"okay - hypothetically speaking that I believe you, tell me more about you and this so-called brother of yours, who's your mum?" he asked. this was all getting confusing, first fred being back and now he's apparently got two kids?

just when roxy was hoping that she could find reprieve in her father's arms, he was pushing her away. literally, pulling her from him and moving away from her. "d-dad? no, i know it doesn't seem like it makes sense but it's true." already she could feel the tears forming in her eyes. "you know magic, right? you know that magic exists. and it does crazy things. you don't know me yet, but in the future you have me and my brother fred, he's named after your brother you have to believe me, dad."

"yeah, I don't think most gyms would take kindly to scorch marks everywhere," she paused for a moment, looking at them again. "wait- you know zuko?" she asked curiously.

"well, there's not many places to practice here, i can't do it in a gym, at least outside i can keep my distance." they shrugged slightly, shaking their head. "not much, i've been here a long time, but i'm trying to get zuko to agree to teach me."

"did you need something?" he asked looking at the other. he'd been in and out of meetings all day and had stepped outside to give himself a break from all of the arguing.

"where?" daenys' frowned as she looked at the other. "I have never heard of that before," maybe it was somewhere in the free cities? or maybe even beyond. "I was supposed to be home, in dragonstone - my family were the only ones who escaped our original home being destroyed, I think they would be worried that I am not there,"

" you're in dc, i believe?" he'd gotten lost himself, having moved relatively recently compared to some of the other people he'd met in passing. it was one of the days he allowed himself to get lost, though, wanting to learn to navigate just a little. " where are you supposed to meet them?"

"that is very strange," daenys made a face as she thought for a moment. "I have heard of people losing memories before - but never like that."

"i did," baela admitted as she looked at the other. "it makes no sense really, but i thought i had a whole different life that i never really had."

"I am as well, but even the best of us can be caught off guard." it was annoying - they truly did enjoy conversing with samara. "are these friends of yours?" she asked raising a brow. "what makes you worried about them? is someone causing trouble? any trouble can be dealt with easily."

"i did hear about that. i'm shocked someone was able to best samara, really." she admits, squeezing the other tightly again for a moment. "i'm... not sure how i feel, honestly. a lot more people have shown up here from our time, mother, and i'm happy about most of them, but one of them has me worried."

"they are wonderful creatures - my husband's dragon was hundreds of years old before he died." aemma had steered clear of the dragons - while she did have targaryen blood, she had never quite bonded with a dragon of her own, but that never bothered her. "they are intelligent creatures that bond with their riders, sometimes until death," she shook her head. "no, never," aemma made a face before shaking her head. "I don't think so - I think I may stick to walking,"

"That's.. wow." Reina wasn't sure what she was supposed to think. "I'm surprised to hear that. I've never heard of anyone claiming such a thing is real, but I also don't want to invalidate what you believe to be true. Are they as magical and beautiful as people say?" she asked. "A car, yeah. Have you.. never been in one?" she followed up her previous question with that one. "Because we could go for a ride, if you like."

"sorry about him, he thinks that everyone should have a treat to give him," archer definitely was spoiled, it was his own fault, but the twins were pretty bad at giving him treats when they thought no one was looking.

"yes - I have noticed the strangeness of this place." aemma frowned at the man. "I am sorry if this is rude, but may I request that you tell me your name?" she asked. aemma was curious as too who this man was and who had married rhaenyra. she wondered if it was something that had been arranged or if had they been able to fall in love with one another, a luxury that many people do not have. "sons? you have more than one?" she asked, tears welling in her eyes once more. she looked at the boy in his arms, she could see rhaenyra in him, but also some of the man, his father. "they're here?" she asked, blinking away the tears that threatened to fall from her eyes. "would you be able to take me to them?" she asked, hoping that he would - if so much time had passed, aemma didn't want to waste any more time.

Harwin had never met Rhaenyra's mother. Heard about her of course, he had been a little boy when she died. "Time... it works differently here. Things are strange here." He was supposed to be dead after all. Harwin carefully stepped towards her. "I know how you feel. Believe me. When I found myself here, Rhaenyra told me all about our other two sons growing up, this one as well. Everything that I had missed." He glanced at his son in his arms for a moment. So grateful that he was given this time with his family. "You might have lost time but you have the chance now to be with them and see the incredible person Rhaenyra grew up to be." He would always love and be proud of his wife.

"moondancer, that's a beautiful name, my husband's dragon was called balerion." aemma smiled at the other. "my husbands name is viserys and we called our daughter rhaenyra,"

"i did. her name is moondancer." there was a sense of pride as baela spoke of her dragon. riding was one of the highlights of her life. "oh yeah? who are your husband and daughter?"

"what?" ben asked, looking up from his phone. he hadn't been paying attention to what was going on around him, too busy scrolling through random stuff on his phone. seeing his brother standing there caught him off guard slightly, but he quickly passed it off as him not paying attention.

"how have you been?" ben asked. he hadn't really had many interactions with padme, but she was still family and he didn't know how close she'd been with his mom, so he'd wanted to check in on her.

"it's alright." padme didn't mind the interruption at all. especially with everything happening, she hoped that people wouldn't stay isolated. "do you want to sit down? i can get you some water."

things had been strange lately, to say the least. "any luck with jogging anyone's memories?" ben asked, leaning against the wall of his father's garage. he'd only briefly seen his mom and jacen, but he hadn't told them anything, not wanting to cause any distress or arguments.

" ben..." han's been on autopilot for days now, and yet...it almost feels like normalcy at this point, that he's lost so much, lost each of them before that he...he knows it isn't permanent, no matter how permanent it feels. stepping forward, he's offering a hug to his son.

"I'm glad that we decided not to give away the twins baby stuff - it will make it a lot easier since I've built this stuff before, I can build it again." they had an extra crib - but it was good because they didn't need to buy a lot of things again. "did we decide on a colour for the walls, or are we just leaving them white and putting things up?"

"i love the support, but do you really think i could lift that thing?" she laughs a bit, though it's a strained one, forced to try and lighten the mood a little bit. though she sighs after a moment, wrapping an arm around him. "jacen will be back, ben. it's just going to take time to help him remember."

he rasied a brow at the comment before rolling his eyes. "you could just call an uber, you know?" he paused. "rather than standing on the street and complaining about not having a ride home."

❛my friends ditched me here and now i could really use a ride home.❜ sanren complained out loud, more as a dramatic plea than anything. she'd finally finished her shift at work, being the one to close down the bar and now had no ride home.

ben raised a brow looking at his niece, before laughing slightly. "sure - so long as anji doesn't think that she can sleep on the bed, I think ari might have something to say about that one," he paused. "still no luck with her memories?" he asked.

"i know it's like... super inconvenient, but can you keep anji here for a while? i don't know how much i can lie about to sella about at once, and that seems like a hard one to explain." not that any of this was easy to explain, but the alien was extra complicated.
