I thought your blog looked cool. Then I saw you had a Dark Souls 2 verse. Now, I think it is AWESOME. (No joke, DS2 is my favorite Souls game! :D Nice to see that you have a verse for it!)

Oh thank you!  I can’t possibly pick a favorite but DS2 was my introduction to souls & it makes me feel a special kind of way that the other ones don’t accomplish remotely.  It’s sad to see it talked about like “the game everyone thinks is the worst one.”  Btw I’m way more active on my Bloodborne/fandomless blog @cosmicuncanny !

Mail Mutts are an open species. The only rule is to give credit where appropriate. Commercial use with credit is allowed. If you have a mail mutt character, feel free to fit them into your original worldbuilding and use as much or as little of the ‘official’ lore as you like, the goal is to provide inspiration. ok story time _____________________

Overview The creatures we call mail mutts are dogs with glowing clocks for faces, used by the __ (I cannot write it) to independently carry mail from settlement to settlement. They have lanterns hanging under the clocks, which glow the same color - my drawing should give a good idea of the configuration. Not a lot is known about them, but I always feel a sense of peace when I see them in the Weird Wood, as rare as that is. Whatever one can say about their masters, it’s clear that these industrious animals simply take joy in a job well done. Last winter, a family rescued an injured mail mutt and kept it a few days to restore its health before setting it free to resume its duty. They were gracious enough to let me observe it. These notes come from that encounter, as well as general knowledge from past sightings by myself and others.

i’m at the bookstore and i just met a very serious eight-year-old boy in a tiny tweed suit and a light pink button-down shirt who asked me to help him find:

-crime and punishment

-eugene onegin

-a hero of our time

-the call of cthulu

-end of watch by stephen king

also met his very tired mother, who was wearing a purple fleece jacket. the little boy exasperatedly corrected her on her pronunciation of “onegin.” i promise you i am not making up one word of this.

uh, so if you’re like me you probably think too much about background elements in games at times, and whatever that crowd in Castle Town is going crazy over is one of them

so I zoomed in on them by using a setting on the Dolphin emulator

and it’s just this terrifying floating cylinder head man thing on a shelf

and the crowd isn’t that much better on the senses at all

the two people at the end are just hair. albeit stylish.

that’s the end of my mystery solving show. I’m gonna go try to sleep. I’m not going to sleep well. thank you for paying attention to me.
