjin hadn’t tried in the first place. And in that sense, you harbored more hate toward Seokjin than anyone else.
The solemn silence was vociferating, to say the least. Each could barely handle the quick beats of the others hearts as they pulsed in unison. Taehyung bared it for a moment longer before he dared to inch toward you once again, his hand reaching out for yours. “I know this is the last thing you want to hear, but you have to feed, if not from me, then anything…we can go to the bar and get you what you need.”
Your dilated pupils soon descended into large beautiful spheres. Your innocent face housed a pair of furrowing brows, looking as confused as ever. Slowly draping your small hand into his, you pushed yourself off the floor.
“Come, let’s go. I’ll make sure you get something.” Taehyung urged, spinning around, making his way toward the door.
“I don’t wanna go.” You told him, your hand slipping from his as you plopped down on the bed. Instantly, Taehyung let his head fall back in aggravation as his hands anchored to his hips. An exasperated sigh escaped before he could stop himself. Was it always going to be a fight getting you to feed? Doing a near perfect pirouette, he glared at you, his arms moving from one dramatic stance to another as he folded them over his chest. “I already know what you’re thinking, and if you would take a little time to concentrate, you’d know what I was thinking also.” You could only smile, biting your lip playfully as Taehyung was left clueless for a moment. “I don’t wanna go out. I want you to stay here.” Getting to your knees, you beckoned him over with the wiggle of her finger, luring him in as he advanced on you like an animal.
It seemed you were walking into work more and more in the mornings, more than she really wanted to. It was becoming somewhat of a problem the moment you were dragged into the life of a god-forsaken immortal. And she thought being an awkward teenager was bad… Pulling off a pair of designer shades and tossing them on the table, you collapsed in the closest chair.
“What’s wrong with you?” Y/F/N dared to tread in dangerous territory when she nearly wanted to crawl under her desk for a sense of security when you glared at her.
“Besides the obvious vampire thing? I’m having a bad day.” First of all, you were harboring an enormous headache and second, you felt sick to your stomach, almost nauseated. “Seokjin is official on my shit list for being a piece of shit. And I think I’m in love with Tae.”
“What?” Y/F/N came out of her shell to hear that again. The man you said was repulsive, and couldn’t stand how he hovered over you. That forceful and relentless man was who you were in love with.
“Don’t make me say it again. You’re lucky I’m saying it at all and it’s only because I don’t know what to do.”
“Seriously? You guys have been together for long enough, I mean shouldn’t you just tell him.”
You sighed as you shook your head. Standing up, you made your way across the room and poured yourself a cup of coffee before hunkering down in the chair again. “It’s not that easy.” You wished you could tell Y/F/N why. The whole Seokjin thing, to make her understand where you were coming from. “Taehyung only sired me because I was sick and we’re friends. It’s nothing more than that.” Whether you were in denial or completely oblivious, you believed it to be nothing but the truth. “Being sired isn’t like some fairy tale, happily ever after kind of crap. They aren’t prince charmings and they aren’t going to whisk you away to some magical kingdom. They make you a monster that kills to survive and you’re a prisoner. Not a prisoner as in they won’t let you leave, but a prisoner to this life…You’ll have a life, but it never, ever ends…I can’t even begin to imagine how I’m going to spend an eternity that I don’t even want. I mean not anymore.”
Y/F/N chewed the inner corner of her cheek only presenting you with a small lopsided grin.
“I don’t wanna talk about it anymore.” You gave up trying to understand, “It’s nearly lunch time anyways. You wanna go grab a bite to eat?” You grabbed your worn jean jacket and pulled it over your shoulders before grabbing your tote bag that you grabbed in a hurry that morning.
The morning seemed to pass by rather quickly Y/F/N thought, as she wasted no time in gathering her belongings as well and high tailing it out of the shop after locking up.
The restaurant of choice wasn’t by choice at all as it was the only place in town to grab a bite to eat unless you felt like cooking and you certainly weren’t a cook be any means. Stepping foot into the tiny dive bar meant you were for certain were going to run into Taehyung. Normally it wouldn’t have been a bad thing for most girls, but then again, you weren’t most girls and Taehyung didn’t concern himself with any girls besides you anyway.
You could feel the lingering of eyes on you the moment you and Y/F/N walked through the door. It wasn’t that hard to attract attention especially when you were rumored to be the girlfriend of a Kim Taehyung. He had been in the town way longer than most have known. Some even said he was older than Seokjin, even older than Namjoon and Hoseok, but you…she couldn’t have cared less. A Vampire was a vampire no matter if they were a master or fledgling. She might have liked the attention at one time, but now, well it was different. Choosing the booth in the furthest corner, you darted in and looked at the menu, knowing full well Taehyung wasn’t going to give you what you wanted. Who were you kidding; it wasn’t like you were hungry for human food to begin with.
The creaking of the door caught their attention. Knowing it was the door that leads to what the older ones called the ‘VIP lounge’, but was nothing more that a storage room for the vampires' supplements, you didn’t even bother to acknowledge it. For Y/F/N, it was a different story, as she saw Taehyung poke his head out as if he knew you had just walked in the room.
“It’s Tae…isn’t it?” You questioned as Y/F/N smiled and picked through her menu.
            “Yep.”
            “I knew it…”
You knew exactly what he was going to do the moment he made his way over to your table. Before he could even get a word in, you and Y/F/N bombarded him with your order. Y/F/N ordered the works, a cheeseburger, fries, a soda and a milkshake and you chose to nibble on a garden salad and water much to Taehyung’s distaste.
“Do I look like the damn waiter?” He griped, nudging you until you made room in the booth for him to plop down next to you. You felt his onyx eyes staring you down, though you made no attempt to catch him in the act.
            “What?”
“You’re just going to have salad and water?” He asked, twirling an unlit cigarette between his fingers before parting his perfect, pouty lips and letting the filter linger at the corner of his mouth. With the quick flick of a lighter, he took a long drag eventually blowing a puff of smoke into the air.
“That’s what I said, didn’t I?” You questioned, tossing your menu on the table before finally staring at him, eye to eye. Pursing his lips, he narrowed his eyes a bit before growing tight-lipped. You knew he wanted to say something. It was obvious, but he couldn’t, not with everyone around them. For once, you could greet his anger with a smile, before he got all huffy and left you to get your order.
The meeting had been ongoing. Nearly an hour had passed and the empty chair next to Jimin had yet to be filled. It wasn’t like Taehyung to miss a meeting, and it had the others on edge. His absence was a blessing if you had asked Seokjin. Ever since Y/N stepped into the picture, the two had been butting heads on nearly everything. Jimin had been the only thing stopping Taehyung from ending Seokjin’s reign of idiocy and to that Seokjin thanked Jimin. But the younger vampire was well aware that Jimin could let Taehyung loose at any given moment if allowed. He tended to remain in his boundaries. Though he walked a fine line, he was doing his part job for the most part.
The earthy howl of the wind and the slamming of the Abbey’s great doors alerted the vampires. The haunting echoes of boot heels invaded the silence until Taehyung barreled through the great hall ignoring every last damned soul in the room until he had his hands around Seokjin’s throat and flung him from his so called throne. Not one man lifted from their chair as Seokjin dangled, pinned to the wall with a single hand. Taehyung’s eyes drowning in a pool of crimson as his hand tightened around the younger vampire's throat.
“Tae!” Jimin’s shouts went unheard as Taehyung’s low grumble morphed into a boisterous growl.
“Leave me to him, Jimin.” Taehyung howled turning his head slightly but his damning glare never left his prey. “What gives you the right to think you have to power to exile anyone from my home?” He hissed through grinding fangs, his nails digging into Seokjin’s throat before he could even speak. “Don’t even open your fucking mouth, flea, I’m not done speaking!” Seokjin’s enormous strength was nothing but a pinch to Taehyung as he tried to break free.
Taehyung had every intent on killing him as his primordial beast rendered him powerless to any mortality he might have been retaining at that point. It was long overdue and Seokjin’s lack of leadership had been noted many times. To the point, where his threats were simply empty and no one was in fear of anything, seeing it as the perfect opportunity to do what they want without the thought of consequences. Taehyung, for one, was sick and tired of the name one man was giving their group as a whole. Namjoon and Hoseok came and went as they pleased as if they had any reason to be there commanding them like their siring fledglings. Taehyung was going to put an end to it once and for all, and if Seokjin had to be the example, so be it.
The first blow came without warning. Seokjin noticed too late, unable to dodge the oncoming attack. A solid jab to his chin knocked him into the wall, enabling himself to catch his balance before he fell over, the second punch doubled him over and expelled the last bit of choked air from his gut. Taehyung shadowed over him, his claret orbs bulging with rage, and stared Seokjin right in his shifty little eyes. The younger vampire tried to stand but Taehyung launched his long leg at Seokjin’s fetal form, cracking one to his ribs, sending fresh ripples of pain through his torso.
“This pile of man, before you…. this so called leader tries to render us powerless while he, himself, stands back and breaks rules one.” He launched another kick to Seokjin’s ribs hearing a splintering crack. “By one.” Another kick had Seokjin finally howling with pain. “He thinks he has the right to do what he pleases at the snap of his fingers.”
“Taehyung.” Jimin voiced only to have Taehyung snap at him.
“No one fears us, because of this piece of shit, is too busy playing games with the women rather than putting pathetic insects like Namjoon into their place.”
Another solid kick had Seokjin choking up blood from his last feed.  “I warned you to keep your distance and you seem to think I was fucking joking.” He leaned over and pulled Seokjin’s beaten shell from the floor. Throwing him against the wall, his hand circling his throat once again as he looked him dead in the eyes.
“Y/N is mine, and mine alone,” Taehyung warned in a hushed predatorily sneer. “You make one more move on her, I will not hesitant to rip your throat out and let the fledglings drain whatever’s left. Are we clear?”
The rigid nod of Seokjin’s head, allowed him loose, as Taehyung discarded him like a rag doll and simply stepped over him as he heading toward the door. “From this point on, he is no longer addressed as the leader. Anyone who disagrees is free to bring it up with me whenever they wish to join him.” The discussion dissolved there as Taehyung stormed out of the Abbey leaving the others in complete disbelief.
“Tae!” He tried to turn a deaf ear to the callings of Jungkook, but he was a persistent little bastard. Halting in his tracks, Taehyung only waited until he felt Jungkook was lurking close enough, more than he wanted him to be. “What the hell was that all about? You have always lectured me about…”
Taehyung stopped him short of whatever he was going to say, knowing what he was thinking before it even needed to be said.
“This is different! And it’s a private matter. So I suggest you drop this conversation.” He wasn’t in the mood to defend his actions, nor inform Jungkook of what had actually happened.
“You can’t just tell everyone that Seokjin isn’t leader and expect no one to question it.” Perhaps his rash decision should have been thoroughly thought out and maybe perhaps speaking to them would have been a wise idea, but Taehyung clearly wasn’t thinking straight. He never did when it came to Y/N. Obviously, there was no way around this. He was going to have to tell them what had really happened.
“He told Y/N to leave Grim Hallow.”
“Why?” Jungkook’s upturned face etched with a puzzling expression. Taehyung wiped his hand down his lips, contemplating what he would say next.
“You are not to tell anyone this. I will tell them if they ask me, but you’re not to go behind my back and tell them. Do we have an understanding?”
“Pinky promise and shit, just tell me.”
He supposed that half-assed promise would have to do considering it was Jungkook. It was the first time Taehyung had even talked about what happened nearly a year ago, but it came to him as if it had happened that very day. He told him of the relationship Seokjin and you had and the friendship that you and himself shared. How Seokjin chose to sire you but you chose death over the life of an immortal and when Seokjin could not end your life, it left you sick and on the brink of death. Seokjin was going to leave you like that unless you agreed to his forced siring. When Taehyung found out, he was beyond furious with both Seokjin bending the rules and leaving you to suffer. Taehyung didn’t know how he managed to get you, a woman who was so headstrong and set in your ways to agree to allow him to sire you. He felt he cheated you. He knew you didn’t know what you were agreeing to. You could barely even speak at that point. But he refused to let you go. Not when he couldn’t let you go.
“She’s still sick…Seokjin can’t force her to leave just because he’s pissed. She won’t eat because he…and I gave her something she didn’t want.”
Everything started to make sense to Jungkook now. He was wondering why a fledgling was having a hard time adjusting. He could only imagine how hard it was, if you were still holding onto the humanity you lost but wanted it back so much. To still think of yourself as a mortal when you’re the farthest thing from being human. And he clearly understood Taehyung when he turned and looked at him for the longest time. The smallest hint of a smile on his lips though he tried his damnest to keep it hidden.
“You love her…don’t you? That’s why you waited until you knew she wouldn’t say no…cause you wouldn’t have been able to kill her either…It’s why you never told anyone.”
“I’m not in love with her.” Taehyung retaliated quickly, lying to both Jungkook and himself. How could he admit to loving you when you didn’t even see him that way? You had told him many times that he had sicken you and you hated him. Of course part of him didn’t believe it, or perhaps he was just too stubborn to believe it. There were times though you found each other in one another’s arms, his lips on yours, your hands caressing each other, finding pleasure without going too far. But you never went to that point, that point that leads you to wonder…was this just something that happened because it happened, or was it something neither one of you counted on. That there was something more to you two besides just being friends.
Taehyung was scared. Yes, this immortal monster was scared of you, a five-foot something fledgling who unknowingly had him wrapped around your little pinky. He was scared that the one person, the only woman he was willing to give his cold heart to, wouldn’t want anything to do with him after admitting it. So, like the cowards before him, he denied it and did the same to anyone who pointed it out.
“Sure you don’t.” Jungkook shrugged letting Taehyung lie for the time being. It wasn’t his part to call him out. Hell, he had his own problems in that department to worry about. “So what now? What are we going to do about this?”
“About what?” The two finally emerged from the dense forest to the streets of their small town.
            “About putting someone in charge.”
“I’m assuming with how things have been going lately, Jimin will assume the role. If I took it, Seokjin might not live to see another day. “
“And that would be bad?” Jungkook asked. Not many of them found themselves growing fond of Seokjin like Jimin did. Obviously, he saw something in him that the others didn’t.
“Not for some of us.” Taehyung admitted though it was pretty apparent that Taehyung couldn’t care less as to what happened to Seokjin, not after that night.
“I don’t think anyone will disagree with your decision with removing Seokjin anyways.”
Taehyung shrugged, hopping the fence behind the abandon schoolyard as Jungkook ducked under. “If they have a problem, then I guess they’ll have a problem with me and if that happens, I’ll settle it.”
Jungkook had to admit, Taehyung could have been going overboard, but then again, he would do exactly the same thing.
Buttoning up the shirt that belonged to Taehyung, you crawled under the blankets and sprawled out. You had never been so happy to see your bed as you were right now. Beginning to drift off, his presence jolted you awake. Lifting a tired lid, you spotted him hovering in the darkness.
“Don’t you ever knock anymore?” You groaned quietly as you shuffled beneath the soft, white comforter. His lopsided smile was enough to convince you that you were no longer entitled to privacy with him around. Shaking his head, knocking around the silky locks of his brown hair, Taehyung pulled off his t-shirt, before peeling out of his leather pants and slipping into the bed with you. Crawling over you, he leaned in on his elbows, his fingers slightly sweeping your soft hair from your forehead.
“You know we’re past the formalities.” He spoke softly, his perfect lips soon caressed by the gentle slip of his tongue. You smiled only to look at him from beneath hooded eyes.
“Are we? The last time I checked we still weren’t a couple, therefore all formalities should be well intact.”
His disapproving, suppressed growl only made you gitty. Slinking your arms over his shoulders, your fingers combed into his hair at the nape of his neck causing him to shutter slightly before gripping the sheets on either side of you.
“I don’t think you understand what you do to me.” His raspy voice purred against your earlobe as he dragged himself against your frame. A shivering breath renders you speechless, feeling his hard body against yours as your nails dug softly into his flesh. Drawing in a slight hissing breath, Taehyung’s soft onyx eyes swirled with an intense crimson that you knew all too well.
“I’m well aware of what I do to you…why do you think I do it?” Your playful little pokes at him were driving him closer to wanting you. Rolling to his side, Taehyung denied you the soft covers that kept you hidden from his hungry eyes. Slowly caressing her elongated neck, his hand grabbed the fabric of the button up shirt around the collar. Pulling it down your shoulder, he leaned in and kissed your soft flesh, slightly nipping at the exposed skin. Plucking the buttons free, he let the fabric spill into a pool beneath you. Your tiny, pink rosebuds perked under the thin lace bra, Snaking his hand further down your body, his hand cupped your breasts, squeezing it into a mound before nipping at the peak that was still hidden.
You closed your eyes as your toes curved to the sensation. His hand continued to caress your body in ways you never felt before. Something was different this time. Sure, Taehyung had touched you like this many times, but this moment everything went beyond a level of want. It was more of a need now than anything and even that couldn’t explain the feeling you had.
“I don’t want to be your sire anymore.” Taehyung spoke, gently raking his hand down your ribs. Before slipping his fingers into the waistband of your panties and rubbing your hipbone beneath.
“Wha….” You weren’t quite sure you were hearing him correctly before he shushed you.
“I want to be more than just that.” He admitted. You could literally hear your heart speed up as another shivering breath escaped your soft lips. “I want to spend my eternity with you…in the century that I’ve spent in this absolute darkness, there is no one who has shown me light…until you.” Your eyes raked over him as he stared at you. “I couldn’t take your life…knowing mine would also end if you were gone. I’ve…loved you for so long. I just couldn’t admit that to myself. I couldn’t admit that you…a mortal woman at the time had rendered me powerless just by being in your presences. And now that I know what my life is with you…I don’t want to go without you.” If you weren’t under some kind of trance in that moment, you might have pointed out how cheesy he sounded since it was just your way of knocking him down a peg or two. He was the one who now had you wrapped around his pinky at the moment. His sensual touches and lingering kisses across your neck and chest were doing what he had accused you of, rendering you powerless.
You knew what he was asking without even having to say it. That was the beauty of reading each other's minds or a drastic downfall, however, you wanted to look at it.
“You don’t have to go without me, Tae.” You assured him, your trembling hand pressed against his cheek, stroking his cool skin. No matter how many times you denied him, you knew you were lying to yourself. You found yourself in awe around him but at the same time, wanting to condemn him for what he did to you even though it wasn’t his fault. “ As much as you want me…I want you.”
Admitting to him was all he needed. Rolling over you again, his knee spread your legs making room for him the settle in between. Dipping down, his moist lips suckled along your collarbone, nipping and dragging his tongue across your soft, salty skin.
His hips circled against yours leaving you moaning, crying out for more as your slender legs wrapped around him, anchoring yourself against him. He hid his smile against your flesh as he circled his hips once more, allowing his groan to rumble against your earlobe.
“You’re mine, Y/N and I am yours.” His hoarse voice commanded as he slipped the straps of your bra down your silky shoulders. Acknowledging with the slight nod of your head, your trembling lips captured his in a rough kiss, each fighting for dominance. He clearly claimed victory as he pinned you to the bed with forceful hands. Twisting his tongue against yours, he readily moved his hips more aggressively, eager to claim you as his own. Tracing his hands down the sides of your body, his fingers slipped into the waist of your panties once again. Not to waste another moment of his time, Taehyung shredded the barrier at her hips and threw them aside. Quickly shimmying from his boxers and kicking them to a pile on the floor, Taehyung slipped his arm under your hips, bringing you closer to him.
With one gentle movement, he pushed into your moist folds. Both gasping in unison as his shaft invaded you; Taehyung squeezed his lids as he buried his face into the crook of your neck. He was never one to take things slow, but at that moment it was all he could think about. Not wanting to hurt you, not after he had been working so hard to get you to trust him again. His hunger called to him, cooing, commanding he take what was rightfully his, let you know the beast that he was and had always been. To shake your body to the very core, denying you nothing and feeding each one of your darkest desires. The fire burned deep within him, fighting each urge that crept up on him, only to bury himself deeper in you. Piercing your core, you found yourself giving him more credit than you wanted to. Calling out his name each time he made you swell with ecstasy. Pulling at his hair when he nipped at your neck. Arching toward him, wanting more than what he was offering you. You couldn’t get enough as he continued to move through your wet cavern. His soothing moans slowly becoming groans and grunts as his inner beast beckoned, wanting a piece of the fledgling as well.
Taehyung’s mounding moans became hoarse as he continued to surge through you. You wrapped your legs around his bucking waist, keeping him deep within as his fangs scraped across your pulsing neck. Biting down, he tasted your sweet blood against his lips as his tongue lapped against your soft flesh. Pulling back he dipped down and kissed you, quickening his pace Taehyung letting you taste her crimson liquid from his lips. Your bodies grind together, his member penetrating your sensitive core as you suckled the last drop from his mouth. He knew you would want more. You would drink, you would have to. He made sure this was going to work. He had been waiting for a year for you to be his mate and he couldn’t wait much longer.
Your eyes burned in hues of ambers and scarlet. Your small fangs extended behind your parted lips. Taehyung longed for that kiss. That forbidden kiss that damned people to his world. He craved you as he slammed into your small hips, shifting the bed, knocking it against the wall. Your teeth scraped the skin on his shoulder, softly biting into his flesh. Taehyung winced with pleasure as you gently suckled his life force. He continued to his invasion as his body shook, feeling an eruption growing within. Their bodies glided together, igniting into a shattering climax. After millenniums of searching, Taehyung finally had his mate and nothing or no one was going to take what was rightfully his. He would kill anyone who dared to tread on his territory…friend or foe.

You don’t know how it happened, all you knew was that it happened and it was amazing. No matter how long it took or how far the distance, someday, somehow, you would find him again. A world beyond this, a place where you would be together once again.
If you had known how much Jung Hoseok meant to you, then maybe you would have done things differently. Maybe you wouldn’t have waited so long to get to know the beautiful soul that made him who he was. “But fate has it’s own sense of humor.” Hoseok often laughed fondly when recalling memories. Memories… that was all you had now to look back on. “Don’t be sad. I’ll always be with you. In the sun, in the moon. I will be the stars in your sky. I will never leave you.” You push back the tears knowing he wouldn’t like to see you cry. He was right though, he was your everything. He had always been, even with him gone you could still feel him everywhere.
-One Year Earlier-
You had it up to here with your friend, Park Jimin, he always meant well, but he never knew when enough was enough and apparently this was one of those days. He had been trying to work his magic on you for weeks. Talking up his friend Jung Hoseok to the point you were pretty sure Jimin actually had a thing for him.
“I said no, Jimin. I don’t care how nice he is or how cute he is…nothing. I’m not interested in dating anyone.” You brushed past him leaving him to chase after you.
“On come on, Y/N! What the hell do you have to lose? Just coffee, it’s not even a date.” He kept up with your fast trot down the busy sidewalk. He was persistent as hell. You stopped in your tracks as Jimin cut you off, holding his hands out in front of you. “Yeah? Just coffee. Not a date. I promise” He repeated. You huffed in defeat and stomped your foot. Jimin smiled triumphantly knowing that he won. He knew he would eventually break you, he always did.
“Fine! One coffee non-date!” You stressed that last part. “Set it up and after that, don’t try to set me up with any more of your friends!” You barreled pass him again as he was already jerking his phone from his back pocket to text his friend.
“You’re not going to regret it! You’ll love him!” You heard Jimin call out before you were out of earshot. You didn’t know how right Jimin was at that time, but now you couldn’t thank Jimin enough.
Setting up a casual meeting over coffee should have been easy for Jimin but he was always doing more than what was requested whether you liked it or not and this was no different. You had made yourself comfortable wrapped in a soft blanket and were engrossed in one of your favorite books when the buzzing of your cell phone pulled you from the middle of a paragraph. The text was from an unknown number and all you could read was
-Hello, fellow coffee enthusiast-
“That little shit!” You muttered the moment you realized Jimin gave your number to his friend, whom in your opinion, was a stranger! Looking at the screen go dark, you grimaced and put your book to the side to check your message.
-Hello, fellow coffee enthusiast. I’m Park Jimin’s friend Jung Hoseok. He thought it would be best if we planned our meeting ourselves. I hope you don’t mind me texting you. No rush in reply.-
Pulling out your Death Note journal you scribble Park Jimin’s name (not really) before determining what to say to this Jung Hoseok. Maybe you could turn him down? Perhaps he wasn’t persistent like Jimin…No, you couldn’t do that. Jimin had already told this guy you agreed.
-Oh! I wasn’t aware he gave you my number. But it’s fine (It totally wasn’t) Would you like to meet up today?-
You figured you would hurry up and get him out of your life quickly. Little did you know you would regret those words.
He seemed eager as he answered your text right away.
-That would be great.-
The two of you spent the next few minutes settling on a café and time. Looking at the clock that gave you about an hour to get ready and head to the café that was only about a 15-minute walk from your apartment. Which was good. You could dash your ass back if things took a turn for the worst, and then you could kick Jimin’s ass the following morning.
You didn’t want to get too dressed up to make him think it was more than what it was, but you also didn’t want to look like you just rolled out of bed. Especially if you turned up liking him. What were you thinking? Jimin’s setups were always a disaster. It was the dead of winter and that definitely ruled out skirts and dresses in your opinion so you settled on a nice sweater and jeans. A shower and bare makeup were your choices before you had to head out the door. Pulling your cat eared beanie down over your wet head, you make your way to the little coffee shop that sat in the center of town. The closer you got the more jittery you became. Date or not you were always nervous meeting someone for the first time. You weren’t sure how you had any friends at this point, but you were sure you were losing one after this. (Jimin~)
It was then when it hit you. You had no clue what this guy looked like. You weren’t shallow, but if there was no attraction you weren’t going to try. You figured that he would be inside waiting for you by the time you arrived. You were a little late. Maybe about five minutes or so but at least you made it, that’s when you see a young man standing outside looking around from woman to woman who passed his way. You could only assume it was him. His dark hair hung against his porcelain face, blowing softly against the wind that sent a chill through the air. With his delicate hands shoved in his pockets and teeth chattering, you couldn’t help the ping of guilt that hit you for making him wait.
“Jung Hoseok?” His tall lean frame turned and you were greeted with an undying bright smile.
“Y/N?” The sound of relief flooded his voice to finally see you. “I thought I got stood up.” He looked at his watch to check the time. You could only make a face and apologize. He assured you that it was okay and he followed you inside to escape the fringed cold. He insisted that he pay for whatever you ordered even if it weren’t a date. Still, you refused, you were happy enough to pay for your own drink and god only knew how many refills you would need.
“I’m not much on coffee.“ He admitted staring up at the menu with a deeply confused look on his face as the line progressively grew longer the further you two debated on what to get.
“Me either.” You giggled along with him. At least that was one thing you guys had in common. You suppose you weren’t a fellow coffee enthusiast after all nor was he it seemed.
“Hurry up already!” Barked a voice from the back of the line. It was only then when Hoseok turned to see the long line that had formed behind you.
“Oh!“ He laughed embarrassedly. “Ummmm I’ll have a hot cocoa.“ He told the barista as he pulled out his wallet from his back pocket.
“Me too.“ You chimed in. Hoseok could only laugh as it turned out neither one of you enjoyed coffee, but of course, Jimin and his persistence seem to get the better of both of you.
It turned out that you and Hoseok had a lot in common then just hating coffee and conversion came so easily between you as if you were old friends catching up and chatting over old times. You hadn’t even realized that the sun had set long ago behind the horizon. The moon crescent the night skies and the stars blanketed the darkness in a canvas of endless twinkling glow. You could have spent hours upon hours talking and laughing with him until a barista had the unfortunate task of telling you they were closing up for the night.
“Ah, that’s a shame,” Hoseok said, but his smile never wavered. The way his eyes crinkled when he smiled at you like that. You don’t know. There was something about it. It made your heart leap bounds, even though you hated to admit it. Here you were, just hours ago, thinking of how to get out of this and now you didn’t want the night to end. He checked his watch again and sighed. It wasn’t that late, but you grabbed your hot cocoa refill as he did the same and you headed out to be greeted by the cold once more together. “Aish~!” He shoved his free hand into his pocket as a cloud of breath floated into the air. “I know this isn’t a date or anything…but would you maybe want to get some dinner with me?” He was hopeful, you could tell that he was even a little embarrassed asking, afraid you might turn him down flat. He didn’t even have the courage to look you in the eye as he turned his attention to anything else. It was pretty cute, at least you thought so, as a smile tugged at your lips.
“Dinner sounds good. I could eat.” He smiled and looked at you once more.
“Yeah?” Your answer threw him off guard. He seemed surprised that you even said yes. What the hell did Jimin say about you? Maybe you didn’t want to know at this point. “I’m parked just over there.” He pointed to a small two door sports car across the street.
“You don’t live nearby?” You thought that you two had arranged to meet somewhere close for the both of you. It was only fair and he only laughed sheepishly, as he unlocked the doors and opened the passenger side for you.
“I live about forty minutes away but seriously it’s no big deal. It was worth it.” His grin caused you to smile and shake your head as you slipped in. Waiting for him gave you the opportunity to look around his car. It seemed he liked to keep things clean. Which was good. There wasn’t one piece of trash lingering inside the tight space. Looking at the console you saw what you thought was a bracelet. Not one of gold or of silver, but you quickly looked away when he hopped in beside you. His smile greeted you once again as he buckled in and turned up the heat the moment the engine purred to life. Again, the conversation took off as if it had never stopped. You soon learn of his obsession with the stars and beyond that. The way he viewed things marveled you.  Never have you quite heard someone look at things the way he did. He spoke poetry when he was truly passionate about something. The littlest things brought a sparkle to his eyes as if it were the first time he had seen something so wonderful. Or maybe it was just to remember everything in its own beauty one last time. You weren’t sure at the time, but now you knew.
The days grew longer despite the sun disappearing on you and Hoseok so quickly. And the days became weeks. A date here and a date there turned into a relationship and an ‘I told you so’ from Jimin. He was basically taking credit for everything. Which in some ways he was right to do so. If he didn’t pester you, you would have never met Hoseok. That was something that you would have regretted even if you never knew. Hoseok believed in fate, destiny, the aligning of the stars and heaven, you just saw it as luck.
“There is no such thing as luck. Everyone’s destiny is already mapped out. It’s either meant to happen or not.” He spoke adamantly as he looked up at the star littered sky. Nothing was better than watching Hoseok in his element. His passion rising above anything else. Even if it was something as simple as destiny and fate. You always let him win the conversation because you didn’t know. Perhaps he was right. How could anyone fight something that there was no absolute answer to? But you always question fate after that. How it was sweet. How it was bitter. Fate intertwining your lives for a passing moment only to become a memory the next. Who was fate to decide? Why did destiny pluck away the stars from Earth and hang them in the heavens? You’d never have your answer and it didn’t matter. No answer would ever comfort you.
“So you absolutely believe in fate? The stars…destiny?” You asked as you wrapped yourself in one of his hoodies and joined him. Both of you stared up into the endless heavens and he smiled, casually looking down at you.
“Don’t you?” It seemed naïve to him that you wouldn’t but he believed it for so long you supposed he thought everyone thought that way.
“I don’t know what I believe.” You honestly had no idea and you felt his arms wrap around you to keep you warm. “Aren’t you cold?” He had to be. Standing in twenty-degree weather in a t-shirt, sweats and slippers weren’t the idea apparel for the harsh chill in the air.
“Nah.” He simply answered as he pressed a kiss against your forehead to put your fears at rest, “Don’t worry about me.” Seeing him smile made everything seem like it was okay. That everything was right in the world. “Fate…” He explained as he swayed with you in his arms. “Has it’s own sense of humor. The way things work out, y‘know? It wasn’t luck that you finally agreed to meet me. It was destiny that brought that pesky Jimin in our lives.” He snorted as you laughed imagining Jimin crying out because the both of your were teasing him. “The way he had to consistently plead with you.”
You pulled back just far enough to see the small grin on his lips as his dark eyes cut down to you.
“That’s right, I know.” He grinned, pulling you back into his arms. “It wasn’t luck that you said yes. My star and your star…have always been together and will always be…I believe it.”  It might have sounded like complete nonsense to most, but to you, it was beautiful and there was no harm in believing something like that. Right? “Nothing…will ever keep me from you. No matter time or distance. I’m bound to you as you are to me.” He pressed another kiss to your forehead before his shivering form brought him back to his senses. “Okay let’s go in. I don’t want you catching cold.” He quickly ushered you inside as he followed behind. It might have only been weeks since the two of you became the cute couple that you were and others might have said you were moving way too fast but it was never fast when everything felt right. Or at least that’s what you convinced yourself.
Hoseok had fallen head over heels for you in the small amount of time and he knew it wasn’t fair. But he was allowed to be selfish this one time. Fate owed him while destiny continued to damn him at every turn. He didn’t want to make promises that he couldn’t keep. Especially not to you. He wanted to make every moment with you special. The little things even mattered…probably more than the big things. He wanted your memories to be filled with happiness. Because after all, he wanted your star to shine brightly for the both of you.
You couldn’t quite understand why he was looking at you the way he was. It made your cheeks flush in embarrassment, “What?” You laughed a little and he realized, with the same embarrassment, that he was staring.
“Oh! I was-” He laughed as he scratched the back of his head not really having some excuse lined up. “You’re just…” He kept stumbling over his words as he avoided eye contact again. You always found his shyness adorable. “You’re beautiful.” You watched him gnaw his bottom lip at his confession. “I can’t help but stare…Paint you in my memories…” His words seemed sad as hey trailed off but he still wore that smile he fooled the world and even you with. What could you possibly say to that? No one ever really called you beautiful. Sure you got the occasional hoot and holler from guys you had no intention dealing with. You would get the ‘You look nice today’ compliment from someone at work, but to hear the words beautiful coming from someone as beautiful as Hoseok, you didn’t quite believe him. He knew it when he looked over at you and you still seemed a little taken back.
Hoseok crossed the room and gathered you in his arms, pulling you to the sofa with him. “Are you okay, Y/N?” He brushed his long, cool fingers against your cheek, tilting his head closer to you. You just smiled and nodded your head. Cutting your eyes to met his gaze. The gaze you had seen from Hoseok so often without him noticing. He looked at you as if you were wonderment itself. The stars in his eyes were far greater than anything you have seen in the night sky.
“I’m better than okay.” You finally calmed his nerves with such a simple answer. Your fingers threaded their way through his hair only to watch his lids close over his dark eyes and the small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
“I could sit here with you, like this, forever.” He hummed as a small chuckle vibrated in his throat. You find yourself smiling too, watching him. It was how he wanted it. You were always remembering the little things, the everyday things in life that reminded you, that you cherished the most.
He often talked about death. You didn’t know why you just thought it was another one of his fascinations. Late at night, wrapped in each other’s warm embrace, staring in the twilight that hung over the skylights of his apartment.
“Do you believe when people leave the Earth that that’s the end? Do we descend to some higher ground?” He asked, tracing circles into your lower back, his gaze never escaping the night sky.
You thought for a moment before holding him tighter. “I don’t know. I guess everyone has their own opinion and what’s so wrong with letting people believe what makes them happiest?”
You hear the slight amusement in his tone. “That’s what I love about you.” He spoke soothingly. “That I’m starting to rub off on you.” You smack his arm playfully when he couldn’t contain his laughter. “No, I’m sorry.” He continued though he profusely apologized as you whacked him again. “I’m sorry, I’m kidding.” It didn‘t take him that long to calm you down as he began stroking your back again. “I love that you’re not one to force your opinions on someone. That their happiness is what truly matters no matter how ridiculous it sounds.”
“What’s the point of correcting anyone that you think is wrong just to get them to think the way I do? Or think the way anyone else does for that matter? In the end following your beliefs and heart is what makes a person most happy. Right?”
“Mhmm.” He found comfort in your words, shifting on the bed and looking down at you. It was again you found yourself wanting to disappear under the covers with the way that he was looking at you as if you the only woman on Earth. He chuckled again, watching you pull the covers up. “Are you ever going to stop being so adorable?” He tugged the blanket from your face and gently pressed his lips against your cheek. If being adorable earned you a kiss or two, then no, you were never going to stop. “You’ve made me incredibly happy these past few weeks.” He murmured pressing his forehead against yours, his dark eyes still closed as he took in a deep breath to calm his beating heart.
“You’ve made me happy too. Thank god for pesky friends, huh?” You coiled your arms around him as a smile broke across his face before looking back into your eyes once more.
You shared many nights like that. Wrapped up in the warm of each other’s arms, talking about anything and everything, sharing your fears, your dreams, your memories. Hoseok was such a pure soul. You could listen to him tell stories for hours, and you often did, well into the early morning hours right when the sky came to life with cotton candy clouds the sun coming over the horizon bringing in a new day, greedily stealing one from you.
“Let’s do something today!” Hoseok nudged you awake just before lunch. After another late night you would have thought that he would want more sleep too, but then again you’ve noticed he doesn’t sleep much anyways. Stretching your arms out as a tired yawn escaped your lips, you rubbed the sleep from your eyes to look at the time.
“What did you have in mind?” You throw your legs over the side of the bed to meet the cool touch of the hardwood floors beneath your feet. You watched his shoulders shrug as he slinked off to the kitchen, gathering a few things on the counter.
“I just feel like doing something. Remember, I have to go away tomorrow. I should only be gone a few days. So I wanna spend all day with you. We can do whatever you want.” Hoseok’s voice called out over the sound of him opening and closing cabinet doors. You frowned. The thought of being without Hoseok depressed you but it couldn’t be helped. You had asked him why he had to go and he assured you that it was work related so you didn’t want to ask him to drag you along even thought you were secretly hoping that he’d ask if you wanted to go, but he never did. Maybe he couldn’t. So you didn’t press him about it. You weren’t so hung up on him that you couldn’t find something to do in those few days. Perhaps you could hang out with Jimin. He had been complaining about not getting to see you that much anymore.
You could think about that later, right now finding something to do with Hoseok was more important. You could only shrug as your mind went completely blank. It was still pretty cold out so you couldn’t suggest some of your favorite activities like going to the beach, going to the park, camping. “What do you wanna do?” You shuffled to the kitchen to see what he was up to. You could hear him snicker before looking over his shoulder at you.
“Didn't I say I wanted to do whatever you wanted to do?” He grinned before turning his attention back to whatever it was he was doing before hand.
“Well, yeah, but we can’t exactly go to the beach or go camping… it’s too cold out.”
“Who said it’s too cold to go camping?” Hoseok stopped everything he was doing as he began stroking his chin in thought. “You want to go camping? Your wish is my command.” He clapped his hands before rubbing them together as he began mapping out a plan in his head. Or at least that’s what you assumed he was doing when he began running around the apartment like a madman. A few minutes later he came back with sheets, blankets, rope, pillows, Christmas lights and whatever else he thought would be useful. “You can just lay back and rest. Or better yet.” He dashed to his nightstand and came back digging through his wallet, “Take this and go to the store. Buy some chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers.” You still looked confused but you took the twenty anyways. Making your way down the street to the closest convenient store, Hoseok got to work on whatever surprise he had up his sleeve. He often did that, surprised you for no reason. Doing things on a whim. Little things that brightened up your day, even if he really wasn’t up to the task. Hoseok would do anything to bring a smile to your face. He would do anything if he knew it made you happy.
Thank so much to anyone who reads and likes this. This is my first story I’ve loaded on tumblr and I just don’t know if I will continue. I have two more parts planned out and if I get some interested I’ll continue to post. If you have any ideas for stories please don’t hesitate to ask. Once again thank you!
