“Damn,” Jounouchi said with a low whistle. “Nine a.m. on the dot. You really don’t fuck around.” He cocked his head, grin skewed. “So how’d it go? Was I right?” Kaiba blinked at him. The words didn’t land. His stomach pitched cold. Jounouchi’s face was familiar—of course it was—but the question, the why of it, slid away from him. What was he supposed to answer? What had he been right about? His mind reached, slipped, skidded. Panic flared hard and sharp in his chest. He didn’t know. He didn’t know. He stared at Jounouchi, pulse hammering. “Kaiba?” Jounouchi’s brow furrowed. He leaned closer, voice shifting, uneasy now. “Kaiba, your nose…” Kaiba lifted his hand and felt it—wet. His fingertips came away smeared red. Pomegrante? “The fuck—” Jounouchi started, but didn’t finish. The room tilted, a vertigo that dragged Kaiba sideways. The instruments beeped wild, the doctors shouting, hands gripping his shoulders. His vision smeared into a wash of white and red, then black. Kaiba’s body gave out, and he fell into nothing.

Originally I worked on a longer Comic to this story but wasn't able to finish it. I´ll put it up some other time.

Story: Jou forgot his keys for the Kaiba Villa and tried to get in by jumping over the fence. But as it is Kaibas Villa, he installed a special surprise for intruders and so Jou finds himself accidently in Death T 2.0. 💀

First time sharing a secret.

The idea was that Seto is telling Jou about his past. I originally wanted to ad something in the background above them to show what they are talking about but my iPad started acting up halfway through the drawing and I was just relieved to get it done in time. So I guess now what kind of secret Seto is actually sharing with Jou is up for interpretation.

It felt like the right time, so Kaiba leaned closer to Jounouchi, and brought him into a kiss. This time, Jounouchi reciprocated.

Jounouchi's heart sped up upon seeing Kaiba, before internally scolding himself to get a grip. He was acting like one of his boyfriend's lovestruck teenage fangirls, ready to swoon at the flutter of the man's stupidly long eyelashes or a flash of his sapphire eyes.

Yeah... He was getting way too carried away.

As he rounded the table to take his seat, he placed one hand on Kaiba's shoulder and squeezed it in a greeting. Kaiba caught his wrist before he withdrew, though, returning the gesture in kind.

Jounouchi spent the rest of dinner absently rubbing the warm spot where Kaiba's thumb dug into the underside of his wrist.

He longed to close the distance between them. But they were out in public, even if it was in a private room.

Later. Later, he told himself. He could touch Kaiba to his heart's content later.

The meal came and went in comfortable conversation. The food was delicious. No doubt, the kitchen pulled out all the stops for the Kaiba Seto. Kaiba insisted on paying, and Jounouchi knew better to argue over something as trivial as one mid-range meal. They lingered afterward. Jounouchi worked through his dessert, Kaiba sipped at his coffee, and their feet bumped under the table.

It was like many a date night.

Except for the part where Kaiba cleared his throat and pulled a gift from his jacket pocket.
