What's your unpopular opinion about your favorite drivers?

it's not really a unpopular opinion in maxblr but among the haters.

max is probably one of the most well adjusted drivers on the grid. he's one of the most passionate athletes I've ever seen in this sport, lives and breathes racing, but he's a loving person that cares about others so much. the cancel culture around him for saying stupid things in the past is based on an americanised and puritanical way of viewing things and very selective because fan favourite drivers also hang around less than savory people and say very shitty stuff without ever apologising. he absolutely doesn't need saving and someone to teach him how to love as some fans view it, specially when they're in their rpf feelings. despite his rough upbringing he never lost the ability to show all the love and affection, he has and turned into a great person, and that "trauma" isn't remotely the most interesting thing about him.

in a world where nobody is perfect and no one should be put on a pedestal, specially rich men, he's a normal, nice and flawed human being from what I can gather from my limited point of view as a fan and I like him very much :)
