With a sigh Ben made his way towards his friend and with a sob he wrapped his arms around him. His hands grasped at his ripped clothes as he buried his face in the nape of his neck. "I thought I had lost you again." 

Jim looked at Ben as he started to a yell, a confused expression crept onto his face, what did he mean exactly? He was already dead, how could be be anymore dead to him? Nodding softly as he finally stood up and spoke to him again. “Y-yes.” He uttered softly his hands sinking into his pockets.

It's fine. Morph calmed me down afterwards so at least I didn't sleep out there. Don't. It's done already and we can't really change it, can we? I--- You didn't know. I can't blame you. I don't tell people when I get them, not really, it's embarrassing. [He shrugs] Okay, whatever you want. Rita, I'm not mad at you, okay? Stop apologizing. If there's someone who should apologize it's me, but I've already done that plenty of times and it doesn't really help.  

I didn’t know you were having an attack, when you told me to go, i didn’t know. If I had… i’d have stayed. Do you really think i’m that heartless to just walk away from you when you’re having an attack? *Pushes her hand through her hair* I just want us to try and be civil, i don’t really know how to clear the air with you other than to say I didn’t mean to upset you and i didn’t know you were having an attack and i’m sorry.

I am sorry for upsetting you, it wasn't my intention at all. I just wanted to tell you how I felt. At least you could have calmed me down, I know I asked you to leave but I had to sit there and go through that attack all by myself. [Bites at his lips] I don't want to fight either, but it's just hard. Then let's clear it. What do you want us to do? 

What and you didn’t upset me? The way you spoke to me you can’t blame me for asking that question, did I regret it as soon as I asked it? Yes I did, and am I sorry? Yes I am. *fiddles with her nails* Look Ben, I don’t want to fight with you, I just want to clear the air.

[Raises a brow] Really? That's all I get? You know, you really upset me. What you said, what you thought about me. it wasn't fair, how could you believe that about me? That I didn't want to be alone? *Nods softly* Well… they suit you.

[Freezes up but nods, fiddling with his fingers] I hate them, actually. But apparently I need to wear them.

[Ben was not proud over his latest choices but hopefully they had crushed him so badly that he would never do the same thing again] Of course it is, at least I can say that my mistakes helped me, that I grew from them. Not many people get to say that, which is really sad. [Snorts, rolling his eyes at him] Pffth! Right. My dysfunction brings all the boys to the yard. I'm lucky my cute face and twink-ass body makes up for it. [Pauses, quite taken back by his words as he tries to hide the way his cheeks flush] Oh man, you're making me feel like a fourteen year old school girl. If you had a best friend who was a zombie you would have done the same thing, it's instinct. I guess I love him too much to leave him all by himself. [Thinks for a moment, sighing] I'd love to have a cure, really. Dude, did you just make a Harry Potter reference? You did totally make a Harry Potter reference, sneaky bastard! [He shrugged, it had been a long time his dad left him alone in Disney. But somehow it still got to him, just slightly] He had his reasons. [Frowns] That is.. That is insane! You can't just force someone to love anyone like that, that's cheating. If you truly love someone, what they have done, their mistakes, opinions, they don't matter. Screw those people, that's what I say! You deserve better, someone you genuinely like.

That is true, you’re pretty stubborn like that. *Looks at him and laughs* Yes you are, you’re scared of ducks, oh my god, that’s great. *Nods* Alright, i’ll make up a batch and bring them over for you and Morph to share, okay? *Thinks about it* I dunno, some kids in a older class once told me about this video with a talking condom, that sounded pretty awesome. *Shakes her head softly* love isn’t that bad Ben, love can be pretty amazing. *Sits up and rubs her face* Sorry… *Nods softly and leans back and sighs* Yeah, i’m okay. I’m sorry I scared you.

I would have done it even if you hadn't given me permission, Ellen. [Ben scrunched up his face with a pout, his left eye twitching as he crossed his arms] No! No absolutely not! I'm not afraid of ducks, what are you talking about?! [Relaxes, sighing quietly] Ugh, now I want cookies. You should totally bake for me. I deserve it. [He patted her shoulder] There, there. At least sock puppets are better than a sex ed video. [Tilts his head and nods] I promise. Not that I think it will happen again soon, though. I'm kind of going asexual for a while. [Pouts] Love is not amazing! It's boring and it's sucks, the sex isn't even that great. [Ben slapped himself in the face, letting out a relived sigh] Jesus! You scared me to death, Helen. Wait here, okay? I'll get you some water. [He trailed off before disappearing into the kitchen, returning with a glass of water a few minutes later] Are you okay?

Alright, fine you can call me Ellen. *Looks at him and starts to laugh as he replies to her* Ben, do you have a fear of ducks? *Nods* Yeah, Violet and Dash’s mum she was great, she was actually who taught me how to bake cookies. *Nods* There were sock puppets and a very red faced fourteen year old me wishing the ground would swallow me up. *Looks at him* Promise me if anything like that happens again that you’ll come to me and Morph okay? *Shakes her head* Sorry, can’t do that love is amazing, sure it can hurt but it is still amazing. *Opens her eyes a few minutes later* Huh… w-what?

[Ben nodded] I know what you mean, I think I've done pretty bad choices, too as you might know. But at least we learn from them which is kinda important. [He smirked, rolling his eyes at him] You'll be fine. I mean, I'm nothing special really, I'm kinda dysfunctional. [Using his hand he gestured to his head, twirling his finger around in a circle to make his point] Oh please, I'm no hero. Jim is the hero. I would never leave him, I can't leave him even if I wanted to. [He paused] .. Wait, what did you say? A cure? As much as I want to believe there is, I really don't know. I hope there is. It's probably something stupid like unicorn blood. [He locked their pinkies together and smiled] Pinky promise. [Flails] Raining on your face! [Shurgs] It's nothing, really. I mean, when my dad left me I felt angry. I guess he couldn't stand me anymore, I get it actually. Morph's father sucks, but at least he didn't disappear when things went down. [Ben frown] Wait.. Your new family lied about who killed your family? That's... Why would they do that? How could they do that to you?

[Starts moving her limbs, moving her into the recovery position, on her her body supported by one leg and one arm.] Helen, God!

I mean, sometimes he forgets about me and he usually only grunts. I just want my best friend back, you know? It's like he's a shell of the boy I know. But you get used to it, even though I wished I could have him back. [He raised his hand towards the sky] Amen! We're all pretty fucked up, indeed. [With a raised a brow he wiggled out his pinky in front of him] You pinky promise? I can do that. [Ben shook his head] Nope! Sorry, we're not robots. Well, I'm no robot. I don't know about you. And of course you can cry! I cry all the time actually, pathetic I know. But it's kinda nice. Just pretend it's raining on your face. [He nodded] I see, you lost your whole family didn't you? So did I. But at least I had Morph and Jim and Morph's father.
