Someone was asking in a thread what kind of people could work for ICE right now.
I think it's a good time to remember that the image above are the people who put children into gas chambers.
When I was little, I asked what kind of person could work at a concentration camp.
The answer to both questions I think is "normal people who have accepted the dehumanization of another group of people."

Saw a mutual post that Laundry is the worst part of human existence, which got me thinking of how much worse I find Dishes compared to Laundry. So, let's have it out:

In Romeo and Juliet, Mercutio called Tybalt "Prince of Cats" because there was a book, popular at the time, with a cat prince named Tybalt in it. He was making a pop culture reference. Therefore, I move, that in a modern Romeo and Juliet retelling, Tybalt should be named Garfield.

This image shows a skull vinaigrette. A vinaigrette was used to hold a particularly strong smelling substance. The substance would be sniffed when walking through an area with a strong odor. The reason these were used was because the idea that disease was spread in foul air was prevalent. The idea was that smelling the strong substance would shock the body into action. The skull in this vinaigrette acted a reminder of death.

Another complaint we get is that when we plant trees, we only plant small trees which isn't equivalent to the ones we chop down. And it's like... the trees are small because they're younger. I promise if you go to the older parts of town you'll see that they do not stay small.

“Medieval peasants couldn’t handle my Spotify playlist” but could YOU handle a medieval bard relaying the epic of Beowulf over the course of an hour? Humble yourself.
