An extract from my new Gendrya story

Beautiful Gendrya people, I'm leaving this little piece of my next story here to hold myself accountable and actually finish it.

Over half of it is already done and this one will have some action, hiding and running around between the cute parts.

“No way!” Arya exclaimed, turning to run upstairs.

“No, wait. Please, please wait.” Despite what her rational brain was telling her, the urgency in the man’s voice made Arya stop.

She looked back, the man was approaching with his hands up.

“Stop right there!” Arya yelled, holding the fire poker in front of her.

The man stopped at once, still with his hands up.

“Who the fuck are you and what are you doing in my house? You have 5 seconds.”

“I’m Gendry and my friend here is Podrick.”

The man pointed to the electricity thing. A ‘Hello’ came out of it.

“What?” Arya asked more to herself.

“You can see him if you move to the front.”

The Gendry guy had said that as if he was pointing out a bird on a tree and again, despite her brain saying ‘Leave!’ and how ridiculous this man sounded, Arya heard herself saying, “Back, all the way to the wall.”

The Gendry guy obeyed without complaining. Arya then walked to the front of the basement, still holding the fire poker with conviction. The shock of what she was seeing made her lean on the table behind her.

A second man was right in front of her and behind him, there was a place that was definitely not her basement.
