"You just can't keep a good woman down. But as for how I managed to swing this beautiful reappearing act, a girl can't give away all her secrets, now can she?" Casey remarked with her usual grin of amusement plus depravity, flashing him a glance that said, 'I think you're cute, so I'm not going to try anything but you sure as hell not better fuck me over.' She kicked at the decrepit bodies that lay at their feet, making sure that one wasn't going to jump up at them and start the battle all over again. If demons had been able to succumb to headaches, she certainly would have had one.
"As for my opinion of you, you were the one who didn't have any respect for little ole' me back when we first met. So I'd say, the feeling is mutual." Her tongue rolled off the wisecracks, but she conveniently ignored his statement about having been reluctant to get her hands dirty. Dean knew nothing of her past; in fact, no one did with the exception of Lucifer. Casey definitely wanted to keep it that way. Her life as a human showed weakness, and if there was anything that she wasn't, it was weak. She'd adapt to the changes that came from time and the situations that befell her, but she would never shed light on her past.
"Oh Dean! We have so much to catch up on." She exclaimed as she clasped her hands together in delight, as if she had just caught up with an old friend at a high school reunion. "There's your time in the pit, which frankly, I'm anxious to hear all about. I apologize that I wasn't there to give you the full tour, but the boss had other plans for me. But don't you worry about where my loyalties lie. I'm a one woman show now. Although...I could always make room for someone like you."
She cackled with laughter that rang through the trees, her crimson shaded mouth exposing her pearly whites that shimmered in the moonlight. "I'd offer you some hot cocoa, so we could reminisce and chit chat until dawn, but I haven't a stove or a microwave oven. However, there is a camp nearby. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that place, would you? I was planning to drop a fruit basket by as a welcome to the neighborhood, but well...Halo and sons really isn't interested in my peaches, no matter how ripe and juicy they might be."
A Not So Happy Reunion | Casey & Dean
i
Fighting with an injured shoulder fucking hurt! Dean had his left arm wrapped around his own torso, gripping the fabric of his jacket, to keep it as still as possible as he swung at the croats coming at him. But he’d been raised to fight despite pain, taught to ignore the physical hurt and hold onto his weapon anyway. His movements weren’t quite as smooth as they could have been but a little sloppy and he had to use his whole body for momentum as he swung the blade. Luckily, the croats weren’t the most skilled of fighters either so Dean held his ground fairly well.
He could still see Casey out of the corner of his eye and she appeared to be standing a short distance away, just watching. Dean grit his teeth. Fucking Demons!
As he finished the croat that was currently trying to claw his eyes out, she started talking and walked closer to him. Dean watched her, breathing slightly labored and he forced himself to straighten up despite the pain in his shoulder that made him want to hunch and just cradle the arm against his chest.
“Well you don’t have very high opinions of me, do you? I always remember the ladies,” he told her, decidedly ignoring the way her eyes raked over him for now. He was about to say something else when another croat suddenly appeared from behind a tree and ran towards him.
Dean didn’t have time to get the machete up but luckily he didn’t have to because Casey stepped forward and gripped the creature around its neck, snapping it like a twig. It slumped to the ground and Dean stared at it for a few moments before looking up at her again.
“Thanks,” he said, but she was busy cursing at the croat that had begun to move again, apparently not quite dead yet, so he wasn’t sure if she even heard him. When she commented on them being a good team, Dean couldn’t help but snort out a laugh.
“We do? Hell, I was just about to say it’s damned lucky I’m a good fighter since you seemed to be a little reluctant to get your hands dirty just now when I took out these,” he said and pointed to the bodies around them with the tip of his machete.
Shifting a little in the spot, Dean wasn’t certain what would happen now. He didn’t have the Colt with him, having chosen to leave it behind with Sam and the baby, and his salt and holy water were back in the car. The machete was all he currently had to defend himself with and unless he could manage to cut her legs off it would do very little to help him get away. So Dean really hoped she wasn’t planning on attacking.
“Gotta say, I’m a little surprised to see you back up here. How’d you manage to swing that?”

"Angel? I think you might need those pretty eyes of yours checked, sweet cheeks." Casey chuckled at the statement, biting down on her lower lip in order to stifle the roar of laughter that was on the tip of her tongue. "What I am is not of importance. Why don't you just call me...your new best friend."
Sookie almost let out a sigh but stopped herself. “So everyone seems to say,” she said, still pinning up her smile. Even when this woman figured she wasn’t human, the smile stuck. “I, um…I’m not completely human, no. No human would notice that either. What are you - vampire? Maybe an angel?”

"Sookie, well isn't that an interesting name?" Casey replied as she eyed her acquaintance up and down, curious to learn what made her tick. "My instincts might be somewhat rusty, but you're not human are you? At least not...entirely." She smirked before giving her the once over one last time.
“It’s nice to meet you, Casey. I’m Sookie.” The faerie grinned to her kindly.

"Cas, huh? What is that short for, Casanova?" Casey smirked in her usual flirtatious manner, walking towards him curiously as she cocked her head to the side on order to get a better look at her new-found acquaintance. "Perhaps, destiny has brought me here." She went on, replying to his query of where she had come from. "I mean, the place is usually swarming with Croats, yet here we are; just you and me. Tell me, Cas...do you believe in fate?"
She stood firmly in stance, her sleek figure silhouetted by the moon as her eyes glimmered at the ragged man in front of her. Who was he and why was he all alone? Had he been an activist for good or evil during the war, or had he been like her and just watched as each casualty fell?
"So, just where are you headed, Cas?" Casey asked, eager to push her way into his plans whether he wanted her there or not. Truth be told, she was tired of fending off the Croats and even more tired of being on her lonesome. Finding someone to charm, or better yet, weave into a web of no return would be a dream come true.
"Mind if I tag along?" She inquired, flashing a smile of innocent that she hadn't possessed since her days as a human. "It can get dangerous out here for a lady and I could use a big strong man like you to protect me."
Welcome to the Jungle | Casey and Castiel
Cold, dark, and damp, Three things Cas had grown accustomed to but certainly didn’t enjoy. He cringed, annoyed as his boots sunk into the muck along the side of the road. How long had he been down this road, searching for a sign of civilization? Days? A week? It seemed like ages ago that his band of not so merry refugees had been attacked on this very same road, two of them just barely making it out alive, then one. And although the farther he walked the fewer Croats he saw along the road that didn’t mean he was out of danger.
“HOLY SHIT!” Cas exclaimed, jumping back a couple of feet and drawing his only weapon left to him, a silver knife, at the voice. Standing, ready to take on who or whatever was out there in the darkness his widened blue eyes darted around the darkness but only found her outline once she had begun to move into the light.
” I could say the same thing to you and your come-hither-self. monsters are everywhere these  days” he replied with a distrusting smirk, and lowering his knife a little. Now that he could see her more clearly, she didn’t look to be a threat with her Jet black hair, full lips, and slender but curvy figure. But there was no chance he was going to just put his knife away because she merely looked human. Cas knew all to well there were things out here that could imitate them all the same, that on top of the fact she seems far too comfortable out here raised a red flag.
“My name’s Cas, Miss Anytime.” He said after thinking it over for a second. His cobalt eyes fixed on hers, serious now, his smirk gone. “Where might you have come from looking so lovely in the moonlight?”

The ebony eyed demon leaned back against a tree and kept her arms crossed around her chest, grinning with amusement as she watched the hunter slice and dice at each Croat the came his way. She had never seen him in action before, and although she would never admit it in so many words; she was quite impressed. The majority of hunters she had met liked to think they were tough, but truth be told; they couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag. But Dean? He had skills.
She turned a little and wiped the ooze and blood from her hands and onto the tree bark, still watching him from the corner of her eye. He seemed to have it all under control, so she resumed her previous position; blowing on her nails as she admired the way he moved and took charge of the situation around them. She couldn't help but ask herself if he'd always been this adept or if something had forced it out of him. Perhaps Hell? Or maybe even the Apocalypse. He certainly seemed  to have come a long way from the wise cracking boy that she had met; the one who didn't know Latin from a fucking restaurant menu. There was so much that every part of her yearned to know; and she would have if his idiotic brother hadn't been so damn trigger happy.
As the Croats he'd been dueling with dropped like a bad habit, her eyes shifted back upwards as she noticed him finally getting a good look at her.
"Casey."
Once her name fell from his lips, her eyes began to dazzle; tiny specks of gratification swirling around her pupils.  "Aww, Dean, you remembered." She exhaled with a smirk, stepping forward to gaze him over more shamelessly. "And you didn't even get past first base. I'm flattered."
She was about to reply to his statement about 'dropping the act,' but one of the remaining Croats lunged at him. Rushing behind the enemy, Casey wrapped both hands around it's throat and jerked the head around; cracking it's neck. As soon as she had done so, an image from the past blazed into her head; that of another being that she had killed with the same swift movement. It was Richie, one of Dean's former friends and colleagues. "Oops." She said to herself as she pushed the memory aside just as quickly as it had come. "It's not like it was family or anything."
"What the fuck are these things, jumbo sized Chucky dolls? They keep coming back!" She snarled as the creature she thought she had just killed attempted to lead forward once again. She twisted the neck one more time before the body tumbled to the ground with a thud. Finally, they were free. At least, with that bunch.
"We make a good team." She grinned, rubbing her heads together as she stepped over the body and further towards her old acquaintance.  She was certainly taking her chances in being so bold, but her instincts told her that he wasn't about to take her out. Not quite yet, anyhow. "We should work together again sometime. Maybe even under different circumstances."
A Not So Happy Reunion | Casey & Dean
Dean gripped the machete tighter as two of the remaining croats turned to look at him. That was the disadvantage of shooting someone. While it was mostly clean and allowed you to keep a safe distance from the croat, it was also really loud and the noise almost always attracted unwanted attention, like the two pair of eyes that were currently glaring daggers at him.
As the first one ran forward, Dean swung his good arm and cut its throat open, almsost severing the head. The blood splattered and dean turned his face away to avoid it as much as possible. He felt some of it hit his neck and cheek, despite the effort, and as his face was turned the other croat decided to seize the moment and attack. It was barely that Dean had time to turn back around and bury the blade deep in the creatures stomach.
The second body fell to the ground and when no more came, Dean had the opportunity to look back towards the girl she was supposed to be helping. She seemed to have managed quite well with keeoing the things away from her. Dean had seen her fight in his peripheral vision. However, this was the first time he got to see her face and his eyes widened a little in surprise as he realized that she it wasn’t an entirely unfamiliar one. The hot bartender who’d turne out to be a Demon. Casey.
They had met before, both of them caved in a long time ago, in Casey’s basement. That meeting had stuck with him a long time after it happened, her words having painted a whole new shade of gray that he hadn’t even thought about before. Sam had shot her but she must’ve made it out again somehow because here she was, standing in front of Dean.
“Casey.” Seeing as none of the croats were currently advancing, Dean took the time to adress her too. He shrugged.
“I was planning on it, but suddenly I’m not sure who the big bad really is here. You mind dropping the act and help me out with these instead?” he asked with an eyebrow arched. Just the another one of the croats ran forward and Dean’s focus was drawn away from the demon to the more pressing matters here.

Welcome to the Jungle | Casey and Castiel
Mother night. It served as a time of reflection, even for demons like Casey. All the people she had killed, all the innocents she had tempted into sin; it all was coming full circle. There was no Heaven or Hell anymore, it had all obliterated into one behemothic pile of trash that they all had been thrown into; demons, angels and humans alike. It was every creature for themselves, with no one side presiding over the other anymore. There was no more right or wrong, no black or white. They had been left with only shades of grey; it was the survival of the fittest with everyone else getting thrown to the wayside.
Casey's coal shaded eyes darted from the light of the moon to the trees that seemed to be her only company. Luckily for her, the Croats weren't out in full force as they usually were. It was peaceful, almost too much so. And that was when things were at their most dangerous. You never knew what lurked beyond the corner, and Casey...well, she sensed that something lingered just beyond the path that she was about to cross; something that she'd never had the pleasure or displeasure of encountering before.
As her feet tiptoed across the trail, she could see him. His rumpled clothing and unshaven face; hell, he could have been the perfect new spokesperson for Gillette with that mound of facial hair. With her curiosity getting the better of her; Casey walked forward, stopping only when she saw his eyes. Something was amiss. He certainly wasn't human, but there was a peculiarity about him that she just couldn't put her finger on. What on earth was he? And why did he look so forlorn?
"Aww, did somebody lose their puppy?" Casey asked with a slight chuckle, curling her lips downward and into a pout as she batted her eyelashes solemnly. "Didn't Hansel and Gretel leave the bed crumbs out?" She continued, a mischievous smile forming as she stepped out from the shadows to make her presence known.
"You really shouldn't be out here alone, you know. The monsters will get ya!" She exclaimed, tilting her head back as she began to roar with laughter; her raven locks cascading down her back. "Oh, look at me, where are my manners? What do they call you, Scruffy? I'm Casey, but you can call me anytime."

"Haven't you had enough, you decrepit bastards?" Casey hissed at the ravenous Croats surrounding her; her right foot lunging forward to kick one right in the probably not so crowned jewels. It was at that moment that the echo of a gunshot blazed through her ears; one of her adversaries falling back and hitting the ground, leaving the others to turn away from Casey and see what their most pressing obstacle was. The demon, however, just stood there for a second in shock; huffing briskly as the wind picked up around her. It was getting colder.
"What on earth caused that shot?" She asked herself, her view being blocked by two of the Croats who were now ogling whatever was in front of them. Angels weren't skilled in the use of firearms, but in the chaotic world they were now living in; who knew? Surely though, no angel was about to assist a heavenly opponent; unless, they had other plans for her. Plans that even she didn't have the stomach to fathom.
Taking a deep breath before tilting her head to finally take in what might be her greatest challenge yet, Casey's eyes grew wide. But it was not with fear. In fact, it was just the opposite. Her blood colored lips curled into a grin as a light chuckle emerged from her throat. It had been years, but she'd know that face anywhere. There was definitely something more hardened in his eyes, but it was him nonetheless.
"Well, well, well. Looks like we have company boys." She smirked to the Croats that suddenly seemed completely indecisive as to who their primary enemy was. Luckily, demons had more brain power. Casey's dark eyes darted from the hunter's hazel hues to the machete that he had firmly in hand. The question was, would he drive the weapon into them all? She wasn't sure if he would remember her, but she certainly remembered him and every moment they had spent together in her basement before his oaf of a brother had shot her in cold blood.
"Dean Winchester, back from the pit and alive and kicking." She cooed as she crossed her arms across her chest, her foot tapping on the ground. "Here to rescue the damsel in distress?"
A Not So Happy Reunion | Casey & Dean
Dean thudded his head back against the seat of the car. Sweat was beading on his forehead and he grimaced in pain as he shifted his shoulder a little. He was fairly certain it had been dislocated, not entirely unfamiliar to the feeling of just that, and he’s carefully struggled out of his jacket and over shirt to use the latter to try and create a makeshift sling to keep his arm still until he could have someone take a look at it. Turned out that tying a knot with just one hand and your mouth was nowhere near as easy as Dean had hoped it would be and after way too many minutes of fighting with the damn thing, Dean was forced to admit defeat. Whatever knot he managed made the sling either too tight or too loose, and first thing he was gonna do when he came back was thank Sam for always helping him with this… well second thing, after getting the shoulder back where it was supposed to be. Maybe he could combine both.
As he wormed his way back into his shirt and jacket, cursing furiosly as each movement jarred his shoulder, Dean was completely unaware of the demon running through the woods. Then the sounds of screams made their way over to where his car was parked. He couldn’t quite hear the words inside the car but it sounded like “Get off me!”
Dean contemplated ignoring it, he wasn’t in ideal shape to be fighting right now, but the thought only lasted for a fraction of a second before he remembered that there was no ‘calling in sick’ on this job. Grabbing the gun from the passenger seat, glad that he already had the machete strapped to his belt and even gladder that it had been his left shoulder that got injured and not his right, Dean got out of the car and stopped for a moment to listen where the sounds were coming from before taking off in that direction.
Running was less than pleasant and Dean grit his teeth so hard he thought they would crack. Luckily, the person screaming wasn’t too far into the woods and Dean didn’t have to run for long before he came across the scene of a group of croats surrounding a girl Dean could only see the back of but that seemed to be occupied with pressing her thumbs into the eyes of one of the croats. The rest of the croats were creeping closer, all too busy looking at her to notice Dean’s arrival.
Dean swiftly raised his gun and fired, taking down one croat with each bullet in the clip before tossing the gun to the side to pull out the machete.

I wanted to apologize to those of you that I haven't talked with yet. I've been in the group for over a week, but my schedule has been a bit crazy with papers and midterms. However, my break begins on the 25th. Whoopee!!
Dean, and I, are working on getting Casey through the camp gates, (She wasn't about to take her chance with an Archangel! :p) so I hope to get roleplays going with you all soon. If you're interested in setting something up, please drop me a line. (Or feel free to just say hello. I'm always up for chit chat!) If you're not familiar with Supernatural's, "Sin City" episode, I can send you a short video of Casey's scenes. I promise you that she is interesting. :)
Lastly, thank you for your patience and for welcoming Cas with open arms. He's a friend of mine, (And is clearly awesome, as you can see!) so that means a lot. <3
