I think people vastly underestimate Riley. I really loved her at first, she was such a ray of sunshine, showing wonder for everything around her (when I found what she went trough, it made me respect her more, that she could still feel wonder after her trauma)Also,she provided emotional support to other characters(i.e Sun and Capheus) and that is just as(if not more) important than physical support. Also she got Will and herself away,found a way out and a bunch of heavy sedatives by herself.

I know it’s sometimes discouraging to see younger artists with amazing art but age has nothing to do with art. Keep doing your own thing! Everyone has their own pace.

Before you whine how much your art sucks, think about the amount of time and effort your put in your art and times it by x300
