So on the Gravity Falls Reddit AMA hosted by “Bill Cipher” a few fan questions were answered. One question in particular caught my eye and the answer left only more questions.

Okay yes to everything above HOWEVER, if someone does slip up on words or terms like calling their platonic female friends their "girlfriends" you have to explain calmly!! Don't just flip a fucking lid and start accusing them of being shitty heathens sent from the devil himself to ruin your day! For a lot of us, English isn't our first language and we literally just translate word for word sometimes! So if I call someone my girlfriend you can just say, "Hey, I know that in some languages you use the term girlfriend for any female friend, romantic or platonic, but in English it means a woman that you are romantically or /and sexually invested in." I get so angry when I see people being rude to people who aren't fucking native English speakers! Like come on man, I've been in the states for over a decade and sometimes I slip up but I always try to catch myself or properly explain if I need to! Just don't be a fucking dick to people who don't know, educate them calmly and in a nice manner and I'm sure they will correct themselves. And if they don't then pour some fucking water on their dickish faces and walk the fuck away! Like bye bitch!

I like this thing alot ok, like picture obnoxious anime/goth nerd 12 year old Robbie hating Dipper because Wendy has this huge crush on him and Dipper dislikes Robbie because he is an annoying little shit who picks on Soos and tries to shoplift every now and then from the gift shop.

Pacifica, who through many years of hanging around the twins who call her out on any asshole behavior, is a little more well behaved but when provoked becomes the living embodiment of Brittnay Matthews.

Wendy, who is the cool kid, losing her cool every time her crush is around and like fumbles and shit with her words and becomes accident prone.

And Dipper and Mabel who have to deal with the mysteries of the town, two kids who have gotten their hands on a mysterious journal, Bill Cipher, and the looming presence of the adult world and college.
