“ah darling, you’re finally back.” the older man stepped away from the multiple screens on the wall, each showing various news footage, among other things. “i trust that your visit was productive.” he doesn’t really question her all that much on where she goes, she has her own agenda to attend to and if she needed anything in particular from him, she would ask.

“we’ve had some intruders while you were gone.” arias continued as he approaches her, giving her a small peck on the cheek. “just some fools from a rival group that thought they could sneak in to steal whatever they were searching for.” it doesn’t happen as often as it used to nowadays, but the former cia agent always looked forward to dealing with them afterwards, some he would put to good use on testing his latest creations on and the rest he would give to his wife.

“i haven’t done anything with them just yet, consider them my welcome home gift to you.”
