           “ i wish you safe travels, persephone. “ he chuckles, pulling her into his arms and gently ruffling her hair. he’s seen mortal fathers do this to their children. a sign of . . . HUMANS WERE SO WEIRD. the scrutinizing gaze morphs slowly && fluidly into one of barely sustained INSULT. ju-long ?? HIM ?? not being able to handle his liqour. well then. “ it’s decided, “ he huffs, before pulling out his wallet from his pants pocket && taking out a huge wad of bills. “ i’m buying EVERYTHING. “ he’ll show you just how capable his liver is. 

        takes off his shirt. Is talking without shirts common place? He’s quiet at first, the captain merely offering a shrug of his shoulders in reply. “It depends on if you intend to drink it all today or if it is to be rationed. I would advise against it though. Your liver is not capable of handling copious amounts of what you call ‘liquor’.”
