Do u have any advice on how to remain confident and believe in yourself while you're waiting/looking on what to do next in life? I have faith in God but also have anxiety, so that does hurt my confidence/selfesteem. I switch between comfort knowing that I continuously pray/have faith in God but also some personal issues with my self confidence and abilities that make me so anxious and depressed. What if its not meant for me/Im incapable and have to settle for something less than what I wanted?
i honestly don’t focus on having confidence in myself. my confidence is in God. i know that there are a lot of things i’m not qualified to do. but when He wants me to do something, He provides opportunities for me to either gain the skills or discover skills i didn’t think i had. i’m not a person who just walks around thinking i’m great. i appreciate myself, my hard work, and i want me to be happy and feel full. but i root my confidence in God. because there are times when my self esteem goes up and down, but work still has to be done. rooting myself in Him, not just my own sense of self, helps me to do what i have to do.

I have been busy crafting with yarn! I just forget to share photos of my finished projects. Its been a busy two months. ^_^ I recently made this hat for my daughter’s birthday. She loves Unicorn colors, so I thought this color combo was perfect. I used Bernat Pop! in the colorway ‘Snow Queen’.

Creating Bulky Yarn from One Light Weight Skein
Sharing this for several reasons:
a) It’s actually useful
b) So I can find it later when I need it, and don’t want to do a whole lot of Youtube searching for it.

My student submitted the most disturbing “Living History” project I’ve ever seen
By reddit user gretelcat
One of my least favorite parts about being a middle school history teacher is the bullshit “Living History” assignments we give at the end of every school year. Kids are supposed to sit with their grandparents and video tape, voice record, or transcribe their oldest memories for posterity (and for an easy way to bring up their GPA).
