As the year comes to an end I am feverishly working toward the goal I set for myself a few months ago: to finish my first ever rough draft before the year is up. I am incredibly excited. And while I do love my story, I find myself less inspired to write because of the story itself and more motivated to finish for the sake of finishing. I have been writing on stories for as long as I can remember but it wasn't until January of last year that I decided to rediscover my passion for it. I was distracted by school and what I thought was my dream come true: a career in film. Now I know that writing is the thing I was meant to do. And if it brings me into other life paths then I will embrace it but as long as I have that, I am happy :)
