If Leo has a crush on Karai, will the turtles have love interests as well? Say, Raph and Mona Lisa, Donnie and Irma/Jhanna, or Mikey and Kala

Quite frankly, I'd like to see Raph and Mona Lisa :3

Raph and Mona will indeed be a couple in my story (later on that is).

Irma is a character but she’s already married and is 30 or 40-ish (for reference, Splinter is 45), so that’d be weird. Also Donnie isn’t interested in romance at all.

I haven’t decided if I want to give Mikey a romantic partner of any kind yet, though some people have suggested Angel. I’m still giving it some thought.

He’d have to grow up a lot to want a girlfriend though 🤣

I love your series so far! You’re doing an amazing job. Anyways I was wondering if Raph ever compares himself to The Shredder often maybe after a fit of rage. Or if anyone ever compares him to Shredder.

No. Raph and his brothers don’t know hardly anything about Shredder and what little they do know isn’t the type of stuff you could really compare yourself to, like “Leader of the Foot Clan,” “ex-best friend who tried to kill me and successfully killed my wife.” Not really the types of things you’d ever think “oh no! I’m turning into him!” over.

Splinter will talk to Leo a little bit about Shredder in the next chapter in the light of “learn the lessons he never learned” but not in a comparative way. You’ll see.

There will be an episode that’s a dream Donnie had (meant to be somewhat of a warning to him and his bros about Kraang technology, but also it’s a dream so it’s absolutely absurd) but I don’t think that’s really quite the same 😅

I mean I will have her talk about her past and her family and stuff but I don’t know what interest or plot relevant stuff I’d put in a flashback, so no, I don’t plan on doing a flashback.

You’ll get to see a flash back or two of Casey’s though since that is plot relevant.

Oh Indie! I just remembered seeing a comic where Leo gets poisoned! Are we gonna be seeing that as well ? And also I heard about Leo’s coma segment! Will we be seeing that too ?

Yep! Both of those will appear in the story!

Technically that second one will be in book two, but it’s very early book two, so it’s not too far out.

I recently switched some stuff around in the episode you’re talking about where Leo gets poisoned. The general premise is the same, but many of the details and interactions have been altered, or expanded upon.

Suffice to say, even if you read the short comic I posted a couple years ago, it’s gonna feel pretty new and interesting. I’ve upped the angst a bit too so hopefully you guys don’t mind 🤣

Hi! Good Morning or Afternoon! I have two silly questions. Will you ever do a episode where one of the turtles gets sick? And Will you ever do a crossover episode? Like in 2012?

Hello! At the time you asked this it was morning, it’s afternoon now though (I’m in the same time zone as New York, EST)

I actually am going to have an episode where they all get sick (which is coming up soon), but depending on what you’re defining as “sick” there’s also going to be a few where it’s just one of them.

I don’t plan on having a crossover episode in the story. But you guys are welcome to write your own and or make fanart of one if you’d like to!

I guess there’s a possibility that when they meet Renet, they may momentarily see other versions of themselves amidst their dimension hopping while Renet’s trying to get her dimension staff thing to work, but they won’t interact or really stop to say hi.

Soo...What kind of a role Bishop will have in your story??

He’s one of the head scientists at the EPF.

He’ll show up on a few occasions, most notably the arc that will serve as the finale to book two where in he captures Donnie to uh… “study” and his brothers have to save him.

I plan for him to show up a few times after that, but for much more minor roles as a convenient source of information about the Kraang and other aliens and stuff.

Generally his job description is to manage and over see investigations on stuff like aliens and other non-human entities, capture them (if possible), and then—as a scientist—study them to assess their threat to the United States (or potentially the world) and also figure out how they work and report this information to the military.

Typically the information he acquires is stuff like what their weaknesses are, what conditions they require to survive, what their temperaments are like, what the general make up of their bodies are like etc. The type of stuff that would be very useful for a military to know if they were faced with an alien invasion.

However, Bishop is…kinda crazy. Not as crazy as Agent 10, but he enjoys his job maybe a little too much and his temper doesn’t help with the overall happiness or wellbeing of his specimens.

He is human though by the way. He’s not a weird alien immortal person thing like 2003 Bishop. He can absolutely die and be killed horribly which he’s well aware of and after his first encounter with Donnie, the turtles and Splinter remind him of repeatedly in their following later interactions.

Hello there! I was wondering since we're currently on the topic of mutants with the pomeranchulas and all I was curious if you were Plaining on introducing more mutants in the future installments? Since to me it seems like you took a LOT of influence from the 2017 Tmnt which isn't a bad thing but now that makes me curious if you'll introduce some more mustants from that series such as Snake Weed or Spyder Bites and if not mutants maybe some more human characters such as Baxter stock man or the purple Dragons

Hm, I’ve contemplated it, but I haven’t decided on a firm answer yet.

TMNT 2012 has some pretty unique circumstances that caused SO many mutants to appear and I don’t think I’ll have something like that, so it’s probably safe to say, there probably won’t be more than 5 new mutants by the end of the series.

If I do end up adding more mutants, it’s not gonna be for awhile (like probably in the next book or further)

As for the characters you mentioned, I kinda planned for the Pomerantulas to be the “Spiderbytes” type enemy in my story, I don’t plan on a Snake Weed enemy.

There will be a Baxter Stockman and Purple Dragons though! We’ve actually already seen the Purple Dragons, though it’s a little tricky to see. They’re the thugs Casey was beating up in Chapter 4. They’ll make a bigger appearance later on though.

As for Stockman though, here’s what he looks like:

I made a post about him I little while ago (I think? Idk), but essentially he’s Bishop’s freaky intern. How he got an internship at a secret government agency is unknown.

He’s around college aged, probably getting a degree in biology or something like that. He’ll be a pretty minor character, I don’t think he’ll really appear in the story after the arc he’s introduced in.

I love Kenji and I hope nothing bad ever happens to him.

And I'm really worried now..... what if kenji finds out that Karai helped Leo when Shredder was, well.... Shredder, and he gets upset or something or what if SHREDDER finds out and does something and then Kenji's loyalty is split between shredder and Karai and than he doesn't choose Karai?????? I would be so sad

Uh…I…cannot guarantee that nothing bad will happen to Kenji. Sorry. (I can promise he’ll live, though! That’s something, right? 😀)

But don’t worry! I will say that Kenji will basically always take Karai’s side. As it says on his character file: “Though he is supposed to be loyal to Shredder first and Karai second, Kenji has found himself over the course of Karai’s life siding with her over Shredder increasingly often. Occasionally taking the heat for such treason but often lying both of their ways out of punishment.”

I still have to find one for Kenji, and it could be fun to pick one for the Kraang/Agent 10.

I think someone suggested Hoon Lee for Kenji which could fit, but I’ll have to listen to a bunch before I choose one. Let me know if you guys have some suggestions on actors you think would fit either character!

Also note that I chose these purely by voice. I tried my best to find clips where the actors are putting on the accent I’d want but I couldn’t get all of them right. I imagine Casey would have a thick Brooklyn accent similar to 2003 Casey, for instance, but I couldn’t find a voice clip of his actor doing that accent, so just try to imagine it if you can.

Yes. Shredder may be Karai’s adopted father, but in terms of emotional bond, he’s only her “father” legally.

Karai doesn’t consciously think of Kenji as her dad, but in terms of the respect she holds and the type of deep love she feels for him, he’s definitely the actual father figure in her life. I think Kenji would feel that way too. He would protect her and take care of her whether he was being paid or not.
