I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT IVE GOTTEN!! IT SOUNDS INSANELY CORNY BUT I COULDN'T HAVE MADE IT HERE WITHOUT ANY OF YOU GUYS!!!

it doesn't matter if you've been with me since day one, or if we met recently, but i'm still very grateful for everyone who has stuck by my side!! during this past year ive had a lot of fun learning how to do graphic & web design 🥹 when i started, i had almost NO knowledge on web design and basically no knowledge on graphic design. it might sound corny but seeing how much ive grown along with this blog makes me feel emotional 😭💖

i also got (FALSELY) shadow banned from may 29th to july 5th, and during this time not really being able to edit made me question if my edits were actually good. i ended up spiraling into self doubt and almost ENTIRELY quit editing 💔 i felt very conflicted and i wasn't sure what to do for a while. but once my false shadow ban finally got fixed, i decided to give editing another shot. IM VERY GLAD THAT I WAS ABLE TO BOUNCE BACK FROM THIS ISSUE THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED ME TO JUST STOP USING TUMBLR AS A WHOLE

i honestly felt bad for disappearing from everyone for a while... even though i could still post, i practically couldn't use any interaction features at all 🥀

This is a month-long event inspired by @/wavyskies "advent calendar event", unlike this event, this one will run from September 1st to the end of the month!

" How does it work? "

Every day for 30 days, I’ll post a layout. Each one will be based on your requests, but whats the twist? the theme for each layout will be chosen at random from a wheel containing 30 different aesthetics!

Hello! I've decided to make a half/half thorough Rentry (link) explaining what name gifting is (courtesy of a close friend) and the misconceptions surrounding it.

Something that I'm going to say upfront right now is that Editblr has been blatantly appropriating what it actually is, which is an Indigenous practice being done for hundreds of years. It does NOT exist in other cultures!

What people have gotten name gifting confused with is regular nickname giving, just from another language. Despite this, it is still important that people be reminded of the etiquette of receiving nicknames like this, because it has now reached a point of clear cultural appropriation just with an already misunderstood name on it.

Please review this Rentry (link) properly if you are someone who is NOT Indigenous and has "gifted" a nickname.
