Stuck on some more hangster brain rot so what about model!Jake has been getting a lot of attention recently and while most of it is positive, some of it is negative and there has been a slight uptick in overzealous fans that demand more and more from him.

It eventually gets to be too much (mostly Javy says it's too much, Jake says he's fine ) when a fan breaks into his house and threatens Jake because he was seen getting close to a few people at a party.

Javy's idea is to hire private security, just for a while, till things settle down or the cops find the person who painted Jake's walls red.

Ex-SEAL!Bradley is both everything Jake assumed he'd be and absolutely nothing like how he expected.

Bradley is cheeky, bites back with snarky remarks when Jake toes the edge of being a brat. Their interactions send fire into his core and Jake can't help but want to burn in it.

The stalker isn't caught before Jake has his next fashion week schedule, so Bradley is sent alongside Jake to keep a closer eye on the people around.

So what if the tabloids decide to take Bradley's presence as something different than what it was and run with a different story? Jake isn't going to correct their assumptions that he bagged the absolute specimen that is Bradley Bradshaw.

Because the news spreads like wildfire though, Jake's stalker ups their ante, a new agenda in hand that refocused their threats from Jake and onto Bradley.

Bradley, of course, takes the threats as good news. And when Jake asks why, he just shrugs and says he'd do whatever it takes to protect Jake, and if the stalker is more concerned with him, then he won't try to hurt Jake. Win-win.

i’m a big fan of clingy jake. i’m a bigger fan of jake who gets clingy when he’s tired, or when he’s had a few too many drinks, or when he and bradley are alone and he’s allowed to show that soft side of himself, shying away from the hangman everyone knows him as.

i’m equally as big of a fan of jealous bradley, the man who gets all steely eyed at anyone jake has decided to cling to (except coyote, he knows when to pick his battles). i’m a big fan of bradley who watches jake carefully anytime they’re all out as a group, and makes sure he’s the closest to jake when the other starts to get tired, or when he’s starting to properly feel his drink.

i’m the biggest fan of jake knowing exactly how to rile bradley up on a night out, of jake knowing how to get bradley exactly where he wants him because we all know that jake has bradley wrapped around his finger.

Slow Ride came on at work today, and while it already always reminds me of Hangster, it got me thinking. There is no way that Glen or Tom or Miles or one of the writers or director didn’t put that song in there intentionally. The lyrics are already pretty suggestive in nature, and couple that with the way Glen and Miles undress each other with their eyes…they might as well have been jumping up and down and screaming that Jake and Bradley are gay!

Thinking about “the moment” for Bradley and Jake. The one where they knew the other was it for them and that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

For Jake it happened one night after work. Bradley had spent so much time and effort cooking dinner for him, which was already incredibly sweet and thoughtful. But the moment came when he sat at the counter, watching as Bradley quietly hummed a song to himself, swaying his hips a bit to the tune while wearing Jake’s burnt orange Texas Longhorns shorts. For some reason, in that moment, Jake knew that this adorable, loving dork was the man he wanted to spend his life with.

For Bradley it happened in the middle of the night when he had woken up due to nature calling. After relieving himself, he slid back into bed. In his sleep, Jake had rolled over and wrapped his arms around Bradley, pulling him as close as he could. Bradley’s heart was already filling with adoration, but then he heard Jake mumble in his sleep “I love you, darlin’.” While he’d already thought about making Jake his husband, that moment sealed the deal. He knew that Jake was the only one he’d ever want for the rest of his life.

Me with tears in my eyes because maybe Rooster remembers his life not in years but in eras of losses - around the time his dad died, his mom died, maybe an injury that ended his baseball career, his papers being pulled for the academy, breaking ties with Mav, breaking up with Jake (it’s real to me), it’s not when he was this many years old but when he lost xyz, but now after the mission he starts thinking in eras of gains - his healed relationship with Mav , perspective of who he is outside of chasing his dad’s ghost, an entire dagger squad of a family, jake : I’m normal about him.
