theres a specific type of electro-industrial song esp from the late 80s / 90s where the vocals r way back in the mix & processed to sound robotic & whispery / snarly and there’s a sample of like . some vaguely edgy quote from a movie that youll watch years later & connect back to the song . & the beat is consistent & the synths r kind of monotonous & u can probably dance to it but u can also fall asleep to it . & i eat it up (almost) every time . #myslop
