It absolutely kills me inside that Leland was so brutal to Gwen in the last chapter when her first response to realizing it was him was to be concerned about how hurt he was.

Like yes dude, you’re a villain, but how can you be so nasty to a 16 year old girl who’s been nothing but kind to you, and is literally worrying about you when she’s just woken up from a literal curse

… people are expecting them to get together? Who is expecting this? I thought we were surprised they could even be casual pals???

Ngl as a romance repulsed aroace myself i hope people stop expecting Calpernia and Whitney to be together. Prez already had a long arc to be pressured into dating others which she already responded into, she didn't want any of that at all.

Whitney obviously has feelings for her but respects her decision. He never tries to pursue her and only tries to spend more time with her which are different things.

i'm just very defensive of Prez because her arc of being pressured into romance (Especially when she got that love triangle going on) hits close to home.

Omg we were so incredibly wrong. We were wrong about her herself too, she really was just trying to help the girls. I also feel so bad for hating on Frederick for saying Gwen looked like the portrait ghost. Like sorry we demonized that particular statement, in that case, you were 100% correct.
