pls tell me abt ur ocs. they look like they have gay tension and im curious where thats coming from

short answer, they actually are a little gay for each other

long answer, the idea came from them both despising their factions and being writers... penn is from a very prosperous and wealthy family that didn't really care about him so as a child he basically spent all his time figuring out the hell that is the state of phighting factions. his dream is to move out and go to crossroads but his parents dissaprove and he's really paranoid about trying to run away. knives hates blackrock cause who wouldn't

actually about knives. their status as a blackrockian is kind of weird. they were born in blackrock and still obey the laws of the faction and stuff, but as a performer that's part of a larger group separate from factions, they're able to move around a lot more and permanently live outside of blackrock. the higher-ups see it as a publicity tactic so they just let knives do whatever as long as the faction's reputation doesn't tank. so essentially through exposure to other inphernals knives has kind of developed a bit of disdain for their original faction

knives and penn co-run this secret writer's society which i have not come up with a good name for yet. but it's basically a rebellion group disguised as a book club

i haven't actually decided if they're together or just have romantic tension and honestly idk if i'll ever figure that out lol. i just think that would be funny
